About a year ago I got into the electrofunk band Chromeo. It's consts of two members Dave and "Pee Thugg", they have been friends since childhood, and now they've been making music for a while. The reason I'm starting this topic is that other than myself and a few guys on other fora I never heard much other people about this band, and that while they're so much fun! They're incredibly cheesy and they've got this awesome 80s feel all over it. And of course I don't want you guys to miss it. They've got two albums out now. The first was She's in control and the second one has been released two months ago and is called Fancy Footwork. So far I've only got the first album. But I shall be getting the second one pretty soon. Some video clips of the first one: Needy Girl Rage
Wiki Let me hear what you think. Enjoy!
I can't really listen to music like that on my computer. I'll see if I can find a CD of his next week. Is there something you could recommend? On a side kind of thingy. Could you recommend me some more pianists? Not really the boring stuff, it has got to be exciting. I listened to something Glenn Gould did a couple of weeks ago (well. he didn't really do it a couple of weeks ago, since he's dead for more than 20 years, but I listened to it a couple of weeks ago), and that was fantatic. It was work by Bach that he played. I'd like to go on a 'journey' myself, but I've got to have a start. :)
http://www.we-make-money-not-art.com/ar ... 009322.php] It's public domain. No reason why you shouldn't post it. :) Although everybody ought to own it on DVD or see it in cinema. ')
http://youtube.com/watch?v=kXuESUaESHY Chromeo - Needy Girl I never thought there was a videoclip for it! But it's amazing! http://youtube.com/watch?v=JqEXAZPI0eA More Chromeo hotness. RAGEEE!
Pineaple, Passionfruit, Melon and mango juice. So, not four different juices, but all of those in one juice. This is the orange juice version, but it's the same package. And for alcoholic drink: The best beer that there is. :) OH, and just water, of course.
I would love to have the talent to make movies or music. But that's not going to work. So I'll just say a career as shop manager for Free Record Shop, because that's what I'm learning now. :P
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix What a let down. I'd even go as far to say "worst of the series". After part three I had some hope, but the fourth one was a step back already. And this one is another step back. It's one big RUSHED mess. I expect the score to lower pretty soon on IMDB. After the fanboys luckily there come people with a pair of brains, most of the time.
Hey Satenza, we've got the same favorite Beatle. :') Favorite song, oh I don't know. Good Morning or something, always cheers me up. Back in the USSR is good as well. So are Help and Let it Be.
I'm not really begging him/her/whateveritis to help me or something. I just get to myself and and tell 'him' or 'her' about it. And then I usually feel better and get over the problem.
Korskin, what does pre-maritial sex has got to do with rape and prostitution? And since when is marriage a guarrantee for a happy and loving family? This isn't the 50s, you know.
There's not much harm in seeing it. The first time I saw it I was mainly interested in it by it's reputation, so I was expecting a lot. I even was a bit frightened to watch it, but if you're watching it for curiousity value it will be a bit of a dissapointment. When you're seeing it for a second or third time it's actually becoming a pretty interesting watch, because you're watching beyond the humiliating things that are happening on-screen. By no means Pasolini's best, but an interesting movie nonetheless.
What a dull thread. If you like the Beatles so much make a good tribute thread. Instead of copy pasting something and then ask for our favorite songs. Pfft.
For what I know he only was excecutive producer. And did some small adjustments on the script. And then they just hung his name on it for promotional purposes; the brand Tarantino sells better than Eli Roth.
Did I really see the face of C. Ronaldo with the letters "The new 7 world wonders" beneath it. I'd like to have the kiyomizu temple in there and the Easter Island stuff. I also think Christ Redeemer and Taj Mahal are good choices. But I think the whole contest is nonsense. Why would you need seven new world wonders? The old ones did perfectly fine.
She's not shallow, you're overly romantic. Do you really think Christians marry because they love eachother? They just want to have sex without burning in hell.
