Because it's annoying? Well its annoying when people get up on their high horse about it, when its obvious what we mean when we say somebody has been hacked.

I don't get why everybody is so annoyed at the term hacker, its a general term used in rs for when your accounts stolen, simple as, its just like the word hacking has become the word for cracking.

I only read the first page and already massively disagree with alot of posts. The just of the posts are 'don't be stupid and you son't get hacked' Well i disagree, even the smartest of us will get hacked. Why do i think this? Because i was hacked around 2 months ago. The 'hacker' changed my password while i was online, and when i logged out to hop worlds, i could not log back in. They then had around 3 hours in which it took jagex to change my password for me to go on my account and drop 26m at the party room. I was not stupid, i still to this day do not know how this person got access to my computer, i have NEVER told anybody my password, I also had a reputable antivirus and firewall at the time (mcafee) that i was paying for, and i had never visited any runescape based site to ahve my password phised. A few days after i got Avira antivirus and found a trojan on my computer that mcafee had not found and swiftly deleted it, however, how this got on my computer i have abosoultely no idea. I was not stupid, I didn't download anything runescape related and i will say i know an above average amount about computers, but how was i supposed to know mcafee wouldn't find this trojan? Now, why the hacker did this i have no idea, probably because they are the scum of human evolution, only doing this to harm people, as my items were dropped at the party room, the person had no personal gain whatsoever, so they had no reason whatsoever to do this.

I know its a double post, but i just got emailed with a beta key for the closed beta testing, so i'll be able to give some first person details on the game here.

I think i buck the trend of fun players alot, i've never extensively done anything mathmatically for training or making money, but i can wear any items, have finished all the quests, written a few guides, have some very high stats and have an above average amount of money. It may be because i've played for over 5 years.

Your right, d claws do suck. The only good thing about them is pjing as a scare tactic. I've been pjd tons by them and only once been hit for 50+. The only reason people see them doing high is the opponent is usually not prepared, who would be when they are pj'd?

It really wasn't that complex, he just made it look complicated. I felt like he thought the reader is stupid with the over explanation of simple stuff. So in successive posts, we have complaints that: 1. It was too complicated. 2. It was simple and condescending. Thank you for proving my point. The community can never be satisfied. Storm, you seem to be angry at us readers for not liking your article last week, don't take it so personally, we know you probably took a long time writing it and we appreciate that, but we won't all like everything all of the time. Some of us like some articles, others don't its never personal. I don't get how saying it was too complicated for somebody, or somebody else saying it is a bit condescending is never being satisfied, some people did like the article. Me personally didn't like it as i've never been a player who who works efficiently, i'm a person who sits at the bank for 20 mins then does a task slowly but in a more fun way. To summ up: We all will like different articles, i doubt there has ever been one which everybody has liked, or everybody has disliked.

From what i know, once you hit 0kg, any further below that you will not run out of run any slower. E.g, you will use the same energy at -1kg and -14kg. But extra helps if you end up picking things up.

Healing familiars wil only attack if they are attacked first. Just so happens enemies in wild will attack anything, including familiars. Have to be careful, healers have bugger all hp.

I don't think its the highest or who was there first, maybe we should do soem experimenting at 99 edgy.

Also don't forget you won't lose any summ points if you use the familiars scroll, only its right click special.

I agree with mage tbh, to a huge extent its all luck, the hits, if the oponent prays etc.

No, I have a job and can't play the hours he played but I could easily gain the xp-per hour. Yes, I have the funds. Generally no, most people have jobs or school and can't play the game for 15+ hours per day, money wise, yes, I'd say quite a large number of people can afford it, money is so unrealistic these days. I agree with 3hit, 200m prayer exp is the same as 200m cook/fletch, just a bit more costly, but nowdays tons have the funds to do it.

Once i read the first few lines fo the first article i closed the page, i knew it would be pointless for me to read. I've alos never read the fictional stories. I've never played efficienty, it doesen't feel fun when i play like that, i like to go at my own pace not really caring how fast or slow i get exp or money, as long as its fun why change?
