  1. First of all: It looks good : Well the second thing i would like to say is that the arms and the part from the shoulder down on the left side of the body looks extremely flat. Because you haven't used really darker colors on her right arm, it has become just like a piece of paper :? The reason why it's so flat is because of the lack of really dark colors. On a position like this, there always should be a large shadow on the part of her arm next to the body. Also the body just ends in 1 dark color, what is unlikely, because there should be more light since the arm is also very light on that side. Third of all, it still looks good, and i hope the part above ^might help with your next piece : (also please tell me if you don't understand me since i'm not very good in english... :P )
  2. I would take that as a no then. http://www.tizag.com/htmlT/htmldiv.php I never use the DIV tag in HTML, maybe Im just used to style sheets, they seem easier. Really, believe me, they aren't much harder ;) And this site is quite good in explaining and showing examples, it also helped me out with some problems with css and html earlier... : And for the portfolio, for a first one it looks quite good, but i would say that especially around the text/news boxes it's quite plain. Try out some combinations and look if you can make the boxes more attractive (for example: image backgrounds with low opacity, different borders (colors etc...)). Just look around for idea's on other websites i'd say :

  5. What kind of extra options? More options like this if you untherstand it: \||\|| \= spacebar, |=a square \\|\\| \= spacebar, |=a square \*\*\* \=spacebar, *=a dot \\*\\* \=spacebar, *=a dot This is just a variation that you could change, however i'm not sure if anyone would use it lol :P and maybe some other variations like small objects (for exemple: a leaf brush in photoshop, leaf-space-leaf). still a great program yet  :

This is the first attempt at making a signature using my old technique in about 4-6 months i had to search a lot of things and i haven't found all of them i think. Newest (v3): [hide=older versions] V1: V2: [/hide] c/c and suggestions are greatly appreciated : .
  10. i was already waiting until you finally posted some more paintings, and i got to say i love the peacock feathers : great work on these and i hope you'll make or just post more paintings on the forums :
  11. - When you use the HSB color selection, you need to scroll along the different colors, but i personally find it annoying that the colors in the left part don't change automatically along the colors on the scroll... (if u don't understand it please say so and i'll try to explain it a bit better.) - A bucket tool would be handful. - The possibility to make both the eraser tool and the pencil tool square or round. - More options for the Dashed Brush tool. - Make the option for the people that they can resize or enlarge the screen :P (something like the middle button in the right top on webpage browsers (the 1 or 2 windows)) - Make the color frame a bit lower.. it takes a lot of space were you otherwise could draw  well that were a few points i noticed quickly... Also i wan't to say i love the program and the lay-out and i can't wait for v2 :)
  12. lol nadril already said all you can about this  You really should think about making tuts about your works :
  13. Thanks for sharing the vid : I have seen alot of things is use in my more recent sigs to and some things that like you've mentioned could be better visable in a tutorial lol :P also: maybe upload the psd's so people can see the actual way you've done it?
  14. 16. i love the vid and the stats... also lol for the ranger guy: I'm the one who teles. <- 3 hits and dead  goodluck with the money and with pk ing :
  17. it looks good, except the black shadows.. they are just not fitting in it (i know they are 2d and the rest of the piece isn't). and are you gonna enter a scene made with terragen, photoshop and maybe something else to that photoshop competition? lol or just for a part.. :P
  18. well lets say i improved on everything... :-w lol i just saw pictures like the ones from mxm and some others and i try'd it out... lol :P edit: my first graphic all time #-o jaff, i also remember that sig u made for yourself :P you made a request for a sig with that link in it and i made you one lol.. then u also made 1 yourself :o

Ok, i made a few applies to your v4 to let you see what i realy meant by a gray/blue color and the other things. Also on top there are 5 color blocks that are an example color for the darkbow. i know the colors aren't right but its just meant to let you see what dark/light i mean. so here is it: just save it and compare it to your version and you will notice some other chances with color. I hope this helps a bit more, and if u still don't understand things just ask it :
  20. that are some really nice pictures there LP  i can remember a lot of your artwork, also your paintings (do you still make those?) and your love for hearts artwork lol :P I hope u make some (?more) videos to show us how you work.

well there are a lot points u can work on. But thats normal for a first pixel, since its a hard type of graphics to learn. [hide=click here for the c/c] I start with a few that really bother me: * You have chosen for a eye burning green as a background when you're working, but u can better chose a softer color, like gray/blue or something that doesn't comes out much. * You just started with drawing colored lines and shading, and not with the basic linework. Also i would recommend starting with a bigger person, because you have to draw and shade a bigger part of the person and the other parts, and you can put more detail in them. Especially with 1 of your first pixels its hard to put a lot of detail in a small piece. A good size is for exemple 300px width and 125-150 px height. * When i look at your color scheme you only picked out light colors and not really dark ones. That way you will have a much more realistic look when u shade good. *note my next point* * The shading. Your shading is pile shading, what actually means that you just take a light color and then go stripe for stripe darker. It can be a good shading technique on some things when done right, but it isn't really helpful in the begin. I recommend the beginner pixel tutorial from Terley in the FAQ or any other shading tutorial for pixels on this forums. Also you can go to this site for shading tutorials and anatomy tutorials. [/hide] This are just a few things. If you would like some more advice/help or don't understand something, just ask it :

no i don't =) thanks for the criticism, a few things: i rendered this picture myself, because my friend just gave me 2 pics to use. I had to render out 1 and i chose to use the other 1 for the background. Also the render is only faded by the layer i used to give an bit of a effect to it  and about the text... your pretty much right, exept for the point he said to use this font  . and i didn't knew what to do with a border, so i just did something... on the piece he uses it already doesn't exists annymore, since he said almost the same :anxious: thanks for the comment, its helpfull and i'll try to work a bit on the things u said

come on! 60 views and only 1 reply? is it that bad? :uhh:
  25. welcome back junction (quer), i remember a lot of your old pixels, and your c/c to other persons that helped alot. So good to see you again :(i don't think you remember me :P) well for the pixel, the head of grunt is a bit small and his arms look a bit short to me. As far for the other person, the linework looks nice, and the colors fit good to the scene. I hope u learn your shading techniques again, because they were awsome :XD:
