Give him a phonecall, send him an e-mail, vissit him at school. Or just ask the girl again.
  2. Very nice, I really like it. The head looks like it's been squeezed in though.

Ask your friend for her msn.
  4. Oh, Lord. Where is world going to. Anyway. The Bourne Identity - Seen it one time, kind of forgot about it so had to see it again. Pretty decent action-thriller. Sometimes it's a bit childish (as in acting). Car chase is pretty good and also the shootout in that big field is well done, action-scenes are choreographed very nice too. Music could've been better though. All in all a 7 out of 10 will do.
  5. Pick her up at home and walk. That's more romantic than a car. Depends how far you need to go of course.
  6. That's up to you of course. But I hope you see that it's not a terrible movie. :)
  7. The actors and the acting suited the movie just fine. Costner gave a very nice preformance as a work-hungry fresh policemen with a mission, who during the mission starts to realize you need to change. You can see his changes in his way of work, the way he treats his familie and collegues. Also Sean Connery succeeds very much in his role to be the 'father' of the four and guider of the group. And Charles Martin Smith, the accountant who first experiences the exciment of life and adds a comedy element to the movie. The reason why it gives the genre so much depth is that this movie finds the perfect combination of the clear "Good vs. Bad" story that is used in many western movies (you can see other western elements in the movie as well, locations for example), with the scene at the bridge as the climax of this movie. Which is also an amazing location choice and change to display the character developtment. First they are strict, they stick to the strict city rules. But later they are on a wide open field, freedom, no rules: just the good and the bad. And we don't hear you about the amazingly thrilling movie references and shock moments, such as the thrilling scene at Malones house from first person (taken from Halloween), the shocking opening scene taken from Hitchcock's Sabotage and the most obvious reference and perfect tribute t o Eisenstein's revelotionary Potyomkin: The scene at the station. No: we only hear you about "bad acting". Come with something better than this pap.
  8. No, it's not 'just' an opinion. The Untouchables just isn't a bad film. It could be true that you didn't like it. But it is a good movie, and it was the first film to break out of tradion for Gangster flicks, it gave the genre far more depth, unlike the pretty casual "Goodfellas" by glory-hunter Martin Scorsese (Goodfellas was good, just nothing new), and better than the shallow "Scarface". And yes I know it is made in 87'; I wasn't talking in release date new.
  9. The first refreshing gangster movie in years and you got the nerves to call it terrible. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. when I need to take the train in the early morning I just put on my music and look grumpy. People don't even dare to start a convo.
  11. The last one, I didn't that one too much to be honest. You know it's the one where he gets back from Russia, loses all his money and stuff and starts training this little boy
  12. Oh, I thought it had more something to do with say what you want to say to your loved ones, because you can die every moment. Or something like that. I'm kind of curious why he wanted that ping pong ball though.
  13. I think it's an Alice in Chains song. It sounds familiar but can't get to the name. /me listens to Alice in Chains albums now. edit. I believe it's "Dirt" /me starts doubting again. Damn this. Why can't Rizla or Dan get online. :P
  14. I think it would be better to do a greatest album per decade than per genre. This way you won't have all the genre fights and you still got a bit limited competition...But I don't really know where to start those. My 'knowledge' doesn't go much further than late 50's...Maybe all the winners of the decade competitions could compete for the greatest album ever title. Obviously no mixed artist compilation albums, what about greatest hits albums? Should we just stick with original releases? Hmm I'd say just original releases. No live recordings and no Greatest Hits albums.
  15. Rock <34248721498!!!! Which is your favorite Rocky movie? My favorites are Rocky II and Rocky IV. :D
  16. Errr, if you can, don't take season 1. It really hadn't found itself at that point. Seasons 3-6 are the superior ones... Oh, too bad I read this too late. :P I took season one and two with me from work. I saw season one last night. It was pretty nice, had some laughs and was pretty entertained. From what I've seen now I'm giving it to Futurama though...But who knows what Season two has got to offer. Plus the music theme rules, that one's better than Futurama's.
  17. Hmm, interesting movies this week. They all seem to be great for discussion, especially Mulholland Dr. and Old boy. Seen Old boy only a few days before and I think Mulholland Dr. will be better for the thread. So I'm going for Mulholland Dr. :)
  18. I never really saw the Simpsons. But tomorrow I will take the first two seasons of the simpsons with me from work (I can borrow products from work). I will see those two seasons this sunday, after that I think I can give a decent comparing. I've seen and own all four Futurama seasons.
  19. Where are Frank Zappa and the Mothers? :o
  20. I think a general greatest album of all time would be great. I was just saying greatest book of all time wouldn't be that much harder than album. Ugh, please no greatest album per genre. I can imagine all the fights during a greatest metal, punk or emo album. :P

    Birthdays.

My 10 birthday or something, don't know the exact birthday sucked because I had diahreehaa (what a crap word) and I had to throw up, the puke even came out of my nose, and I slept all day. My 16th or 17th birthday (can't even remember it, I suck) ruled, we had a massive garden party at my place, party tents, speakers and lights all trough the garden, beer pumps, all kind of drinks and snacks, loads of people! It was great fun. :D

    Piercing

I haven't got a clue. Guess it depends on the person. Some people say it hurts, others say they don't feel anything.
