  1. Does it by chance disconnect when someone calls your house?
  2. Slayer helm is indeed not needed for cannong them. Like cpt said be sure to bring masked earmuffs or a super restore as the mighty banshees will drain your stats on the way there. Edit: Its also worth mentioning that the specs there are not agressive, so if you disconnect you don't have to worry about being killed before you can flip mage pray back on, the only way you can possibly die is by running out of prayer. [hide=pic of me using this method][/hide]
  3. hdimage.org better quality, no adverts, 50 mb limit etc.
  4. I know that when you play full screen on other games you can't move your mouse to the other monitor so I always played in window mode. My best advice is to play runescape with your browser in full screen mode, not sure how IE looks with it but in firefox my screen is very close to the same as in-game full screen when I simply full screen my browser.
  5. Well did some testing, here are the results. Each test was only 1 hour but that's plenty to get the gist of xp/h. Dragon Mace: 41k xp/h | 56 crims per hour | 736 xp/crim Ancient Staff: 45k xp/h | 66 crims per hour | 681 xp/crim Obsidian Mace: 64k xp/h | 96 crims per hour | 666 xp/crim The crimson rate takes a lot more data to calculate accurately, but using the average xp/crim rate... (736+681+666)/3=694.3 average xp/crim = 92 crims per hour for the obby mace. The loss of magic defense is really noticeable, I'm going to have to get an EE. I'm pretty satisfied with these results, gonna go with this setup. Gonna add in superhuman strength though for a little boost in experience rates.
  6. I'm currently doing some xp tests to figure out whats best. Testing dragon mace right now, doing ancient staff after that and will probably give obby mace a quick test as well, will post results when they come in.
  7. Yes but I do not want to use z spear because I want to train on defensive, please read my topic before you post rather than simply looking at my signature.
  8. I'm actually liking the looks of this. Ancient staff/defender is 58 crush and 55 strength compared to z spears 65 crush 75 strength, both are the same speed, this might be my best bet.
  9. Which weapon would be best for defensive crush, verac flail I'm assuming? I recall someone saying ancient mace + defender or something as well.
  10. Hello TIF, I recently got 99 range and have started duoing armadyl gwd and have been having a lot of fun with it. I'm looking to up my game stat-wise, which involves raising my defence and summoning levels, my goal is 99 def and 88 summoning. I am wondering what monster would be the best to camp, slayer is not an option as I do not value its experience at all at the moment and I'm only interested in efficiency. It seems to come down to nechryaels vs. dust devils. From what I understand nechs are better summoning exp, dust devils are better combat exp. Obviously 88 summoning is a pretty far-fetched goal for not using waterfiends or rock lobs, this makes me lean more towards nechs so that 99 def and 88 summon line up better. If anyone has combat exp:summoning exp rates for either monster I would appreciate it. Another option would be to train at waterfiends on controlled for fast summong exp/small def exp and then train at AZ for fast defense exp/small summoning exp. I need some opinions on whether I should go for camping one monster or breaking the two skills up.
  11. I'll raise you a http://hdimage.org/
  12. I got a KBD head at level 51 con and I doubt that is high enough to mount it so I don't think so.
  13. I made a defense strategy when getting my void that seemed to work pretty well. The easiest way to lose in PC is to have too many torchers and defilers attacking from the south since they can shoot from any part of the wall as opposed to the west and east gates which due to the layout, there is generally only have one mob attacking the void knight on each side. To counter this problem I geared up in full range gear with bronze knives and tagged every torcher and defiler that comes from the SW and SE portals while protecting range. With this setup you shouldn't die much as only mage based attacks should be hurting you and you should be wearing d'hide. It takes practice but once you get used to it you can virtually negate all damage that comes from those two portals making the probability of the void knight dieing very slim. I lost a total of two games during my full set of void on world 144 while I was playing correctly, with about 5-10 other losses that were clearly due to a large amount of torchers/defilers from the south that I failed to tag in time.
  14. Around 8m for the chinning using regular chins.
  15. You can remove a sara brew for an extra super restore if you're confident in avoiding damage. Get an explorer's ring, borrow an amulet of fury from someone or maybe even a sgs. Take advantage of removing brews by safe spotting something in latter 90 waves to let your hp recover naturally (don't let a range dose go to waste though, timing is key) rather than wasting brews. If you died to jad from running out of prayer it means any little thing could give you just enough for your cape.
