Also, i like Nadril's posts, theyre quite interesting :D People can downplay it as much as they want, but uber-high post count garners respect, especially from those who don't actually know you. But if you have an uber high post count, surely in those millions of posts, alot of them are going to be good? :-k Thats true, but rarely goes through the head of lets say, a forum newbie who comes across lets say..Bubsa for the first time. Its natural instinct to ASSUME they are an intellectual, above the rest of the forum in every way. Alot of the respect from post count assumes on way too many X factors, IMO.

People are going to play favorites bigtime here. I consider myself an underdog favorite. If someone stands against me on a topic I always give it my all, for good or ill.

You've got to understand how slooooooooooow climate changes like that occur. We will all be long gone long before they can even prove changes are occuring/in the near future.

That's a bit strange though. "When they've admitted it themselves". If I was saying I sound like Miles Davis when I made Death Metal you'd disagree as well. Besides, 'influenced by' is something else than 'sounds like'. Perhaps I'm frustrated that they dropped their initially good, original sound in an attempt to sound like G&R. So there :P , whether or not they pulled it off successfully, is up to the listener.

You chose to name-call and disagree erroneously. And it doesn't matter what you think they sound like, when they've admitted it themselves. Sure, M. Shadows had throat surgery, but he could still scream afterward, they chose to drop it and change their whole sound.

These people are nuts, they don't sound anything like GnR :? Do some research, read what their biggest influences are, they even said it themselves. Sheesh.

How can you possibly draw similarities with those two bands? In my opinion, A7X's early goth/metal sound was great, and I enjoy it a lot. However, they pulled what Trivium did and gave up a lot of their originality in their attempt to sound like Guns & Roses (which isn't even great to begin with) City of Evil is still an alrighit CD, but the deal is sealed by their horrible hipster groupie teenage fanbase, it sickens me to browse their Myspace comments for more than 30 seconds. I swear, if the guys weren't so "hot", they'd lose 90% of their fans, because that seems to be all those girls care about! Trivium sounds like guns and roses? "The Crusade" has metallica written all over it :shock: however, I agree with ou about A7X's older sound, Waking the Fallen and Sounding the Seventh Trumpet was much better then City of Evil. No....A7X sounds like guns and roses, Trivium sounds like metallica. I figured it was common sense nowadays, so I didn't even mention it per-se. I referred to how A7X performed a similar act by copying an older band.

As a former rap fan...Young Jeezy is awful.

I only smoke hookah, and only socially. People smoking doesn't really bother me, probably because I grew up around it with my parents both smoking. I think people that unfairly look down on smokers, threaten them, etc. should be shot, though.

Lotta kids here are still too young to understand the main scope of things. I personally am slightly republican, only because my parents have raised me that way. I find myself agreeing with many topics on each side of the spectrum...probably making me more moderate, haha.

Chevy FTW, although its ok, at least Mitsubishi isn't import.
