doom... first person to 85 slayer couldn't get whip drops b/c they didn't add to drop table until second person got lvl 85. Even though they were added to game upon release. so two people always coudl get whips or at the very least the first whip was gotten by the second one to lvl 85. I think a sabre bought it.

This was a long time ago for me... but I don't remember getting Clue Scrolls too often. Things like Jellies are definately the way to go as far as getting clues. Cloths and rune longs were more common.

Just a few things... I like the new update... I feel some peopel are being stupid about it. A girl said she looked fat with new update. I hope that was a joke... I have a 2.4Ghz Pent 4 with a GeForce 2 MX 400 and 521MB ram. The requirements for me seem about right. I can run high detail with other things open and it uses within 256MB ram. My processor is a Northwood, I think that makes it 5 years old. Now thats the family computer. I have a x24 laptop that high detail cannot run on. Oh well. Old "low" detail mode is now available within the old "high" detail mode. Just click "safe mode" if you cannot play rs unless its in low detail. Otherwise just turn all options off in-game. Thats what i did at first.

I've had problems with firefox on computers with low mem (considering I'm doing other stuff) and it lost me a bunch of items. It loses focus of the screen and I watch myself die b/c i can't eat or anything. Probably unique bug, but yeah. Problem with the clothing ones... like mime... takes a few minutes to do... then gives you only 500gp. I always run south towards black demons when sandwhich lady comes in steel/iron drags. Will random after kill of monster (when you have'nt picked up drop yet) be possible still with this new update? That happens to me, and it still bugs me.

Are muted people muted on tip.it forums or even rs offical forums? Isn't that more what Grand Exchange replaced?

Melee: Green vamps, weapon (preference), kite, shield, legs, large, plate, diamond amulet, stronghold boots, cape. Range: Coif, Green d hide, diamond amulet, regular boots, cape for highest range bonus. Rune large for more defense. Mage: Leather Caps (or prayer bottom for prayer bonus), mage robe (blue or black), hat (blue or black), anti drag shield, regular boots, cape, and magic staff (fire or air).

Now that you mention it the group I was with found ghosts more often when standing still than moving. Thats just speculation though. Often when we fought one another would come. Seemed to happen if we were hitting real well on the first. 3 other players and I were luring them into chaos altar lvl 38 wildy and killing them. One wouldn't lure and seemed restricted to general area it spawned. They do seem to come all at once though as if instead of jagex creating them under x conditions every second they happen every 4 minutes. Note: One ghost walked through the door (closed) at the altar when it first came, but most ghosts got stuck behind door if we trapped or shut door on them while we were inside.

Reselling the same item at grand exchange has a time limit on it. Unless you were able to buy off all the lower end priced units, creating a larger demand, there wouldn't be a way to sell higher. High bid buyers can take low bid offers. That said your ideal item would be one that is going up in price. You might also want to consider items that can be converted for a profit. Say uncut gem to cut. I don't have an answer to your question, but thats what I do know.

I was out there earlier on f2p just checking it out with a lvl 85 (cmb110) miner (he had rune on). We basically came to the assumption that rune mining is more of a speed game now (rune ore per hour) rather than a game of avoiding death. You can mine faster with the bank closer and fewer chances to die. So think light to increase run time. Atleast for me, they attacked me and my partner constantly with mage. If you are getting attacked by mage and range while wearing green, you might consider switching to rune. If you choose rune you might consider pieces and not the full thing. If you run low on prayer inbetween runs enter into the bounty hunter arena and then leave the door immediately. This should recharge your prayer and hitpoints and running ability (which since rune mining is a speed game... it helps). A lot of people were wearing dhide that i saw, but I never saw a lower level get attacked. Might've been instinct, or tested I don't know. Ghost lvl 126s were rare but with the group of 4 lvl 110+ we saw quite a bit of Ghost 105s. I do not know if that is due to our prescense or not. Whatever you do, do not carry an antidrag sheild. They weigh more than rune kiteshields and offer less protection against the range and mage.

I agree with your second point, but $5 is fairly expensive... it adds up.

72gp per is about the cost of Mith arrows not addy? (atleast in bulk). Anyway if you tested steel darts on Bloodvelds (or knives) you would find they are better than both the bows. Bloodveld are easy to hit. Dark Bow is better tested on something such as blue dragons or black dragons. The attack bonus and special will actually help then.

I would think darts would cost more than arrows... they don't require dark bow.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this happened in Runescape Classic and Jagex retaliated by lowering the xp for rune smithing... Now isn't any different in the eyes of f2p.

Sorry I hope I'm not too late... but I did Agility Arena at level 20ish Before that I did quests to get my agil up. You can reach about half the tickets at level 20, maybe a little less, but its less repetative and less frustrating than barb agility course. For me, it was also faster. I timed barb and agil arena, arena won. I dont' know if anything has changed recently though... I know with new gloves agil arena becomes faster xp still. I know gnome is horrible when compared to arena.
