  1. Can you PLEASE edit that topic title, it has been annoying me for days. It's Blood Diamond! No s on the end! I didn't really like it by the way.
  2. Pocket Money A bit of an 'odd' western. It hasn't got those wide open landscapes of the old days, no romantic heroes, it actually is more like a document of todays cowboy (the today of 1972). And that's a pretty cool angle. Unfortunuatly the movie itself isn't as good. It doesn't really 'flow' well, with the exception of some scenes I expected a lot more from the duo Newman/Marvin (which are two fantastic actors), and also the jazzy score seemed a bit out off place. But that despite that it's still acceptable quality and it's a pretty relaxing watch. Cinematography by no less then LÃÆÃâÃâászlÃÆÃâÃâó KovÃÆÃâÃâács (Five Easy Pieces), script by 'Terry' Malick (Thin Red Line) and directed by Stuart Rosenberg (Cool Hand Luke).
  3. I'm looking forward to it. It's not that I read the comics or something, but the Silver Surfer is so incredibly cool (I don't really know what the character is like though), and he must be looking awesome with todays technology.
  4. All Stars Black Socks Black Boxershort Blue shorts black t-shirt day off. <3
  5. ̢̢̮ââ¬Ã¡Ãâì23.99 inc. shipping from Amazon! 8-) And: The Traveling Wilburys Collection (CD)
  6. lmao not exactly what i meant, i meant bands that are alive and sound good, but they need a little bit of publicising(sp?). Ah, alright. I'm not really 'into' that scene, I'm a bit claustrophobic. But two weeks ago I saw We are the Physics, and they have a pretty awesome live preformance. They haven't got an album out yet, so I don't know how they sound on a regular album, but that won't last long I think. http://youtube.com/watch?v=ZwoWkCmsm0s And, well, they're not really 'underground' (Nick Cave, lol) but their new project isn't as well known as Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds 8-) 8-) Can't believe the guy is doing this he's almost 50 years old.
  7. Why did sweden get cancelled? And is it a delorean? (Sorry Bubs. :P)
  8. Matt, when are you going back to the future? You're going to sweden in three days?
  9. Not gonna post any pics. But Kaka, from A.C. MIlan. God, if I were gay, I'd hit him. He's like an angel.
  10. Who is your favorite person to discuss things with? Don't really know. Matt, Rick, Azvy, Indy, Sumpta, Satenza, Mr. Putter etc. because we have a lot of the same interests. Who do you think would label themselves as your enemy, or beter yet, who do you strongly dislike on this board? Don't really know, not really bussy with that type of stuff. Besides, enemy's on the internet, what's up with that. If you could sit down with one person, and have a deep, philisophical conversation with them, who would it be? Don't really know, I'm not really the 'philosophical' type of guy. If I had to choose somebody probably Mad, if she spoke Dutch. Because she is such an interesting person, with some really interesting views on life. If TIF was "real-life", who would you consider to be your group of friends? I guess the kind of 'group' that comes to Music & Movies and those who generally post for fun on off topic. Sir Alex, Nadril, Azvy, Bubsa etc. I think I could get around pretty good with those guys. Do you miss seeing anyone around? Nope..not really. Now that I read trough the topic I saw Rizla's name. I'd like to see him back. :) But it's not like I 'miss' him or something. If one person on this board were to become famous for doing something awesome for the world, or for maybe becoming a world leader, who do you think it would be? Pfft. How should I know? Dusqi or something. Well, I'd like to see Dusqi, because he's such a nice and clever guy. Haha, I just read trough the topic, and there are people who actually see me becomming something like a world leader. Hilarious. :D
  11. I don't really care, I never cared much for the simpsons either, so it's only logical that I don't really care for this movie. I never really care for any movie out of an (animated) t.v. show. Why should I care anyway. Everybody is so hyped about this movie, but I really can't see why.
  12. I'm on the internet because I hate it so much and I never get any entertainment out of it. I just do it to annoy myself, duh. And why I played Runescape, because some of my friends were playing. It's just like smoking actually.
  13. Great, glad you like them. I got they albums myself yesterday as well. :)
  14. I'm diggin the cover, Bubs. I'll see if I can find a hole in my budget. Will this album be on there for a limited time btw, or just till the end of time?
  15. Keira Knightly? Pfft. Monica Bellucci is the way to go. Or Adriana Lima Or what about Ludivine Sagnier? And if they're not your thing: Jasmina Trinca. But if that's all too exotic, you can go for boring celebreties like Jessica Alba of course. ;)
  16. The Beatles, but they don't really count as only half of them is underground.
  17. Good God, how many thousands of euros did you save up?
  18. Nobi Wow. One of the heaviest war movies I have ever seen. The soldiers don't really feel they have any purpose; they don't fight for their country, they don't want to return to their girlfriend or something. It's all pointless for them. They just wander around a bit, trying to survive, but they don't really care if they die either. It's rather depressive. The movie has got some pitch black humor in it, but that couldn't cheer me up either. The movie wants to portray war as the ultimate evil, and it succeeds. Very good.
  19. Thanks for sharing. Did you have greasy hair, big glasses and a FireFox lunchbox as well? The toothpaste doesn't 'burn' your skin.
  20. Double Indemnity - The two most imporant words in movie history since Broken Blossoms! It's fantastic, I'm a huge Billy Wilder fan, he can't do much wrong in my book. And this is one of the greatest noirs ever made. I love it. Fred MacMurry's gentle touch for the badguy, Barbara playing the femme fatale and Robinson stealing the show as, surprise, a good guy! "It sounds crazy, Keyes, but it's true, so help me. I couldn't hear my own footsteps. It was the walk of a dead man. " Brilliant. Just as the ending, cut off at the perfect moment. Must see. Oh, and yesterday evening I saw Death Proof with a large bowl of popcorn and lotsa beer. And what a treat it was! We had a great time! Although paying homages to your own movies is kind of not-done, Quentin.
  21. Just put a little bit of toothpaste on the spot. The toothpaste will dry it out.
  22. Put toothpaste on it. If that doesn't work you could always put your nose in hydrochloric acid. Oh, I got beat on toothpaste.
  23. Hah, I found a really old now playing thread. :P http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=457 ... sc&start=0 Let's see what you can find about yourself. :) Nadril was still cute there.
  24. Shadows The 'birth' of the American Independent Cinema is almost 50 years ago. But still this movie is surprisingly fresh, and holds up very well between all that forced indie junk that's coming out the past years. Everything is nice and lose (the movie is completely improvised) and very well guided with an excellent jazz score. Also cuddo's for how daring Cassavetes was. You gotta have some balls to portray the 'white man' as the intruder of a black family, and complaining about painfull penetrations isn't something that got appreciated much back in the day. Must see.
