  1. This thread seems pointless. As said on the first page, thhis needs discussing with certain subjects in mind, and has been on so many threads before.
  2. My parents went to see her in concert last year and said she was terrible. They are fans of hers, but said she physically just couldn't sing any more and there were lots of people boo'ing. I've also heard she's been boo'd of stage in a few concerts recently too. Really not surprising to hear, as she has probably done a lot of the damage herself.

  4. Before we can say it's ridiculous, does anybody have a copy of NZ procedures? When a man is wanted for 500m USD worth of charges, the police will take no prisoners. With how much money he had, he would easily have the ability to escape and leave the country swiftly, which is more than likely why the police went in fast and hard. Hindsight is a great thing, but when dealing with large scale criminal operations, the police cannot take any risks. It's better to be safe than sorry, and nobody was hurt.
  5. This was shown at 0:22 in the YouTube video (2 less heads, but remember that's a concept art): This boss is fought in-front of this structure, looking at 0:32, but this is just a stone wall. Exactly. Over the entrance it looks like a statue/monument to the enemy to be fought inside.
  6. I think in the video it's the entrance, but the sketch is the actual enemy.
  7. a lot of people are starting to not like you but im not gonna argue just go back to doing cavecrawlers. anyone can do 200m all with donations/ cave crawlers if cave crawlers where out before agility and fishing you would of done them for those. 1st person to 200m all without donations will really be first tired of people acting like your a god when all you can do is kill cave crawlers and collect donations now. and your claim of 20m rc xp at zmi is a lie. you only did like 85-99 so you could use the effigys from slayer I wouldn't underestimate his playtime hours. The only player to invest more time than Suomi into RuneScape in the past few years is Drumgun. The major difference is that Suomi is also a perfectionist and wastes an impressively little amount of time ingame, a very hard feat to accomplish to the degree he has. He's probably the most efficient in that manner, even more so than Zarfot was, who had no problem wasting a few ticks every now and then. There is a huge reason Suomi is the only player with 3+ slow 200m's, in fact having 4 and nearly the final Rc one, and it has absolutely nothing to do with getting donations. Donations and cave crawlers play a relatively small role in the overall progress he's made and will make on his quest for 5b. With or without, he'd still have been the first to 5b, the difference being now he gets there a few months to a year sooner. There will not be another player to get all 200m's for probably at least another 2 or 3 years after he gets his, if at all. Doesn't green also have a lot of time invested in Runescape? maybe even more then Drumgun :P Don't forget how much time Drumgun spent playing Castle Wars. He's invested a hell of a lot of hours into that.
  8. Except for being possibly the first to see the new styled Jad close up (and probably dyeing due to his attacks possibly slightly changing)
  9. I actually really enjoyed the soundtrack. Everything except the dreadful harp felt really fitting to me, and the ending soundtrack was excellent. Listening anniversary soundtrack right now, loving it. Edit: Also: [spoiler=Ending Spoiler]The end boss was an incarnation of Ganon/dorf right? The fiery red hair, sideburns and nose were just too similar to not be. And on the lines of the end, I was hoping to see all of skyloft return to the surface, but as they didn't does this mean Link and Zelda (being the only two to stay) produced the whole surface human race?
  10. Thought I would revive this thread as I just finished Skyward Sword. It's hard to talk about it without saying some kind of spoiler as there were reveals all over the place, but it was one hell of a game. Contemplating playing through on hero mode but not sure if it's worth the time.
  11. I agree with Sy about affect and effect being basically interchangeable at this point in time. But this thread has gotten way out of hand and carrying on correcting each other is not helping, we should get back on topic.
  12. 3 Mods nowdays are evil.
  13. 5 minutes longer adds up to a lot of development time if they are receiving hundreds of reports about lag when in fact it is the game performance.
  14. I guess it is actually quite important because if everybody uses the term lag when reporting issues to Jagex, they may focus on improving connection and not actually performance.
  15. Even when ? Ownership time is not an accurate indication for when a problem arises. It can take years before auto problems are addressed or even admitted to via recalling, part issues, inaccurate figures, etc. Businesses don't want to do things like that because it costs money. They get away with murder from anywhere to faulty parts to faulty advertising because of "puffery" and other ridiculous clauses in FCC regulations not to mention quality control within the automotive industry. The time is crucial because anybody with knowledge of cars knows that as they are driven more, their MPG drops. It varies car to car, but 6 years of ownership can critically decrease the MPG of a car, especially if it hasn't been properly maintained. And time is an accurate indication for when a problem arises. There may be the odd time when a manufacturer chooses to recall due to a design fault or manufacturing fault, but they are few and far between when the full scale of car ownership is taken into account. Cars as they age are much more likely to fail due to wear, that is fact, there is no disputing that.
  16. What is known that it was advertised as 'up to 50MPG', and that this figure was approved and given by the EPA, a totally separate body to Honda. We also know that she had owned the car for 6 years without raising any queries whatsoever with Honda, until November 2011, shortly before the case went to court. It is also known that she refused to let Honda inspect the car prior to it going to court, and that the car did have a sticker on the window stating that the MPG figures can vary. That is all fact as far as I can see.
  17. Because on her website she (or whoever set it up for her) gives examples and 'proof' of what went on in the trial, all of which in my opinion are not worthy of being tried over.
  18. I would consider that however, I don't have the facts on that case so all I can talk about is her case, which in my opinion and from the facts I have seen is bogus.
  19. The car could get as low as 10MPG in the right conditions, but that still wouldn't be the fault of the car company. Looking at a different article on the matter which is much more informative and gives the view of Honda: Honda do not and have never claimed that she would reach 50MPG, but that it could if she drove it perfectly and in the right conditions. And it was not even Honda who came to that conclusion, but the EPA who did, a separate body altogether. And on the woman herself, she comes accross as an annoying [bleep] who is just trying to get at a big company. If you go to the website she has set up, it allows you to send what are basically spam emails to Honda through it. Because of that, I cannot see any sincerity in her whatsoever. She owned it for 6 years, and then refused to have it inspected. It is no wonder it had less MPG, it is again, idiotic to think otherwise. I would hope Honda appeals and she has to pay them back for loss of reputation and time wasting.
  20. No it's actually a strict FCC rules about advertising thing that companies must adhere to thing. But the car likely can hit the advertised MPG if: a) She drives correctly b) The road conditions are correct c) The car is in good working order I'll use the MP3 analogy again. I can fit 5000 songs as advertised, but that's if I do things correctly. The same is for the woman and all the other owners, they need to do things correctly. There is no single MPG that a car manufacturer can give for a car. It can vary so widely that it is nearly impossible to do. If you were to be going full speed, up a hill in gale force wind, the MPG would be extremely low for example, whereas driving correctly on a flat surface in no wind will likely get you to the 50MPG mark. Just because she didn't drive it in the right conditions doesn't mean the company should be liable. They are going to advertise the best possible MPG for their car, it would be idiotic for them to do otherwise.
  21. This is absurd. The stated MPG is usually the maximum/perfect you can get, right conditions with the right car. It's just like an MP3 player might advertise that it can fit 5000 songs, but in reality can only fit 4500 as some may be large. You wouldn't go to court over that. This is people not knowing a thing about the subject matter (cars) making ruling over them. For all we know, these owners may live in very hilly areas, on bad roads and where there is very high wind speeds.

I've never played it but it sounds fun. I'd be up for playing with others.
