Get used to it, especially if you're doing level 3s. Key is to keep the equipment sets because you'll get multiples of the same requests: i.e. Shilo village bank, Jokul's tent etc.
  2. 8 years. Has it really been that long? I've been playing this game since before some of the current players were even born. As this prominent milestone approaches a handful of players and myself in the coming months I can't help but sit back and observe in awe how important Runescape has been to my life over the past near-decade. As I have grown from a confused adolescent gamer into an aspiring college student and musician, so has Runescape matured itself. Even after all this time, I have no difficulty drawing from my memory the first few times I played Runescape, and the instant grasp it had on me. Consisting of 2-3 servers of just a few hundred players, nobody, not even Gower, could have predicted the evolution that would ultimately bring us to where we are today: over a hundred servers with over a million active accounts. Sure, the superb graphics we are spoiled with today contrast strongly against the basic 3D renders of Runescape "Classic"; but as each new player heads down the dirt path out of Lumbridge, the feeling will always be the same. The journey hasn't been an entirely smooth ride, however. Who can forget the auto-bot oppression of last year, with waves of mindless drones taking over specific skills and turning the market upside down? Or how about the Miniclip scandal, where mismanaged advertising led to the conception of a mindless 10 year-old stereotype that is still widely regarded as your average Runesape player to this day? As much of a laugh-off as Runescape may be to your more "civilized" MMO savant, I couldn't think of a more addictive and fitting game to have spent my teenage years with. Heres to 8 more.
  3. Thanks man. As far as the poor recordings, we have done everything DIY up to this point, culminating with our last demo. Some of the older material does indeed feature a quiet guitar tone and other mishaps. Otherwise, we are continuing to write our first full length and hope to land a record deal with it!
  4. I remember her from that stupid Ernest movie with the trolls. I watched that endlessly as a kid.
  5. Ewww, and I was looking so forward to it. Real-life DBZ characters is a cool enough idea, but it doesn't look like they incorporated enough of the show into it. Plus lame one liners appear to abound. You know what, this reminds me of that hilariously bad Super Mario Brothers movie back from the early 90's that had absolutely nothing to do with the game other than the character names.
  6. Heck yes! Love symphonic black metal bands like Dimmu Borgir, Vesania, and Agathodaimon. Also, I'm in metal band that draws quite a lot of influence from black metal. www.myspace.com/thevala
  7. Boxers, I defected from Briefs at age 14; never looked back.
  8. Sorry, this isn't about that. My thread so if I want to talk about GNR I will talk about GNR  Yeah...sure.
  9. Sorry, this isn't about that.
  10. I loved Ember to Inferno, enjoyed Ascendancy a lot, but thought The Crusade was mindless drivel. At first I thought Shogun was no more than a ill-fated ploy of cashing in on Heafy's part-Japanese heritage. After I heard the screams were coming back my interest was piqued. I've listened to a few tracks and will probably end up buying it, a solid-if pedestrian, release.
  11. The demo we released during the Summer can be downloaded from our Purevolume page (see first post's link). I would love to share it with you guys. Right now, writing material for our first full length; it will be much blacker. Think Dissection meets Emperor meets Iron Maiden. (Weird, eh?)
  12. A bastarization of the classic. For me, give me some mid-tempo metal and I'm set. Norther usually tops my list, and Behemoth can really keep me pumping iron.
  13. Brutal in what sense? We have hordes of mindless bands with brutality their only aim. Not my style. Right now, in my collection, Behemoth is about as brutal as it gets. Love all of their material.
  14. Some old cKy song...to tell you the truth I never changed it because theres nothing but garbage in At&t's ringtone store.
  15. Now the throttle position sensor is going, thankfully this is only a $30 part...
  16. Good memory Deloriagod, its a Z28. I got it freshly repainted this Summer along with a bunch of other work, this just comes on the tail end of all of the repairs.
  17. I thought everyone here wore sweatpants...
  18. Just got the transmission rebuilt - $1200 Get the car home and the starter dies, another $400 All in a week.
  19. The only thing metal about this is the drumming, and even that is generic.
  20. More Poop: [hide=][/hide] [hide=][/hide] [hide=][/hide]

Fake, fake fake. To me, the most convincing sighting was this, forget Bigfoot, witches spotted in Mexico! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gNbe0YWXUuc
  22. I want to hate Slipknot, but since they serve as an entry point for many youngsters into the world of metal, I will refrain.
  23. Disturbed isn't dead...Dragonforce is at the height of their careers, how can you say that? There seems to be some miscommunication on what "dead" is pertaining to here. We are looking for bands that have mysteriously broken up or fallen off the face of the musical planet; not bands that are dead to you because you don't like them anymore. I'm sorry but some of you kids are idiots.
  24. My band is opening for Iced Earth September 21st... Then Norther plays September 24th... Then Bodom plays October 4th... gonna be busy.
