I'll disagree with that. I don't see why FDR was considered so great of a president, he kept us in the depression a lot longer than needed. It would have lasted even longer if we didn't get involved in WWII. He actually may have known about the Pearl Harbor attack before it happened, but let it happen in order to get the US into WWII, which stimulated the economy out of the depression. All of his economic policies that he put into place got the credit for getting us out of the depression, when they probably caused it to last a lot longer. you are kidding right? If it weren't for him, the US could have been stuck in depression for another 20 years. The policies obviously got the country out of it, do you actually think everything would have recovered on its own without Roosevelt? Thats what Taft did, and he became the least popular president in the US.

I doubt it. I think the only reason the fire cape was called what it is, is because of it's origins (thzaar). I also don't think the cape was made to be one part of multiple achievements, but rather one ultimate achievement. Don't we already have enough capes anyway?

(America was witnessing the Europeans and Asians getting annihlated by the Axis, yet they just sent war goods without declearing war) The attack on Pearl Harbour only sunk 14 warships and about 4000 casualties (very minimal compared to how the Europeans and Asians are getting slaughtered) Its obvious that the Attack could be avoided, since America probably wont distrub Japan. This is because when Japan invaded Philipines, America didnt even declare war. point? How in the world is that small? Those are some insane casualties from just 2800 kamikazes. Those numbers show that every kamikaze killed almost two enemy soldiers! Plus sinking of 34 ships and damaging 368 others? Those kamikazes were a much bigger pain in the [wagon] for the Americans than I thought, thank you very much for proving my point.

Like all other posts on this thread, this one made me laugh as well. Understand that you could have an IQ of 10 and score a 250 on an online test. In fact the lower your iq is, the better chance you have of being ripped off as long as you get a high score XD

The online IQ tests are completely false, their goal is for you to score good, get all exited, and buy the "complete analysis" for $10. You can have an iq of 80 and score a 130 on those tests. Are you freakin' kidding me? Even the smartest person in the world has less than that IQ and has an IQ about 280. No way... no way...That's one messed up IQ test :XD: Btw, a fun fact: Having 200+ iq means you have photographic memory, and never forget a single bit of you life. This means that you remember every single thing you saw, touched, heard, tasted, and smelled, everything. Well actually every single person does that, even the most mentally [developmentally delayed]ed ones with iqs below 50. Our iq determines our brain power, and how well we can bring these memories up, and the average person with the iq of 100 is unable to bring up 99.9999% of their life. I think you've become spoiled and really don't know how to enjoy your current life. I live in a family richer then the rest of about 99.5-99.9% of the world, and richer then maybe half of Toronto. In these conditions I am taking none for granted, you just have no idea what life was like either 80 years ago, or elsewhere in the world. You have to realize the opportunities you have, opportunities to enjoy life more. If only you knew how to do that, in our great and lucky society, nothing would get in your way of happiness (except occasional crime). I don't exactly live in fairy tale land either, my parents fight, all sorts of troubles come up in places least expected. But at the end of the day I realize how lucky I am to have the opportunity to change all of that, something about 70-80% of the world can't do, or finds it very difficult. Lets do the math. Shantay pass: First let's make an educated guess. I would say on one single server, a person passes through about every 3 minutes. Because the desert isn't that popular, and some people use teleports. 60/3= 20, so 20 people pass every hour. 20x24= 480, 480x365= 175,200x5= 876,000. This means that the Shantay pass makes 876k a year from the passes alone on a single server. I am excluding all the quest releases which draw at least a hundred thousand players in the first day. There are 64 p2p worlds, 876kx64= 56,064,000. Shantay isn't that poor eh? :-k If you disagree with the idea that a person passes through ever 3 minutes, change the value, heres the equasion for you: Let Y be the number of minutes that pass every time a person goes through the pass. Let X be the amount of money the Shantay pass makes every year, assuming there are no new servers added. 60/Yx24x365x5x65=X If you want to find the money they make at different amount if times, just alter the equation. For example, if you just want to know the daily values, take out the 365, If you want to know the monthly values, take the same number and multiply it by 30. It's pretty much common sense I'm sure. I would say the richest npc is either the stone mason, or better yet, the guy that repairs your barrow items.

well Ive caught 25k sharks, and around 90k lobs (I'm 99 fishing now), but only the the sharks and about 20k of the lobs went towards cooking, I bought the previous of my cooking lvl before my fishing exceeded lvl 70. I also have 99 wc and fletch, I chopped all of my fletching things.

But you might be right................IDK :shock: name one other skill that was easier in classic. OH and name any quest that was easier too. Um...every quest? and mining today has granite rocks, which I believe is the current fastest method. But mining is indeed the skill that was changed the least since rsc, In fact, since there's no longer auto drop, it isn't much easier. All there is are the granite rocks, and more close spots. I also remember when nobody had 99 prayer :shock: it used to be such a godly skill, but today, with gilded altars, and dragons so easy to kill, you just dump a ton of cash into it and that's all.

Well the stat look up is completely pointless when you can go to the high scores on the same site "boohooo 2 extra clicks!". The calculators would just be messed up, why would jagex make their own game completely readable back and forth? and it would pretty much eliminate the use of fan sites besides the quest guides. Anyway, I don't understand the point of swift switch at all, does it really kill you to make 2-3 extra clicks? Kids these days.

I agree that the feel of runescape changes a lot, when I first played runescape it was very exiting and mysterious, and obviously, like everything else, the excitement wears off as you play longer (you think its different anywhere else in the world?). But I still like runescape a lot, that initial excitement about runescape wears off in just a few months, but after that it stays just as fun for years to come. I enjoy runescape just as much as I did a year ago, and although I take it less seriously, and become less competitive, I don't think it has anything to do with the game itself or how long I've played it for. I think it's just me as a person outside of runescape is maturing and becoming less competitive and serious about games. Anyway, runescape has been a great game the entire 4 years I have been playing for :)

Yep the media is very often biased, and the problem with every media outlet, is the topics they choose to report on. There are topics media usually wastes way too much time on (remember John Mark Carr? [sp?]), and topics that are just so important, yet are left un reported. I also completely agree on the part about politics. In fact, I find that far more sickening. Remember the party election in November? My god, I have never seen something more disturbing.... Not a single candidate as far as i remember has said anything about what exactly they would do when they would go to office, and why they are the correct choice. All of the political ads were about bashing their opponents, and not a single ad I saw said anything about the strengths of the candidate that funded that ad, I knew nothing about him/her, nothing at all. The same thing has spread to local politics as well. At the end of last year I was listening to the radio when a political ad for the local governor election came up, and all I hear was flaming of the the opponent. All the ad was about was some very unlikely drug use and drunk driving accusations of the other side, that made it obvious that some guy sat down for a day, and found some evidence about these charges, and once the chances of these accusations being true went above .5%, they put it in the ad. In the end of it all, I learned nothing about the candidate that funded this ad.

That's a no-brainer, get the sword :twisted: it looks amazing. and even though it's non-combat, imagine coming up to a bunch of thugs with one of those lit up, they would run for their lives XD

It probably will work in the future, once humans develop technology so advanced, that humans will no longer even be necessary for work, and just sit back and let the machines to do everything. It would be a pretty boring world though :-k
