Let me take another stab at this... Its not a big deal for girls to play Runescape, or any other game for that matter. Theoretically, this thread shouldn't really exist. The root of the problem is the fact that most of your average male 'Scapers have minimal/below normal experience with females in real life. Clearly this is the reasoning behind people making a huge spectacle out of female sightings in the game. Be it for hopes of befriending them and meeting them in real life, or pursuing an online relationship, females get a disproportionately higher amount of attention in this game.

Learning some pretty intense video game themes on keyboard, like mega man stuff.

Then .. become preppy? That's what I did. Now I have a hot preppy girlfriend. Yay? I feel sorry for you, because that's truly pathetic. That mindset plagued me for many years, and I eventually came to a realization. Sure, most of the most attractive girls at school fit the whole "preppy" look (At least here in the States). However almost all of them are stuck up, daft, unintelligent, shallow, and everything else you don't want in a girlfriend. I'm not saying you shouldn't dress preppy, because its a nice clothing style, but just be yourself, and you'll find a girl soon enough, and it almost always happens where you're not expecting it.

Yeah, you're right. I'm just a softy. A pale, out of shape geek, I don't work out or care about my body at all, Runescape is my life! Why would I ever try to make people think otherwise... May I suggest looking over the RL pics thread; although there are many kids that fit the stereotype, there are others that do not.

Hahah, great little philosophy there. Very narrow-minded. ;) They're awesome, loved them since I heard a track on Tony Hawks Underground some years back. Their first album wasn't too strong but Revolutions Per Minute and Siren Song Of The Counter Culture are absolutely awesome. Didn't feel their newest album as much though. Like The Angel, Last Chance Blueprint, Broken English, Voices Off Camera, Blood To Bleed, State Of The Union, Anywhere But Here, Injection, Behind Closed Doors, and Anyway You Want It. Those are the most part of their best imo, but their albums are great all round :) No, its usually true, sadly.

I thought muse was more of a prog rock band, or am I really off track here? Its a pretty cool band though, haven't listened to much of their material. Thats the thing, I have no idea what genre, I guess that sounds more like it.
