  1. You seem to have missed one of the major points of dragon. If you do spend such a huge amount of time combat training in degradeable armor, you can't get it back, it's gone on repairs. Wheras...you can always sell you drag for about the same price you bought it at (market dependant). So...your calculations are kind of screwed, as with one the money is irratrievable, with the other it's just held in assets.
  2. Hmm...I like llyeta and port phasmis. They are both great skilling spots (brewing, smelting, ectoing, flax collecting and spinning, farming, slayer (elves and vamps), thieving, crafting (cow hides from the undead cows)) with easy access to white berry respawns, bow recharges, magic trees, experiments for training, werewolves, slayer tower, barrows etc. They both have easy tele spots, they both are quiet and most often noob free. Nice people usualy hang out there, and llyeta is a nice place for fletching as it's quite pretty and you don't get pestered much. It's also tighter and more quiet in the bank so you can actualy have a decent converstaion with strangers. Moonclan isle is a close competetor with the gems, rcing, decent monsters, magics, banking for rekella, easy access to waterbirth for dags. The only annoything is you have to lose your ammy space or 1 invent space if you intend to talk to anyone -.-
  3. Ok, 66 fishing...10 levels to go. With the 10k monks i will evetualy i fish i should have about 4-6m extra. Then 67: and now 68: With 2k monkfish banked: Which is somewhere between 600k and 1.2m :? (I would love prices confimed on that)
  4. Thanks for the support. I just leveled to 65 fishing today (didn't bother with pic as it's not a big achievment). WIll hopefully be fishing until lvl 76 at pictorialis. I will then cook all 10k+ monkfish for 80+ cooking and hopefully sell for around 5m (burnt ones removed) New bank pic is below. When i get all those monks fished, I will hopefull have enough for d chan, legs + whip:
  5. here's the onnyx bolt effect picture. Just makes a wiered grinding noise :S
  6. z0mg can u say random spam? :shame: z0mg, can you say "that joke went right over his head!"/
  7. Otherwise known as protect from magic prayer?
  8. The Gower Bro's never thought of Pures, they didn't want people to be Pures because it upset the balance of the game and they rewrote the game combat system to try to make up for it. Prayer is used to give those with it an advantage over those who have refuted that skill. I would be very happy to see a horde of new prayers that give us an advantage preferably a distinct advantage and not just another +5% defence. Which is why pures all scream "pray nub" when you pray, because it negates thier unfairly high hits.
  9. read it please?
  10. Note the fact that Naradone calls the creature "Little Healthorg"
  11. Bringing in new items drains money by spreading it to new players. If you get a barrows drop, that's money to you drained from the buyer. The only way to drain money is to put in things like construction, barrows gloves, and reapiring items, such as barrows or crystal equipment. That's currently the only way money is drained from the economy. And the people continue to alch. Death and dropping need to go on that list. If items don't get picked up, they get destroyed. No...because the net money is still in the economy. Only if you died and dropped money would it leave the ecnomy because it would be destoryed. Droping items, not gp, would have no effect on the total money in the economy, unless you had to go buy them off an NPC when you lost them - this way money leaves the economy.
  12. they are trying to get rid of the money in RS, first they made construction that costs tons to lvl up and now the new crossbows onyx bolts cost a fortune! but thats just my opinion...which you never asked for... Thats not draining money, It's transfering it between people. The same amount of money stays withing the economy as a whole. Buying things from shops, and spending money on NPC's is the only way money actualy leaves the game. It's the only way they can "delete" that money from the economy.
  13. 1.5k tokul each from the shop in thazar pits. U dont have to cut the whole onyx gem :) thank god.
  14. Dah. Missed that. Lol ty.
  15. I'm trying to do the sudoku-esque runebox puzzles...i solved about 5 or so, now I cant seem to get any right. Here is a picture of my last attempt...which failed to unlock the chest. And I don't know why! Help me!
  16. If you think lunar magics equals either of those two things... Meleers get...offensive weapons and bonuses Rangers get...offensive weapons and bonuses Magers get...to make super compost easier.
  17. I hope so. I've always had the thought of getting a fire cape at the back of my mind recently. I just need to make a couple of mils so i can afford to do caves without selling my guthans or whip
  18. Jad will count as a firey monster...hes made of lava.
  19. Thank god they are not. I dont want ranger nubs with rubbish mage lvls to get all that power without a lot of hard work.
  20. if you can only make 5 bolts out of 1 d stone...and the chance of hitting it is random like guthans for healing...then it will be a complete waste of time. Just dharoking will be much cheaper and easier.
  21. Range is already a strong wildy skill - mages get a skilling update and rangers get to hit 30+? I doubt even jagex would be that unfair. The max hit of the new x bows will be pretty similar to the c bow i should imagine.
  22. ok..i'm uber board training slayer..160 kaliphites ftw -.- pm meh!
