Don't mean to get picky here, but post count means nothing. Actually it does, as much as we want to think it doesn't.

Well, sometimes a band makes a little trip to another genre as well. And out of that trip sometimes comes something that is different to what they have made earlier. So I guess it's perfecly possible that some songs would fall in the DEATH METAL genre, where others don't. It's like Steely Dan, they have some rock tracks, but they also have some jazz tracks. It would be weird as well if the genre would be the band itself. What if Necrophagist would make a rap song, just one. Then you wouldn't call it DEATH METAL, right? But you wouldn't call them a rap group either. So what is it? A rap song by a Death Metal band. And now it would be a Death Metal song by a Power Metal band. Well its not like Bodom is playing jazz or anything, they don't play death metal, never have. You evidentally don't listen to much COB... Judas Priest didn't play all speed metal. The ballad "Angel" was alternitive. "Breaking the Law" is rock N' roll, not speed metal... Thanks for bailing me out, Nadril, I was waiting for you to come by. How2PK, nope not a bad day at all, I just get acutely frustrated with people that label music incorrectly (especially metal). These people know more about metal than you, most of them know more than even me! Type in Children of Bodom, observe that they are in no way associated with death metal. Then look at a band like Behemoth. Clearly death metal, the sounds are drastically different. Bodom is far too melodic and fast to be labeled death metal. I won't lie, it seems to be a trend amongst newbie metalheads to call all of these bands "death metal". I suppose its what people do before they learn of power/black/doom/folk and all the other, more specific, subgenres. COB had their neo-classical moments back in their early days, but have strayed no farther towards any other genre in the decade of their conception. And I know more about Bodom's past, present, and future than you ever will, and don't need a sig to prove it.

(I'm a certified MECP installer) Chances are the head unit itself is just shot, although its worth a shot to pull it out and make sure the wiring harness hasn't wiggled loose ever-so-much.

Awkward stage indeed, and its quite a quest with people with curly, wavy hair like us. I tried it myself, once it got past my shoulders it was just too "big" to not straighten, and straightening it took time, and just felt really icky.

Something gimmicky and useless like the recent ones.

Easily when I was online before school at about 6AM several years ago. Noone else was around and The easter eggs were dropped! I grabbed several dozen and banked them, knowing they'd be valuable someday!

Dimmu is most obviously not death metal. I believe the best label would be "symphonic black metal" as tabbed in The Metal Archives. Nor is Bodom death metal. They are a derivative of power metal.