  16. You easily make money from cannoning spectres. Bring a beast of burden to bank some extra drops.
  17. Its worth going to ape atoll at 71. Ape atoll maxes out at around 54k per hour. As stated you don't need any super energies there, but I'm almost certain you would need them for Dorgesh-kaan if you decide to go there (which you should at anywhere between 80-90 subject to personal opinion, its around 62k exp per hour depending on fail rate). Edit for the gree-gree, I do not take any credit for the advice I'm about to give, this is copy and pasted from the official tip.it guide and I am just emphasizing the needed parts. Edit2: I messed up a bit on the gree-gree guide and it should now be correct. [hide=] *The big house with the trap door is labeled 'crates' on the map above. *You will need to bring a gold bar, ball of wool, and lots of food with you, super energies recommended. Head west to the big house with the trapdoor in the middle. Go in through the back door (south side). Do NOT step in the centre area (a different colour floor) and AVOID THE TRAP DOOR! If you go near it you will get jailed again. Stick to the walls of the house and search the crates inside. Be sure to click short distances to walk, in straight lines only, or the game may walk you out onto the middle of the floor. From the outside edge of the room, carefully get near the chest closest to the trapdoor (the crate set at an angle on the east side) without walking on the centre floor. Search it and get some magical monkey talking dentures (getting an extra is a good idea). Carefully find the crate with a hole at the bottom in the very southeast corner of the room. Go down the hole and head northwest. There will be about 6 crates in the northwest corner. Search the crates to find a monkey amulet mould (again, one extra might be helpful). Teleport out - climbing back up the rope earns an instant trip to jail again. Once you have the mold and dentures. Now take the dentures, amulet mold and a gold bar to the Marim dungeon and have your gold bar enchanted. Head back to the monkey village by getting shot down and jailed again. Using the same method as before to escape from the prison, hide in the grass and head east towards the temple. Go in (make sure protect against melee is on). Look for a trap door to the east in the temple and climb down it (might be a bit tough because these gorilla NPCs block your way, so be creative. Note you can recharge your prayer at the idol on the north wall of the temple.) When you descend, you should notice 2 walls of flame in the dungeon. Use the enchanted bar on either wall of flame and then use the ball of wool on the amulet. Wear the amulet. Head back up the rope and try to escape (again the NPCs will block your way, so try climbing the ladder and escaping from the upper floor, where there is a ladder to the south). *This step is labeled monkey child on the map. Also you wont need to pick bananas just ask the child for another talisman. Using the grass for cover and staying on the north edge of town, head back to the north of the jail again and move west. You should find a small courtyard with a few banana trees in it. Observe the Monkey's Aunt, who has a certain walking route - she'll call the guards if she sees you. Wait for her to go into the house, then talk to the little monkey child and claim you are his uncle. While watching out for the aunt, pick a few bananas (5 or 6) and give them to the little monkey (he wants more but can't count). Then, head north to hide and wait for the aunt to go to the little monkey and head back to the house again. Keep talking to the little monkey (may take several times) and the monkey will tell you that the aunt has given him a toy. Ask for the toy and you will get a monkey talisman. This would be a good time to get your ninja monkey bones if you haven't already, just kill an archer monkey located on any of the defense towers. Now go all the way through the Marim dungeon again and have your gree-gree made, you can then enter the agility course.[/hide] http://www.hulu.com is a popular site for watching your favorite shows.
  18. Do you know where the cleanup or defragmentor is on vista cause i can't find it. Start menu -> All programs -> Accessories -> System tools Both are in there.
  19. Broke 1k drags, still no DV or other dragon drops. Every clue I have done is garbage not even worth posting but I'm still gonna keep going strong. [hide=90 Range][/hide]
  20. Body/Legs = torags, get a verac skirt if you wanna spend the extra cash it's a little better.
  21. Defense rating is a bit overrated for aviansies, its not like the run back is very far. Unless your defense is pretty low you should always go for a higher range attack bonus while maintaining a decent defense rating. You're 92 defense so I'd definitely go with tassets + d'hide chest.
  22. Yeah I just sold all my d stones today. I've been experimenting with a drop logger and want to get some feedback if I should switch my format. I found this from another user in a diff. thread it's pretty neat.
  23. 20k irons? TAKE ALL THE BLOODS I GET AND MAGE 10K MORE IRONS, OH YEAH.
  24. 600/10k Here's trip 5's haul, pretty good for nothing rare. Edit: Yeah I haven't decided exactly what I'll do with the money I make. I do know that once I accomplish this I wanna set another bizarre-like goal, this time I should have some cash to play with.
