I hesitate it add this. Merchanters arn't the only reason that prices are rising, inflation is also causing this. I don't have any statistics to back this up but, as people high alch things more gp is bought into the economy, because of this the value of a single gp drops. This will meen that more gp is needed than a year ago to buy someting of the same value. The reason people buy rares or invest in items is because they hold their value. I do agree that merchanters cause prices to rise but i am just stating another reason that prices are increasing.

One thing you use a pully beam not a normal beam as the crossbar. Also the smaler snakes were non agressive to me and im only lvl 80 combat.
