  1. You requested a guide on how to enable mouse keys, but you said you already have it enabled and are having problems with particular settings such as the distance your mouse moves. Do you only need a guide to enable it, or do you need a guide on how to adjust the settings? Edit: Here's what I got for you, if something doesn't make sense let me know. [hide=Bunch of Pictures] Click on start->control panal Choose classic view in the upper left corner. Next double click "Ease of Access Center" Scroll down to "make the mouse easier to use," click on that. Check the turn on mousekeys box. Make sure you hit APPLY at the bottom right corner. After that click on setup mousekeys. Make sure the two boxes I have circled in black are checked, hit APPLY after checking them in the bottom right corner. The setting circled in red is what changes how far your mouse jumps every time you press the number on your number pad. The higher your top speed is, the farther your mouse will jump. In order to get your mouse to jump far, you must hold your control key down. You can also use sticky keys by the way to make holding the control key down easier, let me know if you don't know how to use that. Try a few different settings until you get the desired one. You must hit apply or save every time you change the setting. If everything works for you now, great. Save and close out and that's all there is to it. Now if you couldn't get the setting you wanted (Example: One setting makes the mouse jump too far, but when you lower the top speed by one notch it makes the mouse not jump far enough.) then proceed to the next step. To get some different jump distances you need to go into your mouse settings. Go back to your control panal and double click on mouse. Now click on the pointer option tab and notice the pointer speed setting. Adjusting this setting will completely change all of the jump settings on your mousekeys. Increase or decrease the setting by one notch, this will throw off all of the previous setting you were trying out earlier. Once you have done that click apply and go back into your mousekey settings. Try a few different mousekey settings and see if you can get the exact jump distance you were trying to get. If not repeat this step and choose another different pointer speed setting until you get it right. Just incase I lost you here: After changing your pointer speed setting, you need to go back to this picture and change the top speed setting a couple times until you get it right. Everytime you change your point speed setting, all of the top speed settings will change slightly. [/hide]
  2. Use Karil's crossbow instead. The shots cost about twice that of a crystal bow when they're down to 180k each but karil's is much better for DKs. Crystal bow damage is pretty much comparable to broad bolts but costs a lot more and is two handed.
  3. I tried tanking them even with unicorn and 93 defence I still got hit a bit too hard so you'll definitely need to use prayer. By the way I haven't been there since but I went there maybe a day or two after the RT5 update and all of the safe spots were removed. Some things were changed or "fixed" a bit after the update but I'm not sure if these were affected.
  4. Indeed bring ranging potions and the shield/zammy book if you have one to swap when your in the safe spot. By the way I started messing around with these so I can give you a little insight on what you're getting into. At 99 ranged and 204 ranged attack bonus it takes me about 25 minutes to kill 17 black dragons bank the hides/bones and run back (using terrorbird) at the evil chicken lair. That's 40 dragons per hour; 30k ranged experience per hour and 360k revenue per hour (black dragonhide is not worth the current 6.xK but rather 4.5kish). If you got a visage per 5,000 kills add 300k revenue per hour, of course the actual drop rate and whether or not you would get one are a completely different story. Nonetheless its an interesting semi-afk spot where you can make consistent money while getting the chance for a big drop.
  5. I assume everyone that is replying with I get 13 killcount or 1263634623 killcount is actually referring to the old style in that they are including the 6 brother kills. I used to get 12 or 13 but I really don't see any reason to and it actually speeds your trips up a lot to only get 9 (6+3). I can do 10 chests per hour using my method, and a lot of the time I cut out was thanks to reducing my kill count amount.
  6. In my opinion the best killcount to get is 9 as it makes you eligible for all rune types and bolt racks. The only thing you are not able to get are dmeds and half keys which are not common or worth much anyway.
  7. If you have the money left over after buying the so far mentioned gear, I would buy a ZS for waterfiends. It's annoying to have to borrow one every time and it looks like it'll be within your budget. After that buy karil's if you have the extra money, at least buy the skirt, its only 600k.
  8. EE is very good down there. However SGS's prayer restoration is amazing. If you normally pray mage when you lure (you should even with hybrids) then you will get enough prayer in 1 spec for atleast 2 lures. Its worth taking if you don't have a SGS and its by far the best 2nd special. Ancient mace (what your classing as bone correct?) is questionable down there. It misses a lot even with piety. Its better then nothing, but I'd take an extra prayer/super restore or even holy wrench (if your using guthans and titan+ to heal). As for prime I refuse to mage with guthans without hybrids as its far to risky to without praying most of the time. You have to range prime until hes dead or hop worlds (extremely risky). I've pulled prime once in 30+ hours since the RT5 update. See my guide for a different lure spot that has an extremely minimal chance of pulling prime. I never use mage prayer once I'm in the spot unless my hp is getting low (I don't bring guthan's since I'm 88 summoning), and if you don't use prayer then most people prefer EE spec.
  9. Just to follow up on this a bit. I tried piety here with full prossy and DFS on task. I got 120k defence exp/h at 90 attack and strength at the cost of about 60k cash per hour after factoring in drops.
  10. Thanks for the replies. I think I'm going to try Kuradal's next time if even wolpertinger didn't seem to dish out enough damage.
