The 'untrimmed' cmb capes, or 99 with 3 3 3 3 w.e's arent sapecial anymore with sw to be honest.

Sc items work on exp, so the picaxe would be sued 8x faster than normal, taking 8x less ores. The brawlers will work on ores mined. So if you use a rune pick, you'l mine say (i don't know the numbers) 500 ores using up the gloves. With a SC pickaxe, you'd mine 250 ores to use the gloves up, but get the same exp in total, (but go through a lot of pickaxes)

But your a bug abuser, ofcourse you'd stick up for what you did, its like a defendant in court saying they shouldn't get punished. You go there with the knowledge you will be able to fight back, use the skills and items youve worked hard to aquire to defend yourself, knowingly knocking them out of the game is something they couldn't see coming, if they had known they wouldn't have gone in there. If they had lost their items through a fair fight then nobody would be complaining. It's a shame that there isn't going to be a rollback, i'd willingly sacrifice a drop or some exp to somebody who's lost something unfairly.

No, because that wasn't bypassing a system jagex put in place to prevent RWT. But now the system is there, intentionally avoiding jagex's trade limits is against the rules. Yes it was to prevent RWT, which it does very very effectivly. 99% of all bh trading is only to free trade. Damn near no bh trading is RWT. Why hurt the thousands of players that use bh to free trade, just to stop the literally handfull that use it to RWT? Because even using Bh to bypass the trade limits is classed as being against the rules. Yes i admit the G.e and trade limits are kind of broken, but people going into Bh to trade know that it is against the rules and against the limits jagex put into the game. You should by now know the way Jagex do their updates, the've done it ebfore, they impliment the crunchdown first to ward off the cheaters, then they impliment the fix for the people who like the game and have stayed around. 'IF' (as we don't even know what they are doing to BH) they remove BH, in this year of fixing, i highly expect them to make changes to the g.e and fix large amounts of trading, but Taking out this aspect of BH needs to be done.

Because book of balance sucks and its not worth the ~200k what he said : I'ts very much worth the money if you can't afford a zam book and at this guy's low level, the tiny defence may help. It's better than nothing.

They don't exist. Brawling Gloves themselves don't use potential, but killing someone for 26k uses potential. Potential does not determine the value of an item you get, just the drop table you are in (high, mid, low). Do an hour at first, then do 3 kills. After that, every 30 minutes try and do 3 kills. That will get you the most kills because it doesn't go up as much for an hour. 30 Minutes for 3 kills doesn't mean you can build up 1 hour for 6 kills, that will only get you like 4 kills. Do what you want for hotzone, though, as long as you are risking 75k and not banking everytime. so after some agility training in w26 wildy (pvp world), i can call my friend and he could die to me with absolutely nothing on and i would have a chance at brawlers? I think he means that the drops you get don't use your potential, its the killing of a person with 25k+ does. By the way, don't get your hopes too high about agil brawlers, they themselves are very rare, i've had 8 pairs so far, none agility, and looking at total's brawlers, agility look to be fairly rare.

This is essentially the point of the entire post. Is RWT really having such a negative impact that these changes are necessary? Look around you and compare the current times to the old times. Macroers are no longer ruining the game, and credit card fraud issues have been dealt with (as said by Jagex). Transferring gold is dangerous, and time-consuming. RWT has been HUGELY REDUCED as a whole. So it leads to the question: Does the RWT going on right now affect you at all? Answer this question personally, not with the generic brainwashing comments Jagex has spread throughout the community. The only reason I can think up which affects the game negatively at this point are the updates that are aimed at stopping it. Somebody bombs a building in Iraq, does it effect me directly? No, should it be stopped? YES. Saying something doesen't directly effect me is an invalid argument, the people RWT'ing and xfering items are CHEATING. That is the point about it all, they are cheating at a game we play comppetetively, and it isn't in the spirit of the game. It's morally wrong to cheat, and it may not effect me personally but by god i will support anything to get those cheating scum out of this game i like to play. The people who have brought this on are the RWT'ers and Xfer'ers, and they are the main majority who it will effect, as said by alot of people, a very few people actually use BH to pk now, it is defunct, un-needed and letting cheaters get away with cheating. It was meant in my eyes as a temporary place for people to pk untill PVP worlds were introduced, now we have those, BH is un-needed.

People forget that intentionally dieing to xfer items in BH is classed as RWT'ing in jagex's eyes since the trade limits, which this whole this is about, and which is all against the rules. That will ruin Pking for P2P. I know in F2P chances of getting someone killed is 1 in 20. But in P2P it's normal and with ags , claw etc...u can kill someone very fast. So from where i stand P2P should stay, and F2P should go. But then again that would not be fair for F2Ps who love BH. Origionally, there was PKing anywhere.( not just on pointless worlds that very few people go to) Then it was in the wilderness only. Then It was BH only. Have you heard of those worlds where you can kill people anywhere, oh what are they called...ooh...ahh oh i know, PVP worlds :roll: Good pkers can make alot of bick bucks there, it's practically the same except you just need to be a better pker to make money. People always say they want high level challenging updates don't they? And now, as of this moment, you can't PK in runescape anywhere. Every update is bad for PKers, and I have always figured that it was only a matter of time before Bounty Hunter was removed.

Well yeah, quite kills a thread. Have to agree on that. Though in this case it's a very reasonable argument. If I felt the way the topicstarter displays his feelings, I would in no way still play this game. I am 100% anti jagex yet I still play the game. Why? Because I don't have the financial resources to make a better game myself. Also, it does have its good aspects but at the same time they [jagex] display an extreme lack of logic. Hell, off the top of my head I can think of a dozen changes that could/should be made to the game that don't take a genius to figure out. The thing about that last statement is that it doesen't take a genious to figure them out, but it takes somebody smarter to realise the full effects of them. We can all think of some things that jagex did in a way we dislike, but the thing is, we don't think of them full enough. Jagex will have a team of at least 5 people i'd beleive doing feasability (sp?) checks to all updates, going through each and every possible outcome that could come from it. We may think an idea we have that they should have done differently is good, but im betting they also thought of it, and dismissed it due to something else negative coming from it.

If someone so desired to train an account up to lvl 100, that's not quite hard to do. A week or two of intensive work at best. And if you're neck-deep in credit card fraud, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a team of people training up that account. You cannot say that they're unrelated. Just like I can't say for sure that they're related. The only one who knows is Jagex. What we DO KNOW, as players, is that Jagex's scope has expanded from credit card fraud, to stopping RWTing to preserve the game's integrity. That is one reason why this change is happening. I think you're misunderstanding the Credit Card fraud issue. Using CC fraud for members gives you a 2-10 day window of having members, after which you will be BANNED. The only characters worth using a stolen CC on for 2-10 days of members are LOW LEVEL THROWAWAYS (which allows you to macro and make gold faster than f2p, but still relatively slow, only worthwhile on a large amount of characters). I'm not talking about game companies who are power leveling an account, because that is completely unrelated to this situation. Credit Card fraud went hand in hand with macroing. Gold farmers would set up a bunch of low level bots and have them pick flax or whatever. HOWEVER, low level characters cannot transfer effectively through BH, which is why I am saying this theory is completely false. Pray do tell where they've blamed this on CC fraud. The updates last year were but it has not been mentioned for a very long time.

I got on for a couple of games last night, really didn't like it, mainly because i'd go to a game that said it was skill matched, but then 2 mins later somebody would join and totally dominate everybody. I think the skill matching thing should stop you playing in games that are lower than your skill, it just made the game not fun at all.

Haven't been able to get into a game yet, everytime i try it keeps coming up with the 'waiting for a challenge' message, but looking on the forums it looks like alot of people are getting it. One of you guys may be able to help me though, i'm gettinga wierd thing with the quake live site, best explained in this screeny: [hide=][/hide] Everything appears there, not just the game selection, i've tried the site on different browsers and restarting my comp. Also, i can't customize my character on the game setting window, all the other windows like controls work, but the character one doesen't -.- .

Brawlers are hard to put a rarity too, but i'd say you have the same chance of getting a pair as getting a barrows item.
