This is painful to read.

Mid Febuary of 01 is when I started playing, and I still play the same account to date. The link in my sig is the closest proof I have of it showing 59 Hp in march of 02. Anyone playing back in those days knows how insanely slow training was....before rune existed...heck some of it before even full mithril existed. Yes, I would so lobby for a way for us oldest players to be recognized.

So is this only for the RSC characters that people saved? If so I'm horribly against it, my account is almost 8 years old and it would make me sick to watch someone else with an RSC emote I couldn't use. I hope Jagex has a way of tracking when our characters were made. That way those who were around during the RSC days can have the emote, etc. Its a good idea, really.

I barely have time to play as it is. Runescape has to be engrossing or I fall off.

Actually these "Super" players everyone idolizes aren't always what they appear to be. In many instances, they are actually two or more people playing in tandem under the same username. People always idolize them as he or she, when in fact its actually them. Want proof? Remember TKS? One of the first highest level players. TKS was actually 3 sisters that shared the same account. The letters in "TKS" represented each of their names. Of course, in this way we can see that these are modestly normal people like the rest of us, just breaking the rules and actually being praised for it. :lol:

I have as well, 99% of them don't even play anymore... It was kind of cool the other day. I was just sitting in a bank and a player came up and was like "Poopingman, is that you?" he remembered me from waaaay back when in RSC and said my name was impossible to forget. :lol:

Feel free to rant, this is what this board is here for after all... But still, the main fulcrum of your argument seems to be your bad "luck", which really isn't a very valid point.

Intriguing...So to get Carpentry straight, wasn't it just an inactive skill in the stat box for most of classic? I can't remember if they removed it and brought it back; since sometime around 2002 Jagex was raising interest in it again with the discussing of player-owned houses.

I hated it at first. It took me a good year to get acclimated to it and actually "get" what was going on. I felt so lost.

I remember training on the dark mages as well. Back then they were positioned slightly differently, just northwest of the Black Knight fortress. It was very shallow wild so you could easily escape if attacked...

Yeah, when I got my first 99 I didn't even care anymore. Maybe 5 years ago; but now theres so many 99s everywhere it has lost almost all of its luster.

Ladykilljoy was truly a legend. I remember training alongside her at times.

Speaking of the Blood rune chest, that has been almost entirely nerfed. Now there is only one chest instead of two under the Chaos Druid Tower, and you get a random about 50% of the time, meaning you have to wait another 5+ minutes to try again.

I agree with the complaint about running. When I choose a new location to run to, even if its just a few spaces away from the previous one, my character doubles back and goes crazy, wasting valuable energy.

i remember the woman outside heroes guild, achiettes i think it is? she had a beard for along time until jagex eventually fixed it So was it really a glitch, programming error, etc.? The instance I was talking about was the fact that when you went to the Makeover Mage, women still had a facial hair option. Of course its been a long time, I may be wrong. In that case it would just be a lazy mistake by Jagex.

Really? I think you're pretty well balanced, definitely a good start for someone looking to buy an account.