  11. Just curious what you guys think would be faster. Ferocious ring with rune defender in Kuradal's dungeon or warrior ring, DFS, rune minotaur in the chaos tunnels. I know a lot of people will say Kuradal's simply because it's nice to summon your bunyip and not pay attention to your health. This is pretty much nonfactor for me and am just concerned about which method would give faster kills.
  12. That's pretty impressive. Were you mining them? Nope unfortunately my mining level is awful. It took me 9 doses of super set repotting every 10 minutes to kill 140 of them. 200+275 hitpoints / 2 = 237.5 average hp per creature. 237.5*4*140=133k 133k / 90 = 1477.77 exp per minute = 88.6k xp/h
  13. I wouldn't use a godsword even if you have one. I very rarely miss with whip and I'm only 90 attack. Its an awesome task btw, was based on guesswork but I'm pretty sure I was getting at least 90k defence xp/h there.
  14. I'm told KBD is faster using whip and defender. Iron dragons seem to have a bit more defence than KBD so I'm leaning towards ZS, for mithril dragons ZS is definitely the best.
  15. I am 99.9% sure that you get 1.33xp in each skill, it is still faster though due to strength training being slower using a saradomin sword. Edit: Also regarding above poster, I believe gsb was also referring to monster hunting, which is undeniably many players favorite aspect of combat.

I know his kind well, they are nothing more than trollers. And that is why. You say this but I would've simply replied with editing as well. Without establishing that you realize its editing and then asking questions such as "How do you move inventory like he has done in the video?" without stating what editing program you use, it sounds like you believe it was the screen he actually played with. Now as stated, there is no program to count hp. Any editing program that allows you to enter text is all you need, simply count it yourself and display the text. For moving the inventory, I have not used WMM I only use Vegas, but if WMM allows you to have multiple video tracks I assume one could simply have two video tracks. One is the normal screen with the inventory, map etc. cropped out. The other being just the cropped inventory placed in the spot you want it, in a video track above the other.
  17. 1. Yes you do. The gate near the entrance cannot be opened alone, you need someone to help you in. 2. Both are 9 spots and I personally like the ladder. You can save 2 seconds per pull by using the bend but you have to deal with the hassle of Rock lobs respawning and attack you while looting, its annoying. The new RT5 ladder safespot is actually west of the ladder right next to the stalagmite. You can still use the traditional ladder spot but one can respawn and attack you while you are still casting which I personally don't mind as it doesn't happen often, what kills me is when they attack me while I'm busy looting as well which they will not in the ladder spot. 3. Use Ahrim's honestly, make the most out of your casts. 4. Ahrim's top and bottom, farseer, glory, RoL, mystic>wizard>infinity boots, M wand>ancient staff, barrows gloves, god cape. 5. You don't need prossy but in my opinion you might as well bring it to save on prayer potions. 6. I always stayed for 4k casts but that's a long time, I probably wouldn't go there with anything less than 2.2k bursts which is 4 hours. 7. Check out my video guide.
  18. Yeah that should be right, add left, down, down, right, up to that.
  19. Using my method I think I could get 32 chests without SGS although this is slightly altered, I bring pure sets usually and do 12 chests per trip but if I took out those out I could manage 32. I use 2 prayer doses per chest (one for ahrim, one for karil), using the barrage + sally method. I do not ever use any food, Guthan's is sufficient healing. It is much faster and wiser to bring pure sets though at 12 chests per trip I do 10 chests per hour. Having boosted stats for karil and killcount/guthan healing is priceless. I get 9 kill count for deaths, bloods, bolt racks, only drops I can't get are half keys and D meds. I wear Sally, Infinity Boots, Fire Cape, Guthan Helm, Ahrim's Top, Guthan Skirt, Barrows Gloves, Fury, Seers ring, Harr tar. Inventory would be: Blood Runes Death Runes Water Runes Teletabs Guthan Top Guthan Spear Rune X'bow Broad Bolts D'hide Top Rune Defender DDS Spade Prayer Potion x16
  20. I'd use leaf bladed sword even against iron dragons at your level.
  21. my main problem with chaos tunnels is that theres not enought spawns. in my previews tries in wildy, I managed 1/3 of times to 3 hit the dragon or close to that. isn't it ubber time waiting doing nothing in chaos tunnels then? There are 4 spawns, 2 is pretty much enough on a 1.5k+ world. In any other case 3 of the spawns is enough to kill them nonstop without waiting for death animations, being as effecient as possible. There are other people there and its multi, so depending on the time of day you can run into issues but more often than not it ends up just being people helping you kill the green dragon faster since your combat stats are much higher.
  22. With your stats don't use the wilderness. Wear full prossy, nezzy, fury etc. and go to the chaos tunnels as mentioned earlier. Bring house tabs, antifire potion, pure set and your best BoB. Once you start taking some damage turn on protect melee and it will last you your entire trip. I was getting around 120 bones and hides per hour with pretty much the same stats as you have.
  23. Use the granite shield and torag helm. Drop the sweets for some diamond (E) bolts. Borrow a fury. EE is nice but you're a ways away and you should be fine without it. You can probably take a 7th brew with 17 rests, I brought 7 when I did it and I know that I had at least 4 rests left with 70 prayer. Your setup and stats are good, as long as you know what you are doing you will dominate.

Just bring the runes for 1k casts and bring an extra 200 or so fire runes.
