Reporting's for noobs?
Excellent point. Think about when you first got your driver's license (in the US at least it's called this). You get out on the road, you are a dumb noob. Maybe you wreck, maybe you don't, after awhile you feel like you own the road. So now you've been driving 5, 10, even 20 years... scared - even upset by those dumb "noobs" like you once were... Except for the fact that a stupid squirrel/deer running in front of your car one day may make you swerve and become a "dumb noob" wrecking your car all over again. <--- The Runescape equivalent could be alching your whip, or other countless dumb actions. Moral of story: none. Play the game, ignore the noobs, and when you run into them, run over em and keep going! :) totally not the same because that is based on a skill, we are talking about being an idiot and disrespectful. Seeing as you have to be a teenager to play, you personality is going to change much over 20 years, if your an idiot at the age of 13 99.99999% of the time your going to be an idiot the older you get and end up working in Mc Donald as your full time job  That made no sense. You sure you're not one of them? :XD:

Reporting's for noobs?
We don't dislike all of them, I'm certain many of them are good people. However, the average person that browses that site is generally young and not totally mature. The miniclip scandal is mostly to blame for what Runescape is like nowadays.

how did you find out about runescape?
K lets see...its Feb 2001, I'm in 8th grade computer class. I look and see some kid logging on to Runescape. I ask him what it is, he tells me etc. I hastily make an account so the teacher doesn't notice (thus, Poopingman). Everyone else follows suit, the rest of the 8th grade year consisted of everyone playing Runescape. Then people slowly trickled away, I am the only remaining member of that group that still plays.

Lego star wars 2
Its fun in a braindead sort of way. Even more if you played with legos alot as a kid.

Reporting's for noobs?
Honestly miniclippers seem a lot like a scapegoat. Obviously there was some effect from them, but with any medium becoming popular, its original "hardcore" fan base is going to be diluted. You see the same thing with bands (Dave Matthews Band and "Crash Heads" comes to mind). I see idiots everyday on RS. My point is, since they are part of the equation, rather than worrying about it, just focus on the game itself and you'll be fine. After all, there are no less than 500 clan groups out there that bring together those folks who don't ask for "fr33 St00f" all the time. Perhaps I'm mistaken -- I do spend most of my time farming and slaying. I honestly don't find myself in a place like Varrock or Falador for more than 5 mins a day. Not everyone was "hardcore" in the old days. I mean, there were noobs, morons, etc. Just not to the staggering degree there is today.

Reporting's for noobs?
Miniclip was out (as a games site) looooong before they decided to host runescape on their site. I used miniclip (and other flash game sites) for 2 years before RS was hosted there. Personally, people who complain about "miniclippers" are wasting their time griping. If something brings more people into the game you enjoy IT IS NOT A BAD THING. Period. IT IS NOT A BAD THING. (breathe, breathe, it's okay!) :) (Honestly, where else would the influx of raw materials come from for all of us higher leveling skillers?) The problem lies within the people who play the game for 6 years, 6 months or even a few days and are complete idiots (in RL and of course, in RS). Get over it and focus on your game. Constantly calling out noobs doesn't improve you as a player; it only may make you feel better about yourself until the next "noob" comes along. While its perfectly fine that more people joined Runescape, the average intelligence of the people flowing in from miniclip was dramatically lower than the average in Runescape during the time before that. Its simple math, the more of them that flowed in, the lower the average 'Scaper's intellligence got. Spend 5 minutes on Runescape nowadays and you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.

Reporting's for noobs?
While its true that many people abuse their ability to report "problems" to Jagex staff, being called a noob under your circumstances is unwarranted. Those people are fools.... ...wait, almost all of RS is these days..

Source Of Macroers?
I think he means several computers are just set up with macro programs running. The computers are the "slaves" themselves. I can see people doing this...theres alot of money to be made that way.

Counter strike ownage!
Other than insane K:D ratios, I don't have a whole lot else to share. I went 27 and 0 against quality opponents. I generally get banned before that though, so many abusive admins in CS today. They just can't accept the fact that you're playing on their server, schooling them. Always look for excuses :/

High School Musical
Girls in it look to be attractive though. I might watch it for that.

Maybe 1 a WEEK here, haha. I'd say I've gotten 2 in a day before, but no more than that.

Guitar legend
Best advice yet. You wont become a guitar ledgend by teaching yourself. You need someone to get you on the right tracks ie. perfect hand position and technique. Then practice what your tutor teaches you and practice it alot. I'd say at least 2 hours a night. I disagree that learning any instrument "requires" teaching. It definetely helps considerably, especially early on, but it is by no means a requirement.

First High School Job
Yeah, waiter FTW. You can really rake in the money that way. I personally installed car audio, but thats a pretty specific interest, I suggest one of the aforementioned jobs.

Guitar legend
Yep, just practice nonstop. It pays dividends in the long run. I said the exact same thing in a thread a few days ago. I JUST started playing keyboard a little over a year ago, and I consider myself quite adept up to this point. At one point during the Summer I was practicing 5 plus hours a day.

fave genre of music?
No, I'm not. I'm just pretty much fed up with these guys here only listening to metal (is it an image thing?) acting like their genre is exceptionally harder to play than any other kind of music, and leaves every other kind of music far behind it. And then when somebody comments about that they all start crying. So just to make things a little bit balanced again, I had to say that. For the record I don't think I've ever said that metal is harder to play than other genres. It does take talent, yes, but creating any kind of music takes talent. As far as image thing, hardly. [i can't tell if your being sarcastic or serrious here btw]. I have one metal shirt and thats an Iron Maiden one I got ;p. Anyways, thought I should put out my opinion. he is. My favorite black metal vocalist has to be Varg from Burzum though, very good screamer/growler and a smart man too. Ill check burzum out, then. That guy has quite a story behind him haha.

Log in forever??!!
In the old days, if I remember right, if you simply X-ed out the screen in the middle of a fight, your character will actually remain in the game for some time...I'm assuming it works like that in every other situation.

valentines day
Persistence is key, is pretty much all I can say. I took up digital keyboard last Spring and I'm already on the brink of playing live in a metal band. Spend as much of your free time practicing as possible, it pays off.

should 99 cooking/fletching deserve respect?
Getting any skill to 99 deserves SOME amount of respect. However, that amount of respect was significantly higher in the past, and continues to decrease as more and more people get to 99(s).

fave genre of music?
I've always liked black metal over death personaly :). What bands out of that genre are you listening to right now? Might be able to give you a few good sugestions. :) Older dimmu borgir. Mainly because of their keyboard sound. Shagrath is a great screamer too, I'm loving it!
