  1. Honestly, your stats now wouldn't do you much good; best chance for you is either to get 99 attack/strength or 99 strength and ranged. You lack the ko ability for pking with you stats right now, unless you get a lucky spec.
  2. New best of bank, just bought an ags for lulz.
  3. Well, that was an interesting read when I first woke up...
  4. Heh, I got told that if you dropped all your HP capes with hoods, get the other 99 and telegrab them they'd stay untrimmed, but I didn't even test it so I don't know if it is true I doubt it, based on what I've seen before, if you drop your untrimmed cape on the ground and get your 2nd 99 you see it get trimmed on the ground before you even try to take it back. Nope, I did it and it worked to keep my HP cape untrimmed... Up until I forgot to drop it while I got 99 strength. OT: Grats j35u5 on 99 range. You level epically slow, so I missed it. I still beat you though.
  5. ur cute. I'll edit this later with some pvp drops, if I remember. I want an ags, but it keeps going up ;_;. I'm probably going to wait for pvp to get nerfed before I buy it though.
  6. sup toast. i have more brawlers than you lulz.
  7. Oh? Name 10 if there are so many you can't even begin to list them.
  8. Honor has been dead for years now. It's sad, but oh well.. Only way to get a fight where someone doesn't run is to set up a DM with a friend.
  9. I'm going vague at the moment because I want opinions on what a good value should be; should it be 1/5? 1/10? Would it be underpowered? Overpowered? I need opinions. Hm, that's a good point, and because this is mostly for combat-spells, I think I'll add that in. Thanks. However, I disagree with your second point. The main point of this is to help out mages in PvP situations. As I said before, I agree with that point; I'll add it in now, thanks.
  10. Nice contradiction there. Anyways, thanks for the comments; to those who don't like it? Why exactly? What could make it better. Also, if some people could give opinions on what values I should stick to for mage experience gained, amount of runes per, or whether or not to make it per spell or per rune, that'd be appreciated. I'm not quite sure what you meant by the bolded part; could you please elaborate?
  11. So, a lot of people think magic needs a boost compared to melee and range; many times, these arguments come down to cost and inventory spaces taken up by runes. Runes are, as you all know, what enable a mage to cast their spells, but they can be very limiting too. If you run out of runes, well, you have nothing except maybe banging someone with a staff. Runes are also very expensive, with higher leveled spells costing almost 2K a cast. So, I think one of the best ways to help out magic would be to cut out some runes from magic. What about the runecrafting skill, you say? Well, runes will only partly be cut out from magic. You see, my suggestion is that you can go to the (Magic tutor? Someone in the Magic Guild?) and they will offer to teach you how to cast spells without runes. However, doing this will cost you. You will need to give the mage (100K, 500K?) of a type of rune to be able to have infinite uses of that rune. Combo runes will only be able to pay for one type of rune, not both, i.e, you pay 100K dust runes, you have to choose between infinite earths or airs, not both. Also, when you cast spells with no runes you get reduced experience (1/5? 1/8? 1/10? Even less?) to further entice people to use magic the traditional way (with runes) to help make sure runecrafting doesn't go extinct. When you cast spells using runes (there would be a toggle on/off switch in the magic panel if you want to use your infinite runes or not; I'd make a picture but I can't draw for my life) you will get full experience so those training will still buy runes. Also, thanks to a suggestion from zaaps1 & sadukar123, you can only use this feature with combat related runes (Airs, earths, fires, waters, deaths, minds, chaos, bloods, souls, and body). So, that's basically my idea; I'm trying to remove the magic skills dependency on runes; however you can tell I'm trying to decide on some values. I'm also wondering if it should be per rune or per spell; i.e, you pay 100K ice barrages for infinite ice barrage casts, but you don't get infinite waters, deaths or bloods out of that deal too. I'm open to constructive criticism, ideas, and comments, so post away! Also, please give your opinion on some of the values that I'm questioning; that'd be appreciated greatly.
  12. Good luck with RC! I lost interest in it after pure essence rose above 100gp. :P
  13. Hm, I may decide to go for 99 attack via slayer/99 summon via the charms it gives me... Thanks for the post.
  14. Not quite sure what to do next... Atm just tricking to make sum moniez/before its nerfed.
  15. Insane switching skills. Have to agree with that. you were the one who did the 10-item switch too, didn't you? Anyways, very nice vid. I'd love to be able to hybrid that well, guess I just need to practice more.
  16. To go off that, if you plan on slaying, do Smoking Kills quest; it allows you to ban some tasks, claim rewards for doing tasks, including a new slayer helm that combines all the headgear into one, and some other interesting stuff. Also, as was said, godwars is good high-leveled monster hunting; dks are basically dead now. Also, as mentioned before, tricking is a good way to make money now, although slightly "against the spirit of the game." I assume you know theres no more staking/ traditional pking now, so tricking is basically gaining EP (earned potential), normally by wind bolting a friend for two hours, then proceeding to kill each other with the person doing the killing holding at least 76K worth of items, and the person dying losing at least 25K, but most of the time 26K. Just make sure to look out for all the new weapons; godswords hit in the 70s, and dragon claws hit 4 times in one attack turn, so its like having 2 dds'ers on you at once. But yeah, I remember seeing you around years ago. Welcome back to 'Scape!
  17. Alright, thanks a lot for that. Now I just need to go practice my prayer switching again, and it's time for a few more fire capes.
  18. Awesome, I was hoping you'd post, thanks a lot for that. Any idea how many bolt racks you used?
  19. Alright, I'll try that; Any else have ideas?
  20. Lol'd at the way you spelled that. Anyways, good luck to her with her studies.
