I was never a fan of the BTS or DD's. 1. Way too many people 'assumed' too much about updates. They assumed updates would do this or that based on 1 word jagex made (Robin's anybody?), people reading too much into everything jagex say is one of the main reasons for hundreds of rants after every update. 2. I much prefer a suprise update out of the blue that i know nothing about, over the past year or two the BTs have become ever more detailed, they may as well have just been putting up the Update's news post's with the BTS, it ruins the point. 3. People always whine when jagex don't say something in the BTS about an update they have been waiting for, much like Mobilising armies and fixes to other game content, Jagex can't do everything in one instant, at least without the BTS people don't get all worked up. 4. I'll mention people ranting because they assume things about an update again because it jsut got on my [bleep] so much in the last year, DON'T ASSUME ANYTHING ABOUT AN UPDATE THAT YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT AND CRY WHEN IT ISN'T TO YOUR TASTES!

Can i suggest if you want a different and more interesting training area, you try ankous at the bottom level of the SOS. You can use a salve there so it boosts your exp, the monsters are agressive and they have some fairy decent drops. Just alternate between the ankous/ghost and ankou/skepeton rooms when they become unnagressive. Or if you really want to kill daggs, don't use the lighthouse. They are always crowded and will often have cannoners, for the same exp you should use the ones in the north west corner of the chaos tunnels. They have very low defence, and there are TONS of them. You have to pray from range, however the drops will easily cover the potions. the gear to use would be a compromise between prayer and str bonus, with about 10 prayer potions and some alch runes, then whatever extra gear/pots you wish to bring. They drop alot of alchable items like fremmnick blades/helms/shield swhich alch for 4k each, and they drop dagannoth hides too. The flattened and stretched are only 1.5k ish each, but the circular are 20k+ each and sell instantly on the g.e, and you will get a fair amount of them too. There are enough dagganoths in there to even possibly chin thats how many there are. Bring a combat familiar too, as its a multi area.

The best investment by far would be leaving it as a cash pile. It's value will NEVER decrease, and other items will decrease, meaning after a year, you will be able to buy more than you can now.

I agree with what master smither has said above, every bit of it, i have exactly the same views, but theres no point aerguing it with carl as its how he makes his money, i wouldn't call PVP gambling cheatign as its how i make my money, its the same thing. I'm not 100%, but i don't think there is. There is evil stew, but that's not predictable at all, and not worth it unless its a one time thing you want to do like a quest.

I thought this was going to be another one of the threads that you talk about when i first read the title. I've started just not bothering to post in any thread that rants at an update without any research into the topic, just in the hope it may die faster, you have a point that tipit has had ALOt more of these threads that damn the updates, but it may be because alot of recent updates have been a fair bit stranger than they used to be, and taking a bit more of a thorough look into them to see the real reasons they were done.

It all depends on what you find hard. If you find bosses hard, then mep2 and seergaze will be the easiest, then legends, then dream mentor. but if bosses are easy for you but long puzzles and mazes are hard, then mep2 will be hardest, then seergaze, then legends leaving dream mentor easiest. The two desert quests are farly easy, watch out for the boss in one (can't remember which), its tought if your not well equipted.

woohoo ive got the hardest skill in runescape maxed! i r l33t now? : well thats obviously not the hardest skill by far, im surprised agility wasnt in there btw (i voted for slayer btw, its harder than rc since zmi imo) 600k xp/h soooo hard 1m+/h with dag bones (im counting tortoise/yak and house tabs and everything on that according to calibanio/zarfot) Does it count getting the money for the leveling though, i bet thats why it got so high.

I couldn't get my friend to re-do his monkey picture as PNG before it was grown, so i think you'l still want that. He did take adult as PNG for me though, still needs tidying up.

I agree with paw's comments, both the First and second articles were a fiar bit too biased for me, i really liked the way the underground pass quest worked, i'd love more of them, and as stated above, alot of the first article was just a lack of research.

People blame it on the g.e, but its not really the fauult of the g.e, they were dropping before the g.e came out. There are so many items now worth more than rares, rares have gone way down in popularity.

Being drunk doesn't affect your hits. but it effects your reactions. Total, i had 2 friends/people i know banned for that BA bug this time around, apparently one of them made around 50m from it, the other around 5m, they brought it on themselves, both 2k+ total, 130+ cmb's, one of them even had 10k cw tickets, what a waste :wall:

I'm guessing it was stunning, while wearing the full melee set for negative mage bonus.
