2 things - with the r2h, it's due to lag, and its an easier animation that servers refer to when thery asre slow. the second one could be either because you are f2p and someone was holding a p2p weapon in your world, or lag again

how do you know that the colour you see is the same as what other see? what if when you see blue, you see what most people would call green? on topic colour is simply our nerves reacting to electrons. if they want to see colour, get a tooth pick and poke around in their eye, they will all of a sudden see colour (although the pain might make them not care very much)

runescape's 'scary' zones are bacicalyl morytania and the underground pass - both p2p. and they while f2p might get a quest, it wouldn't be the holiday reward, as they always have somehting to prove you were playing then

don't quit, if you are p2p, play castle wars for a couple of days. you can t wear masks there, and it is a very good game to play if you have nothing else to do, a guaranteed 20 mins of doing something, unlike PC's 2 mins of hitting portals
