Thanks for the support everyone. Updated log, 466/10,000, nearly 5% done already. The range exp really isn't all that bad, I'll be getting 90 hp and range very soon, screenies to follow. I'm going to start doing a clue in between each bank trip to add some flavor. Nabbed this picture after one of my bank trips. Someone with a party hat stealing from an old lady, what has the world come to. Edit: Is that a lady or a guy I can't even tell, looks more like a guy now that I look at it.

Yeah always prayer + prossy black demons. I farm ranarrs in between tasks because the prayer pots really can add up if you get black demons a lot like I do.

Do 10k+ irons with me instead! *points at blog* I intend to get at least one visage, wouldn't be surprised if 10k metal/black yielded 2-3.

1,009/10,000 Welcome to my blog! Introduction Hello all, I'm Poke Bill. This is my first blog so be merciful. I've been playing runescape on and off since 2003. I recently came back to playing and had a hard time deciding what to do. I decided I need to make some money and catch up with the latest craze in gear. I've always liked monster hunting, so I started messing around with blue drags + agility shortcut, slayer, etc., nothing really hit home. I was trying to think of what other monsters you can camp for a good profit with my moderate stats, then it hit me. I remembered reading Mario Sunny's blog on 10k visage dropping dragons, this was something I had never camped before, and it was right in my ballpark stats-wise. I promptly bought the best gear I could, stocked up on range/anti-fire pots, finished my void ranger set and set sail to my new headquaters, the brimhaven dungeon. The Method For kill the drags I'm using range with the following setup. I sip a range pot every time my range level equals normal level plus five. I always let my anti-fire pots run out so I don't overwrite them, this way i can drag out my trips as long as I can. I haven't done very much testing yet but thus far I've been averaging about 32 iron drags per hour which is about 20k range exp or so per hour. The Art of AFK Gamplay One of the things I love about Iron Dragons is they're so easy to afk. Each kill takes quite some time due to their decent defense, however they pose almost no threat at all to your health, you also cannot get randoms here. As a computer junkie like myself, this leaves me open to do a lot of things in between each kill. One thing that helps me a lot is my 22" wide monitor, if you're still sporting a 4:3 17" monitor save your pennies, this is one of the best investments I've ever made. Here's some things I do to pass the time. Anime: Yep I'm one of those guys, I watch a lot of anime, I probably watch enough to be considered Otaku. This is one of the beuties of a good size monitor, just make your RS window about a third of the size of your screen, sit back and enjoy some anime (albeit it's just not the same when you can't fullscreen it). This is actually pretty hard to pull off when you're logging your kills as well so I don't do this all too often but I still occasionally do. Currently watching and caught up on: Bleach, Naruto, One Piece, 07-Ghost, Pandora Hearts, Tsubasa Chronicle OVAs, Eden of the East, watching Gintama in between all of that when there's no new releases out of the others. Music: Ah music, who doesn't love music when playing video games? I especially use music when I'm just browsing random forums and such. I use a wonderful online radio that I feel everyone must check out, seriously if you're reading this right now and you like music, go to this site. The site is called http://www.pandora.com, it's a free online radio that plays music based on what kind of band or song you pick. Basically you pick a song or artist, the site goes through its plethora of music and finds other songs/artists with similar vocals, melodies, and tons of other music elements. You can add more artists and songs to create some variety, which I suggest you do because one weakness Pandora has is if you just pick one band you'll eventually come back around to the same songs. Social: This one is pretty obvious but I'll include it anyway. Browse forums while you're playing, it makes time fly like no other. Join Tip.it's clan chat and socialize, socialize with friends. Keep your fingers moving on your keyboard and you'll forget you're even doing some horrible runescape grind. Books: I'll add to this later, right now I'm just looking for suggestions, I haven't tried reading while playing but I'm sure it would work great. I don't read all that much, but if I find the right book it's all I do. I recently finished The Dark Tower series by SK and am looking for a new great book series to read. I'm looking for something with adventure, magic etc., heard of ice and fire was good, looking for some feedback here. Iron Drags Thus Far Well I suppose it's time to get down to bu... one sec anti-fire just ran out ;) . I started ranging irons 5-21-09, as of right now (5-23) I have killed 341 irons, over 3% of my goal. Starting range level was 88, hit 89 range already and still cruising. When I complete my goal I will be a little shy of 98 range. The only noteable drop thus far was a d-skirt, I'll make a separate rare drop table once I get some more goodies. Now this will be fairly inacurate, but I decided to take my first 100 kills and project what I would end up with after 10,000 kills. I plan to do this again, probably at 1,000 and 5,00 kills. Bring a super restore for the banshees if you're going slayer dungeon. Edit: I see that you said since you can't go to prossy, as long as you have done the quest you can. Rofl, random tasks are random. Spectres -> Black demons -> Spectres -> Spectres -> Black demons. The best spectre task I've ever done, ended up nabbing 333k worth of stuff.

According to erichermit's guide to misunderstood monsters they do, of course it's very difficult to tell exactly.

Found this typo in your spectre section, should be well instead of tower, makes the paragraph very confusing. I can confirm that they do drop mystic bottoms in the well, I just got one. Edit: You might also want to suggest to people who go to the well for spectres without a slayer helmet to bring a super restore potion due to the banshees. I had to tele out and grab one because I forgot they lower your stats :cry: .

Using ancient magicks or I suppose red chins really speeds it up for a little bit of cash you save time and get to see big numbers. Also note that you can buy a large pouch at the runecrafting guild.

I'm thinking of making a p2p pker that is around 90 cb. I am certain I want 99 range and 94+ range, for ranging/farcasting etc. The problem is incorperating the melee stats. What I would really like is to be a ranger tank but I can't quite get it right so I thought up of these stats. 60 att 89 str 70 def 90ish hp 52 prayer and of course 99 range/94 mage This puts me at about 94 cb which is great. I'm sure alot of people will tell me that 60 att is a problem. I was thinking at 90 cb theres alot of rune pures and I don't think it would be too hard to hit them. If I use melee it will only be for dds specs. I mostly will be using a combonation of ahrims/black dhide and range/maging. Overall what I'm asking is, are the above stats any good? How can I modify these stats to be a better pker? Is there better stats for being a level 90ish ranger tank? Thanks for the advice.
