Slayer dart is affected by mage +Ahrims is mainly only for karlis. You can sub ahrims with a whip and att and str pots if you like to take him down faster. Which is what i tend too do now, and just mage in guthans and melee karlis.

No, getting the firecape is difficult because you have to multi task. (Shoot the healers, mdrink potions, shoot Jad all at once.If there was a prayer protecting all damadge then yes. Jads range defense is awful as it is, getting to Jad is the easy part, getting to the healers is pretty damn easy. After that it gets very hard. And range prayer won'tdo a damn thing. Maybe magic will be useful for pures doing it with blood barrarge.
