  1. I have 2 Chinchompas Fletching maple shorts I'm looking forward to a 3rd age plate :)
  2. Well you can't just blame the common person for deciding "Hey, I'll donate to AIDS instead of malaria because then I have a less chance of getting a disease/virus". You see companies and government organizations everywhere advertising to donate for AIDS, while things like malaria don't get as much spotlight and less people know about it. Anyway, that was a good read, and I'm looking forward to the next 4.
  3. If it doesn't say letter for letter, common sense would say it was the other option without needing to ask 8-) No, it's not common sense, and there are many different options, not just 2. That statement made no sense, don't try arguing it. The point is, china is not true communism, it's not even close. It fails most of the characteristics of a communism, and there isn't a country in the world that is truly communistic, Cuba is the closest one, and it still a good way off.
  4. Is it that hard to lift a couple of fingers and take a trip to dictionary.com? Exactly what I typed, no need to read in to things. I quoted what you typed, and what you typed was very unclear.
  5. I voted for seers, mind explaining what about the decision made me an idiot?
  6. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gay_bomb "non-lethal"? If i was ever hit by one of those, I would be traumatized for life. Russia was a powerful militaristic Communist state from 1917-1990. that was on the otherside of the cold war along with china vs. Western nations : CHina was a strong COmmunist state after her civil war to mid 60's, when she departed from Russia Cambodia, North Korea, Vietnam and Cuba were "minor scale" Communist nations. SIgh death for so many people... (btw Mao in the "Evil 100" Hitler, Stalin and Mao are ranked respectively) ...for 15 years of my young life...i thought my leader..Mao was great (long live chairman Mao)...disappointing he was talking about true communistic countries. Everybody knows about communism, and there are several communistic countries in the world today, such as China, North Korea, and Cuba. But none of them even come close to truly communistic, they're just countries ruled by dictators, with some communistic characteristics. doesn't say much. Are you saying that people can generally explain what 25% of what they heard was about, or recite 25% of the words letter by letter?
  7. That was a great thread, I learned more from that one post in a few minutes, than I did in the past 3 weeks of school  A toast to you for making OT all so interesting.
  8. According to suicide statistics, Monday is the preffered day for self destruction.
  9. were all still confused about what this "game world" its.
  10. I like this thread because there's lots i can learn about my fellow OTers here 8-)
  11. kill_thomas, you're making me laugh hard
  12. a lot of people are good in photoshop, and have no chance of getting a job with it. being okay won't get you anywhere. Find a job in the local grocery store or a Mcdonalds, although you are not in the legal working age for most developed countries, so you're screwed. Mind telling us what you need the money for?
  13. two weeks doesn't say much, what do you expect us to do those 2 weeks, play without sleep? otherwise, nice guide.
  14. Assuming you're talking to me, stop being an [wagon].
  15. theres nothing wrong with eating chicken, it's a part of the circle if life, wolves eat rabbits, rabbits eat plants, bigger fish eat smaller fish, humans eat chicken, ect... I value my life a lot more than chicken, chicken is something I eat, while humans are not something to be raped.
  16. and nutritious! =P~
  17. this thread is pretty much meaningless, made by some ignorant kid who has no idea what living without society is like, and is taking his current life for granted. I don't know about you, but I find my life very fun, i live in a nice home, plenty of food, computer, tv, friends, ect.. I'm having a lot of fun, and you can go cut yourself.
  18. can you imagine how generals in war will be planning their tactics once this comes into the battlefield??? anyway, this is a great topic, and lot's to learn here, and to think moores law will wear off way back in 2020? considering how fast our technolodgy is advancing thats an incredibly long time! In 10 years technology will be advancing a hundred times faster than today! and we will have another 3 years before it will wear off? This future is far more unpredictable than anyone can imagine. The only thing I'm afraid of is the incredibly realistic mmo's, today kids are becoming obsessed with games such as runescape and wow, in the future we will just make a whole new world for ourselves, and there will no longer be a need for reality, these kids will never want to leave.
  19. I don't understand why you would class them together like that, macros are rule breakers that keep coming back to break more rules, while these guys are normal players, just with some tough luck.
  20. yea I understand that, but it would become very messy and have a lot of teleports most people don't have, i prefer sticking to the simple distance list. Not bad of an idea tho.
  21. this is looking interesting :-k and i really like the banners on top of each section. But what happened to my third market article? oh well, I'd better see it in the next issue

What I think you're trying to say is that if you forget about what happened then you don't really hate the person, just dislike him/her. While hate is something that remains with you for a while. If used seriously, hate is a very strong word indeed, and i do have someone I hate, i doubt many people seriously do.
  23. So the best thing the UN can do is buy them back? Well I didn't know this was happening either, and what this is really making me question is what the world knows. Todays protests are mainly about stem cell research (oh no lifeless embryos are being killed even though they will be destroyed anyway!), animal cruelty, kfc? You see that everywhere nowadays, yet most of us here have not heard about this sex market until you told us about it. Seems far more cruel than animal cruelty, I'd rather be butchered like a pig than perform "mental suicide." We should all care less for animals and more for humans. When there are no injustices among humans let's start caring for the animals. I can promise that I'll protest for the mosquito's right to suck blood when all humans are treated with dignity, fairness and respect. No need to be an [wagon]. I never said animal rights are more important than human rights and I most certainly never labelled human rights insignificant. You seem to do that to animals though. [wagon]. nice irony moron. So far I've seen you do nothing but make an idiot of yourself on OT, do yourself and everyone else a favour and shut the [bleep] up, and stop insulting everyone you disagree with. Then if we are able to justify not forcing our values on people, it would imply that we believe not forcing our values on people is the right thing to do? why did this even turn into a discussion about cultural values? theres a dig difference in people having different beliefs/morals, and people doing something simply cruel and inhumane. I personally believe that all humans follow an equal set of moral boundaries, that should not be crossed no matter what your beliefs are, and no matter how you were raised. These boundaries being killing a fellow human for personal gain, or human trafficking, ect... anyway, you can't use culture as an excuse for this.
