Yea, supposedly when farming came out, it was rumored to give you a bonus to farming. But it's been proven false for awhile now.

It's used for accepting beneficial spells from other players, such as the teleother and the Lunar healing spells. When on, they can cast those spells on you and you get a confirmation box asking if you accept it, off then they can't cast them on you at all.

gnome scarves can be sold for 400 gp in the gen store, no idea about mint cakes though. Don't have any of those

Also get lunar magic for the super glass spell, when you use it you'll usually get some extra molten glass.

Personally, this makes sense to me. I've never played any other MMORPG that didn't start new characters in a town with a bank. I always wondered why they decided on Lumby, and not Fally or Varrock as the starting point. From a new (meaning they've never played RS before) characters standpoint, it seems kinda pointless to make them travel a good portion of the (free) map just to get to a bank. A starting town should have most of the basics, so that players can get a feel for the game; and no, a 10 minute run through a tutorial, only showing them how to do something, doesn't put it in context when you're playing the game proper. Then when they are comfortable or ready for more, they can move on at their own pace.

The "old" lumby mine has been moved far west of where it was in the swamp. More towards draynor, in the southwest corner of the swamp. Coal, Mith and Addy are there. If you go to the "lost city" quest start, go straight south from there and you will find it.

Well, it's not called a role-playing game for nothing. For some people, the acting out as they would want their character is all part of the game and the fun.

Personally I always thought it was a reference to that animated movie "Madacasgar", with the penquins that kept trying to escape. Never gave it much more of a thought as far as a future plot.

I'm sure that they will up the number of rooms at some point. 20 was probably just a good number to give people a chance to build a large house while making sure that the servers could handle the loads and such. As for new rooms, that would be cool too. Don't have any ideas what kind but I wouldn't mind maybe an "smithing" room (or even an addition to the workshop) with a furnace and anvil.

It's not really 1 mil a week, it just happened that you got it right before a major drop. I bought guthans for around 11 mil at about the time construction came out, so that's a 3 million drop in about 4-5 months. Like others have said, due to supply and demand the only things that can truly raise in price are the rares and other no longer obtainable items. Anything that player can still collect in game currently (and they will each and every day) can only make the price lower. That's exactly how it is supposed to work, and will continue on in the same fashion. Just take this as a lesson and whenever you do buy something, keep that thought in your head that you can spend more to have it now, or wait and hopefully spend less but have to wait to actually own it. Yes, you could have "saved" 1 mill if you had waited, but you don't really know when and by how much these drops will happen. And even then, there will be another price drop at some point and you will have "lost" money then as well.

And I spent around 4 days down there until I got one. It's not a common drop but keep at it and you'll get one.

I don't use veracs, but I use guthans a slayer dart. Here's what I do at barrows. Dharok, Verac, Torag, Guthan and Karil all with dart and wearing guthans and obby shield. But I only pray on Dharok and Verac if they are in their mounds, otherwise I use safespots in the tunnels so I don't use any prayer on them. Karil will sometimes get some good hits on you at that def, so you might want to pray on him too. And torag and guthan don't hit too often. This way you don't use too much prayer pots, and usually won't use too much food. But sometimes they do get some lucky hits, so always bring more food that you'll think you need.

It's a bug with the house tele tablets. Mod Ash stated on the official forums that they are hoping to have it fixed tomorrow. If it requires a server reboot, then it will be fixed with the next update.

I believe I read somewhere on these forums around the time it came out, that mith gloves were the best that pure without getting any def xp could have. I know that you'd have to get def xp for going back to Ape Atoll, and for the lumbridge guide portion, you have to have Nature Spirit done as a requirment. With just those two parts (and not being able to complete the entire thing) would take it down to Addy being the highest, from what I can see. So maybe Addy is the best gloves you can get, unless I'm missing something else in the requirements that gives def xp.

Actually you can use it for unlimited teleports, and if you take it down you get the glory back awesome! time to get 3 more con lvls and mount up a glory! thanks for the info If all you need is 3 levels, if you have the correct items in your kitchen, have your servant make you tea. If it's in a gold trimmed cup, it will bump you up 3 levels temporarily. Or you could do the Eyes of Glouphrie(sp) quest and get the crystal saw that will give you 3 (unseen) levels when you use it to build something in your house.

I was just at metal dragons. I was still getting hit with mage pray on and antifire shield.

Personally, I get a 12 KC each time. But if you're just after barrow armor/weapon drops, then you only need to kill all 6 brothers each time. Nothing else will affect those drops except them. I go for an extra 6 just for to make up the runes and racks I might use on a trip.

I'm still holding out hope for my dragon seed dibbler. But whatever it is, I'm glad they made a point to let us know what they are doing and how things are coming along. I'd like to have a few more of these "under the hood" reports. Not specific details, but the "should have an update later this week, as long as everything works out" is nice so I don't have to wonder each day if they are going to just skip a week or not.

Not sure if it's a constant (I believe it might be), but what you can do is go to your first plot and rake the weeds. Then wait for the first batch of weeds to come back. That will be the start of that cycle. Then hurry and plant and tele all of your seeds. That should get you within the same cycel for all of them.
