  1. That's what the "About me" page is for. Info on how to get in contact with me, ect. yes, but you can give a small description about yourself? For example a small bar or something with a short discription about what you do? The why you do it part van be done in the "About me" page? :) And Pat_61, HTML can't send mails by itself. It is just a language to make forms, since websites are actually one big form if you look good. You have to use PHP/asp to send an e-mail on a website ;)
  2. I got the time and the weather tomorrow, so i'm planning on having a "photoshoot" in my garden lol
  3. I can give you some links to simple html/css dropdown boxes, for example this is a very helpfull tutorial, on which i based my own css dropdown: http://www.projectseven.com/tutorials/navigation/auto_hide/ Also you don't have to use java for the dropdown, unless you mean javascript with java, since you only need a few lines of simple javascript to create a great dropdown :) also goodluck with the portfolio ;)
  4. I like it, but why does the font have to be so HUGE? It just takes a lot of unnecessary space, and I assume the most visitors of the website can read this font size   The big black lines which seperate the parts, could be a less thick :) About the coding: I agree with dsavi about the (X)HTML and the CSS, because it enables a lot more people to go through the site, without downloading a large swf file. Have you ever thought about using javascript in the design? I'd personally advise taking a look Jquery, since it's a simple, yet very powerfull javascript plug-in. For example: you could do that photogallery with a simple plug-in of jquery without the whole mess in flash. Like the Jcarousel plugin. If you need help with the coding, or something else, just ask :D
  5. I finally have enough time again to do something like photography, so I think I'll enter this competition : Nice to see there still are competitions running, and see some old familiar faces :D
  6. picto was awsome yeah : that was another vanomai production i thought :geek: This game sounds awsome and I think that everybody in here would like to test the betà (if you ever get there :P I hope so... :) ) Hope to see some more updates on this soon :
  7. lol? 2/3m? i made it from 1 to 68 sum with 3m :o and it wasn't the cheapest way :P Nice level, i'm aiming for it myself atm :

Very nice pixel, and however everybody is saying that the arrows is facing the wrong direction, isn't it possible that the person was facing the ranger when he was shot? :P
  9. rik replied to dsavi's topic in Art and Media
Nice to see a update on this : This version looks smoother, and just better overal :P There's not a lot c/c that i can give, except: When you make a test-forum, make sure there is 1 part of the forum where guests can reply, so that they can see what that looks like :) So good job on this one : I try'd 4 browsers and it actually worked (quite) properly on all 4 of them :)
  10. is it still going on or...?
  11. Good point :P Personally I have always tried to help as much as I can, since the most people who actually try to help deserve the same back imo :) Another thing: I'm back on the forums, so expect way to much c/c on the pixels
  12. Is it still possible to enter? if so, put me on : I was already planning on making a christmas theme pixel sigge, but now I have a reason to actually finish it and put more time in it

already heard the news a time ago, this is also becoming the final CS version if i understand it right... <-- not 100% sure of that :? also it's a great update, especially the 3d is amazing :o . might gonna buy it when it is a bit cheaper
  20. AAARGG!!!! html table lay-out :ohnoes: Here's a tip: table lay-outs are not always very stable, unless you're a genius with css and html error fixing :( it can work really well, but I'd recommand you to use 's and (ol) instead of 's. If you don't mind i'll give you a small exsample (i'll post again in a few hours) as far as the design: i think you have used a very specific tutorial i know :P It looks clean and simple, but 1 more question: you could also use the pictures on your own page in stead of the deviantart page, it's a lot user friendly for the people who use it.

euhm, 1 question: do you mind if I change some of the html/css of that website design? To be honest it's terrible to have to chose your screen width + you don't cover a lot different choises :P
  22. rik replied to Toad's topic in Art and Media
If the first 2 are accurate, i'm out of here :ohnoes: Ot: they're not bad like terley said, but like Terley said, you must have huge lips if the second is only a little accurate :o :P
  23. you're not just a bird :o , you're a staravia
