  1. I started over 7 years ago, and find myself torn between caring about the way players have it now compared to back then. One side of me wants to be angry that they have many luxuries we didn't; but that just came with the evolution of the game. Do I feel many players now (Even high level ones) are ignorant to the grand scope of things? Yes, but I know they can't help it.
  2. Stereotypes exist for a reason, you know. Although a lot of the hatred towards rap is of the bandwagon nature to dismiss it would be ill-advised. I used to listen to rap, more of us did than are willing to admit it. I personally grew out of it, but love hearing some of the classic songs that defined my high school days from time to time. When I hear rap on the radio now, it disgusts me. And this is coming from someone who could tolerate Lil' Jon and the down south rappers of the last 5 years.
  3. Actually the small guys doing tons of pullups makes sense, since they don't weigh as much. See it all the time at the gym.
  4. what's with the gangster looking white dude? has anyone told him he looks ridiculous? and you look like that first legal drink tasted bad. all around, that's a funny picture, lol. oh, and i "hyt" you ingame the other day, and you were like "what?" so i figured it wasn't you, lol. Sorry bub, I musta been in the zone. And that white guy is ridiculous and knows it, haha.

  7. Really? Nowadays my stats are pretty average..at least I thought.
  8. I work as a webmaster at a library, also in charge of the public computers. I basically sit and play Runescape all day, no lie.
  9. You fail for saying fail, the most overused term on the internet right now! ....fail!
  10. I completely disagree... You took that out of context; I said for bands that are popular and receive as much praise as Slipknot. Although now that I look at it, most popular bands sound like sheet....
  11. If I have to commit musical death like they do to achieve what you call "Success" then I'm already defeated. I'm perfectly content in my own band of friends making what many would call underground metal. It may not be popular or draw much of a crowd, but those who can appreciate it for what it is understand. I agreed with your entire post up to that last sentence.
  12. haha tread...you know what this reminds me of?
  13. I will thoroughly enjoy this. Slipknot is a disgrace to metal, and deserves no more than the shellacking I will impose upon them and their fans in this post. They helped pioneer the awful nu-metal sound of the late 90s that spawned more ripoffs like Mushroomhead and Mudvayne that still plague us to this day. To disect your last paragraph claiming I am not used to bands of this ilk: Will I lie and say I wasn't into similar bands growing up? Of course not, but I matured, grew out of it, and moved on to superior musical acts. Metal is a genre that hangs its hat on being extreme and oftentimes ridiculous, but Slipknot embodies all of whats wrong in the scene. Its no coincidence that the vast majority of the band's fanbase is 14 and under. Now I have to point out that Slipknot is often used as a "gateway" of sorts into metal; It is to metal what Blink-182 is to punk: Everyone listened to it, but not all will admit it  I want to respect this, but then hypocrits like you come along trying to warrant a band like Slipknot with erroneous claims of the band's great talent. Joey Jordison is perhaps the most skilled member of the band, but is little more than your average metal drummer; yet he receives wide praise and ultimately got endorsed because he plays for a bunch of ignorant kids that quite simply don't know anything else, go figure. May I dare say, Slipknot has a few of the least talented musicians in all of metal right now, that is, if you take popularity into account. Now I know theres plenty of Slipknot fans on this forum, but there are also a ton of kids, so thats understandable. Most of you will grow out of it, just don't end up trying to justify it by falsely propping up the musicians with false claims. :ugeek:
  14. I manage to find no redeeming features in Country whatsoever. I can stand some rap though. As a metalhead I despise all of the hipster sub genres: (metalcore, deathcore, grind, etc.)
  15. Slipknot doesn't have 50 times more talent than anything on this planet.
  16. You look like you listen to Atreyu  What does that mean? >_> You look like you listen to Atreyu
  17. You look like you listen to Atreyu
  18. You trying to bump this up and noone responding, just thought I'd be the first to post.
  19. http://www.4freeimagehost.com/show.php? ... 7582cd.jpg This used to mean a lot more than it does now, I got to over 90 in RSC and haven't focused much on combat since RS2 came out. I'm working my way to 99.
  20. Nice Myspace angles, Laura
