Actualy the term hack means to gain unlawful access to a computer, file, or a game account etc. this can be done by any means, the process of tryping in random words to try and log on to a runescape account can be classed as hacking.

At least you only lost 200k worth of stuff. better Luck next time.

Taxes in a game?! Thats one of the worst ideas i've ever heard. If you think about it if someone stops playing for a while their having money deducted for no reason. It would imposible to deduct taxes because if it is taken from the bank then people would withdraw gp from the bank on tax day. As a final note in rl taxes are put back into the economy.

Just a thought about the enchanted pickaxe soloution. Say if you used a normal pickaxe you could only mine normal ess. However lets say when you get to a high enough runecrafting lvl you would be able to do a subquest that enabled you to buy an enchanted pickaxe that would mine pure ess. I think this would be a better way to implement this soloution.

I dont know if this has already been posted but, ALWAYS leave a shifter directly south of the void knight, as this will block ALL the ranged monsters to the south and make defending a lot easyer. Also it's BELIEVED that using special attacks on the portals CAN make spinners appear, though this is JUST THEORY and has NOT been proved.

The ess macroers dont realy bother me because their presence doesn't stop me getting the ess and I dont sell or buy ess. What realy bothers me is the mining ones. They can stop me geting the ore that I want and thereby slowing me down.

I think this should be in help and advice. However here's a good hint stop spending the earnings as soon as you get them.

lol this is great i've told loads of people on runescape how to do it.

The first quest i did was druidic ritual. After that i went over white wolf mountain took the long route though. Then i finished off the f2p quests.

It has got to be the other way around. If you think about it the player mods don't get paid, so jagex will have no reason to stop them being mods unless they are unfairly muting/reporting people. And also why would jagex want their staff mods to ban inosent players if those players are the back bone of the game. I see that you could be angry though, my friend got temp banned for according to him "no reason" he was very angry.

that would be stupid the point of notes is that you dont have the item in your inv just a not from the bank promising on demand to give you x amount of x item. so you cant use the note for anything but that.

In the future IF POHs come out I think they may come out IF carpentry comes out. You would use your carpentry skill to build your own house on a plot of land. Then you would have space for a garden. I think you should then be able to buy via a delivery service items such as a range, sink, bed, chest for storing independant of your bank and so on, different types of items like if your rich a realy good bed. Or using carpentry again make your own items you could even make a bed if you have enough feathers. Now for the garden you could have a tree, flowers and your choice of farming patch. So what would you have? For me. As standard; range, sink, best bed I could buy, storage chest suit of armour, a wardrobe for clothes and of course a table. In the garden just to be posh I would take a white tree cutting and grow it in a tree patch, my own personalised flower bed, and a pond.
