I'm down on ricers because most of them know absolutely nothing. For one tuner that knows what hes doing, theres 20 "wannabes" that don't.

Why should he put up with trucks' terrible gas economy, when all he wants is just attention? i get 16 mpg with my s10..the newer ones iwtht he 2.2 4 cyls get 18-25... about the attention thing...theres trucks that get way more attention than fart cans. my friend has a ford fiesta same motor and everything he gets 35 mpg city and 45-50 highway..his is a stick...it all depends how you drive it i guess. Look, I don't condone "fart cans" or any of that ricer bs, its stupid. But if you're saying he shouldn't get a Camaro, and that an S10 will get him more looks, you're crazy!

Can you dunk a 10 foot hoop?
I obviously don't care :P

Can you dunk a 10 foot hoop?
Most people I'm sure are exaggerating, but sorry my friend. Not me, I just got measured last week for boxing  Well I'm surely not singling anyone out, because I'm far from a mindreader. But I'm confident that at least half of these people are embelishing their tales to heighten their internet persona. Historically, all of these threads are like this.

Monday Poll: How many characters have you made in RuneScape?
1 Other than making a Pker, there is no need to make any more than one characters. RPGs like Runescape are games that are best played when you're putting all your eggs in one basket. Making other characters because you're bored, or want a "skiller" (stupidest idea ever, btw) is just inefficient.

Nasty Nas at it again, names upcoming album [N-word]...
I don't hate rap, but I think its on its last legs. Rappers are just simply running out of ideas. I used to actually enjoy it a bit; nowadays I can't stand it.

Can you dunk a 10 foot hoop?
This thread makes me want to die. According to these "Can you..." threads, most of Tip.it is over 6 feet tall, has size 14+ shoes, can dunk, can lift their body weight on a benchpress, can stop time, become invisible, and fly. Exaggeration ftl.

Its a Hyundai Tiburon. And Kias aren't reliable...

Yep, the Eclipse should serve your purpose. Its a v6 so its not horrifically slow, automatic (I'm assuming), and not terribly unconventional. That'll do /thread

First Car
I'm assuming you just want looks? You're lucky I was online haha noone on these forums knows as much as I do about this. Neither of those are fast, but if you just want to impress girls, looks are all that matters (whats new?). The eclipse should serve that purpose, they look alright.
-
First Car
Well Tiburons (the red one) are pretty much girl cars too. Eclipse not so much. I'm sure you can find a 2003-2004 Mustang for under 11K, doesn't have to be the v8, they both look the same.
-
First Car
A ricer is what you will become if you mom is letting you spent 11K on your first car, and these are your initial choices. Get a Mustang or something, ditch these little 4-bangers.
-
First Car
Then buy something that will actually get you some respect...like a Camaro... Either way, just don't turn into a ricer, or I'm going to hunt you down.
-
First Car
Well number 2s a Hyundai, for pete's sake. At least Mitsubishis are quality; even if it has some stupid ricer stuff done to it.
-
First Car
Ok first off, your first car shouldn't be...ah whatever, these have no power. I would say get the Eclipse...but depends. Obviously you just want attention, both should serve that purpose.

What are the worst song lyrics you've heard?
Probably some Grindcore lyrics

Are you addicted to runescape?
Long ago I was. Not anymore.

e-mail about strange armour
Almost clicked on it, hehe.

Does runescape 'do' magic well?
No, not really. They are improving, though. Back in RSC it was a joke.

Whould you give up your right to vote for an Ipod?
No, not quite.

Most Famous RS People
We clearly are on different pages here. I would gladly go deeper, but it is indeed difficult to convey the point without physical "proof" of these players' communal loser status. My theory relies strictly on stereotypes, and what these people are usually like. Believe me, I've been around gamers for a long time, as you probably have too. Problem is, I can't single any one person out with any amount of certainty, only make general judgements. I don't want another huge flame war sparked, I've been involved in plenty of those.

.Notice that the original list doesnt contain players from today s current hiscores.. players like mysticsmagics, which im sure you heard of and bluerose13x dont have an obscene amount of exp , unlike players like zezima and lilyuffie88 even YOU have more exp than mysticsmagics, who forever will be famous for the first generation of runescapers im sure. she is just 1 example.. alchemon is another.. would you say his stats require that he give up his irl job and freetime to achieve? no. but he is still a legend and will remain one. but to say someone hasn't given up their free time to get to the aforementined pinnacles of achievement isn't accurate. Sorry but isn't it in ones free-time that one should play a game? Its perfectly normal to spend free-time on a computer game, and has been for the last 3 decades. But who are we to come down on someone, just because the person has more free-time than another person? Free time is of course the prime environment to game in; but to monopolize your time with just gaming can't be healthy. Last I checked, Eat, Sleep, Work, Runescape isn't going to get you anywhere fast. Now of course, availability of free time gives older players a distinct advantage over younger ones. I researched this thoroughly over the last 5 years, always fussing about how the adults that sit on their behinds all day eventually overwhelm all others (The World of Warcraft South Park episode comes to mind). Regardless, after nearly 7 years of Runescaping, I now understand even more thoroughly the advantage being older has. Thankfully, I'm keeping myself busy moving up in the real world, only saving Runescape for a time-killer during work, etc. I suggest others do the same. I understand that you're trying to take this personally, and that is not my intention. I reiterate: i am only implying to the highest tier of Runescape players. Not the good, not even the really good. The great. Hey, I'm a webmaster at a library, I can play Runescape all day if I wanted. Somedays, if its warranted, I spend a couple of hours gaming. Theres nothing wrong with that; when it starts to conflict with you getting other, more productive activities done, then trouble arises.

My friend, there are guides and calculators that do the hard work for you. I believe Tip.it and Zybez both have one.

Of course, I was around for all of that. But to compare experience back then to experience now is a travesty. Bluerose was simply one of the first to master a (then) extremely profitable skill. Quitting your job is one thing. I'm not saying it hasn't been done by some crazed player, but to say someone hasn't given up their free time to get to the aforementined pinnacles of achievement isn't accurate.
