well after a period of time again, i thought i'd post something here. This isn't realy hard to make, but it was meant to be simple yet fitting the theme and the colors. Also if your wondering why everything is a bit covered: this was meant to look like this is what u see through the eyes of another person. so i made this in about 10-15 minutes with a render and a stock: please tell me if i spelled the whole name of it wrong :-k I've also made a few minutes work site to show you how it could look like. (nothing special or so, because i made all off this -header+other design+site- in less then 30 minutes) Click here for the site comments please :

I really like the outcome of the design. There's just 1 thing i noticed that is wrong: with the business card you have 2 the same side's but with other text on it :P

I could use some of those trips when i have turoths as asignment :-w off-topic: Are you dutch? (because of the names with live messenger :P )

looks good so far, but i got a few things that maybe could be done another way: * Only the first step of the stairway is done with more detail, and the others steps not really. * The light colour on the lowest part of the clouds looks rare to me, since its dark-light and nothing between them. *The sea could use a bit more lighter-darker colours, but thats just my opinion. Nothing else really... I hope it turns out really good :wink:

i agree with ThruItAll, but i would also say that the border could use some more work, because this border make the sig look to plain and empty somehow. keep up the good work :

thanks, and i'm making a V3 atm, and for a chance i can place the text in the center to let you see how that would look :wink: and everyone else thanks for the c/c i'm using it for V3 : also anny suggestions about the border? or is this good enough? EDIT: added a V3, i haven't done to much to it, but (i hope) u can see the border is a bit lighter on some places, so u know its around 3 of the 4 sides of the header. Also i have added the letters RB to it somewhere.. the one who finds it gets a cookie :P

Hi again.. some may have seen that i'm back after a period of time, because of vacation, school and some hobby's that took alot of time. Well about this piece: i haven't work with photoshop for about 2/3 months i think, so i had to discover all the tools again :P A friend asked me for banner that would fit his site and the only thing he gave me was the render that is on this piece and a colorscheme: dark blue/green. so after about 30 mins of work: V1 (not to good quality but animated): V2 (good quality but not animated): V3: C/C please, and no i haven't used brushes if u start about that -.-

search for his rs name in the highscores and u will see they actualy are his stats :wink: ontopic: nice stats : and gl with your goals :)

you realy should use the first version with the border of V2 and another font type. This font type + color stand out to much and the font type is not readable from a larger distance :wink: Also the reason why not v2: without the background the render stand out a bit to much. also the background could maybe have a little less opacity, so the effect of it still works but that its a bit more neutral (forgive me for my pretty worse english...). Rik Also just give a reaction if u don't know what i mean, i'll try to be a little more specific then :wink:

well.. since i already was affraid u would say i was flaming.. i didn't had the slightest intention. And i thought that i only would say to remove the text you would react why, and now i have given my opinion already instead of later... and as far as some of my work wait until later the weak to see my newest peace. I normaly don't post here since i only make it for my own forum but since you wan't it ill post it. and if u think i'm an 20 year old student flaming you.. i'm 14 i have 4 year of graphics yet... so i have an reason to give some c/c... and if i wanted to not give u a break i already have been spamming and flaming about this beginning piece since there is an advise in the FAQ that sais to not post your first work since the most of the times it get flamed dead.

[hide=reaction on the text in this topic] :shock: thats because ur not (please don't take this serious, but why are saying your so full of yourself? u only get flamed because of it) an advise for your next topic: don't say your talented, because most of the people hate it when someone here sais that who hasn't reached their level of art yet :roll: :wink: (admins please contact me if i need to remove this.. i only said it as an advise)[/hide] wel some c/c: * The shading is just pile shading what means that u put in a color, then a more darker color and then 1 or 2 more darker colors that are in a curved line untherneath or next to eachother. Look for some other shading techniques since this is pretty much the most worse looking way of shading... An tip: go look for tutorials for exemple here or just in the faq section of this forum. * Sometimes its better to use the curved line tool for exemple on the death altar. Because after u got the curved line u can chance it a bit but u still have the circular shape. * Try to look for an tutorial on aa'ing what means anti aliasing. If u do not know what that is i can tell it in a short way: you have a front colour and a background colour. Go get colours between these 2 colors and then place it around the front colour to get and smoother effect. This for exemple is realy handy for the red u used on the pillars in the background. well i hope u don't take my comment in the hide part serious exept the advise and i hope that i've helped you a bit on your way :

i was the one mentioning it, and that was already after they quit giving it for free... but u still can download it on the net, but i don't know if u still can install it since everyone could got online a free code via daz3d's site... so if u got the programm, u maybe still cannot use it #-o :-k :-w

let me guess: you downloaded bryce 5.5 for free, didn't you? :P (i did.. why spend money on it :lol: ) ontopic: it looks nice but it isn't that hard to make...

for shading and coloring... i could help out, but i will leave in 2 days or maybe a day later and will be gone for another 2 weeks then.. so in about.. 18 days i could help :wink:

he didn't started a new shop, he's just making a few new tags/sigs :wink: so if he don't makes annything or stops making them he also didn't closed his shop... :P

I agree with everyone... congratulations again. I don't think there are other people who have 2 pieces of art in the Player's Gallery :-k =D>

great to see your personal gallery is back, just like you : I think your work still looks great, but i noticed something on your newest painting: The lower part (everything unther the chest) is turned a way that would hurt insane :anxious: maybe a thing... No other real critism, so go on and keep making and posting your work here :
