climate change, or propaganda?
That graph contradicts your argument. The overall trend of the temperature shown in the bottom graph is upwards, yet the top two graphs show the sunspot activity in the last two decades either staying the same or declining. Where does this temperature increase then come from?

climate change, or propaganda?
''One author of the critique was the retired James Cook University professor Bob Carter. Professor Carter, whose background is in marine geology, appears to have little, if any, standing in the Australian climate science community. He is on the research committee at the Institute of Public Affairs, a think tank that has received funding from oil and tobacco companies, and whose directors sit on the boards of companies in the fossil fuel sector.'' http://www.smh.com.au/news/environment/minchin-denies-climate-change-manmade/2007/03/14/1173722560417.html Credible sources make credible arguments. I am yet to see any credible evidence against global warming, when there is a plethora of credible evidence for it.

climate change, or propaganda?
Well there is the sticking point right there. Studies showing incredibly large coincidences between human activity and the rise in CO2 are out there, things that can show almost no doubt (such as the graph shown on the last page). Ignorance is not a valid reason to argue against climate change. When one side of the argument constantly shows evidence which is close to conclusive, and the other side shows virtually nothing, it's hard to see how people can be sceptical.

Driving stories, complains, and other experiences
I don't see too many bad drivers normally but when driving home from University sometimes I see bad drivers on the motorway. I actually had an accident about a week after getting my car and passing my test (about 3-4 years ago) which wasn't my fault and actually really annoyed me. I was going to my dads work (he's a mechanic) for him to have a look at the brakes as they were squeaking and about 100m before his work there is a small, but not mini roundabout. There was nobody coming from the right so I just went straight around it without slwoing down too much, about 20mph. A young woman then decided to pull out right in front of me, so close that I barely had time to press the brake. I went straight into the side of her car, writing my car off while hers was still drivable. What annoyed me though is that I can remember her not even looking in my direction as I went into her car, she didn't look as though she had looked to the right at all. At the moment I'm getting annoyed with people who can't park at all. There is a BMW which parks in the spot to the left of mine here at my flat. Our spots are directly opposite the entrance to the car park from the road so once you are in the car park he doesn't have to turn to get into the spot, yet he somehow cannot park in the middle of it. He always manages to park as close to the white line on my side as possible, sometimes even being over it with his car at an angle. Recently I've started just parking as close to the left of my spot now just to piss him off so he can't get in his car, but even if I park in the middle of mine most people would struggle to get into his car. I wish there was a way to easily report drivers talking on their mobiles. It's illegal yet I see so many people every day doing it, it really frustrates me as I know just how dangerous it is.

15-Nov-2011 - Breaking Dicing
The difference is the scale. Dicing was everywhere which gained it new hosts and players constantly. Although I'm not sure on the scale of new methods, making it move to a 'black market' massively damages the number of players and therefore money which can be gambled and possibly scammed. It may still be present, but not at the size it once was.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread
I think the annoying thing is that it just seems greedy on the developers side. If you truly labour over a game and want to make it great, you add everything you can within your constraints. They should truly finish the games before sending them out. I don't mind if a developer sees that their game has been successful, then starts making things to expand on it when the community wants it, but with modern DLC, developers will plan not to release things, even though it will probably have started being made before the original game has been released. An expansion pack should be released when you don't quite have enough content to make a full game release, but still want to, they shouldn't be planned from the get go, when they could be simply added to the original release. I guess I just feel cheated a lot nowdays when developers could easily add extra to the original game (that doesn't come cheap) but decide to make people pay for it for no reason other than to make money.

I personally don't like DLC's due to them seeming to me like rip offs when I've already spent full price for a game. I don't mind expansion packs because they usually add a plethora of things, usually expanding on the original game. However, DLC's simply offering an addition while keeping the original game as it is irk me. Developers should want to put everything into the game for those who buy it, not part of what they want into the game, then making people pay for more. Take Dragon age as an example, it came with an in-game advert for the DLC, even when you bought it straight away.

A survey about video games
Finished it, however it isn't a fully accurate representation due to me having to select between console and desktop, and then which game genres i prefer. I prefer some genres like RPG's, strategy and FPS's on Desktops but platformers and more 'misc' type games on consoles.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread
I've never really found anything too expensive. I'm at a stage now where money is nothing to me, and I've bought a few 2000+ gold weapons/armour pieces simply to dismantle them for their enchantments, even though I don't use them. I wouldn't mind some large things to spend the money on later in the game. Owning a shop would be cool (building, not wife). The only thing I'm fairly disappointed with in Skyrim is something which is probably quite picky. I find it quite annoying that there aren't dragon weapons at all. So far I have found no explanation as to why either, they just don't exist. While Daedra weapons look good, they don't quite match my armour any more, and are a pain to create due to the scarcity of daedra hearts.

I haven't really found any need for enchanted weapons yet. Through levelling my one handed skill, I'm able to wipe the floor with most enemies in a few hits. I have a few grand soul gems saved but my dragon armour is all already enchanted so I don't really have the need to enchant anything. The wizard in Whiterun usually has a couple for sale.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread
Been playing this all week solidly. Had so much fun, even though I've barely touched the story, I've clocked up over 50 hours. I've got so many quests on the go at once, and keep trying to finish some just to clear up my quests page but somehow end up starting three new quests by the time I start one more. I can'y play for another three weeks ish so I trued going through the story today (starting almost from the beginning) and got through fairly quickly until I got to that huge darn cave with the red nirnroots. Can't remember the name but when I got there I spent a good two hours there just lost. How can such a large underground area exist? It was just incredible, felt like some kind of dream world. Married that woman from Rifton who had lost her sword, and she's now accompanying me across the land while lydia remains at home sat in my bedroom. I trained Smithing straight away and got full dragon fairly early, which turned me into a walking tank. I'm now pretty much untouchable, taking on giant camps with mammoths without having to heal at all. My first non-quest dragon kill was such an epic. I was going to some sort of quest dungeon when a dragon attacked me just near the entrance. At low health, it retreated up the mountain behind the dungeon. I followed it a little way up and it attacked again, retreating at low health. Repeated this a few times until I got to the peak where the dragon kept retreating to and found it's little home. It felt like I'd been hunting it and it had been my arch enemy. I'd ran out of health potions halfway up so was a real battle. I don't want to join either side of the war, they both seem like arses. I wish there was a middle ground way to go. I still haven't discovered three of the cities, the map is just so expansive.

93 years later
One thing we have learnt is that throwing huge numbers at the enemy is not the way. We still go to war, we still battle but we don't lose tens of thousands in single battles, in single days. Soldiers lives are valued much more highly than before, which even with killing, is a good thing. wars can be fought much more efficiently with much less needless killing and the loss of generations of people.

Why are dresses and skirts worn less in modern times?
Typically both genders wore skirts/dresses, but that's just me being picky. It's just due to fashions. Men would still be wearing them if it were not for changes in fashion too.
