I really don't think I was ripped off at all. All I have to do is install a new head unit, I'll have great sound integrated with great bass. I might have over-payed on the box(by the way, it is ported), but installation was only $70 which includes wiring from the battery to the back, the wiring kit itself, wiring to the head-unit, plus all the wiring which I have no idea how to do. No problem having them do the wiring, thats definitely an easy thing to botch up, especially if you have no experience. Prefab ported boxes are incorrectly tuned, and are actually significantly hurting your bass response.

You...appear to have been ripped off, but not nearly as bad as it would be if you went to Best Buy, or another large chain store. I've been installing car audio for 5 years (MECP) and quite frankly, the internet is the way to go.. The only advantage of going to retail stores is the warranty..but if you know what you're doing, you shouldn't have to worry about blowing anything. Not trying to rain on your parade, but we don't get threads on this topic posted often, and I would really like to spread the word on how ebay or independant sites is the way to go for car audio. I'm honestly not trying to brag or anything, but I paid about $600 for my entire setup, and I assure you, it surpasses yours in both sound quality and bass output. Just trying to set an example....also, ported enclosures are the way to go if you want to get more bass for your money. Its worth learning the math skills to map it out and get the port frequency correct before you build it. You'd be surprised, I've made systems that run maybe 200,300RMS sound like the best setups you'd find from Best Buy, Circuit City, etc.

Video games? Ever since the original super mario was the big thing, back when I was a youngin' Computer games, again, I started when it was still a fairly young art. My first online game was Battlefield, an online tank combat game from bonus.com circa 1999-2000.

My friend has the GT, same generation as that. Extremely comfortable, and kinda fast. GTP is even faster, but what you really need to find is the GXP, that thing is serious ownage. At any rate, its a steal for $3500 assuming it doesn't have high mileage/lots of issues.

Ooh, glad you're a fan! Yeah, Camaros have always been faster than their competitors (Mustangs, etc.), but always sold poorly, thats why they have been discontinued up until '08 I believe. Anyway, completely gutted exhaust, flowmaster exhaust system, longtube headers, K&N CAI, camshafts, and I took it to get tuned. Can't do much more, its my daily driver and quite frankly, I get 12mpg, and it cannot drive in any amount of snow. Hehe
