Call it luck, but the first time i ever went kalphite with a team we got a chain... my 2 real life friends they are twins irl... we all went with veracs and one brother got a chain... he was so rich and i was poor yet he didnt tell me (this was when chains were 35 mill) anyways he hid it from me and his real life brother and we found out 2 months later so i made him give me 15 mill :lol:

I dont believe it. You NEED guthans for this trust me. Its impossible without guthans and 80 range. I do not believe for one second anyone lower than 85 has a cape. I don't wana spoil you'r party but i just seen someone with combat 83 walking round with a fire cape. Again, until I see a pic or I see it for myself I will not believe it. This takes at least 1 and a half hours, guthans, 80 range, plus brains. No average joe can do this, especially lower than 85 combat. You NEED guthans i don't know how much more i can stress that. You do not have room for any food, i was idiotic to bring 6 sharks because I still had 2 left over at the end, which could of been prayer potions. I do not believe anyone who tells me they've seen 83's or 74's without guthans(LOL) have a fire cape, I always look for fire capes and tell the person with it on "great job" and if you have a cape (especially at a low level) I gaurentee he would wear it everywhere. Proof please.

Takes about 1500 bolts and karils crossbow, i used full guthans with rune boots and obby cape, with my black vambs on. Kept my x-bow, d-hide legs and body 1 range pot 1 super defence, 6 sharks and 19 prayer pots, had I brought 1 less shark and 1 more pray pot, I may have completed it. High range is a must.

No pic, no proof. PLUS guthans is a must for this. Believe that.

No I Didn't cry. I should. I really, really should. In the last 2 days I've spent well over 1 million cash on bolt racks for my Karil's Crossbow in my attempts to be the lowest level ever to obtain the sought-out for Fire Cape. My first three attempts, were only warm-ups, tonight I knew it was for real, I felt the vibe, I knew I was going to make it far. As you can see in the picture I am a high level mage and ranger, I was a pure until I made enough money to comfortably have full guthans, full veracs, full ahrims, a whip, cash left over, plus my rares which are still currently rising. I am 85 combat with 77 hp. I killed this last level 360, he is orange which indicates hes the last one. I was out of pray potions almost immeadietly after I killed him. I knew I would die and the boss 1 hit me for a 65. I know it will come soon, but its 4 A.M. here in Ontario and unless I wanted to stay up until 6 A.M. (which I don't) then I'll have to wait another day. This is the most fun I've had in runescape that hasnt involved pking or staking. I cannot wait until I have MY fire cape. I want to see a pic of the 82 or 83 with fire cape, I believe I will be the lowest level with fire cape, on my way to 70 defence at the moment, have guthans and anything need waiting for me. I'll read the guide a couple times and give it a go, and I won't get 86 combat or anything until i have my fire cape. Also im 86 mage, 83 range will be 85 combat with 76 hp
