  2. Starting to get into it more now. And it's really good. Need to take some time to get into it though, because there's so much. So I'm just randomly buying stuff here and there to figure it out a bit.
  3. Into the first track now, and it's better than I expected. Too bad about the vocals/lyrics though, I absolutely can't stand that.
  4. Brother listens to metal and hard rock. I listen to everything. Mom mostly Johnny Cash, Joe Cocker, Rod Stewart, Simon and Garfunkel and my father mostly classic music and 60s 70s pop music.
  5. I fall into the Cyber-Gothic category.
  6. I think I am going for bad on this one. Close call though...
  7. But aren't other people paying for this guy's 'disability'?
  8. Anybody saw the European Championship 21- yesterday? Semi-final Holland - England was very exciting. England 1 goal ahead, and Holland made the equalizer (fantastic goal) in the 89th minute! After a 32 penalty shoot-out Holland went trough to the final.
  9. Hahahah you do what I do, I suck them up with the vacuum cleaner. Really? I'm always scared that they crawl out again and take their revenge on me. :P
  10. Everything is alright as long as you don't mix it with video games. :P I'd say give it a go to see how it works. You can always test, right? :) The forum isn't very diverse at the moment, maybe making it a subforum will make things more interesting.
  11. The world is getting a little bit crazier by the day. This isn't 'real', right?
  12. Although it's not my 'cup of tea', it didn't sound bad, quite good actually. :)
  13. Banning videogames, where is this world going too. Although I was a bit shocked when I had a couple of 5 year olds in my shop talking about GTA "Then a woman goes in the car and then it starts shaking, that's really funny".
  14. Did you check your mothers pulse?
  15. Did it occur to you that you're not missing anything but that you're just a little bit ahead of the rest of your class? :P Don't know if that's the case, but it could be.
  16. Why not though? If you got so much time on your hands, it wouldn't be wrong to earn some money on your own and get some working experience? Don't you spend money?
  17. Not to drag you down or something, but don't overestimate yourself, could work out nasty. If you're not used to it 40 hours of work a week is a lot, and doing a study next to that, it's really not that easy as it looks. If I were you I'd just stay in school.
  18. Oh, right. The OP didn't look very interesting so I decided not to read it, and just post what I had in mind. Didn't know 13 year olds were picky on what kind of job they had to do, it's not like they've got much choice.
  19. I didn't have any contact with the online 'teachers'. I could contact them, but I just didn't bother. I didn't do any assignments either. I started out with a 'testfase' to see if you're up for it which lasted half a year. I got trough half of the first book (out of 3 from the test fase) and I just stopped working on it. But you should work next to it. An online study isn't meant as a full time thing, but part time. You were ought to spend about 20 hours a week on it, then you have got a lot of spare time where you can't do much, you'll get bored pretty quick. I had a 40 hour contract, so I couldn't combine it. But if you work 20 hours a week or something in a store it shouldn't be too hard.
  20. Pink Floyd - The Wall Haven't played this album in ages, but yesterday I saw the concert on location from '90, and I got in the mood for it again. Waters is such a genius.
  21. I just didn't do it. I had to work a lot at that time as well (more than I planned to) and when I was off I was suposed to do that stuff, but I prefered to do fun things and rest from hard work. It seems easy when you see it, but when you need to study at home all the time and nobody breathing down your neck that you need to do it, things become a lot harder.
  22. I tired it. But the only thing I learned was that I didn't have enough dicipline.
  23. Huh, where does this come from? I haven't seen someone replying about Chuck Norris in ages, here at least. But indeed it's annoying, it wasn't even funny to begin with.
