    I get the same amount of experience per hour at the level 50 giant spiders as ice giants, I'm level 95. The best spot to train range or mage would the Karajama lesser demons, there are quite a few safespots.

    At my level in F2P, it's basically: I don't care if you are a mage or a ranger, I'll still cut you to ribbons with my rune scimitar. At higher levels, Fire Blasts splash all the time, even on full rune. Mage robes are basically useless. Mages should dominate over melee, not the other way around.

    of course it isn't.... jagex never changed lvl requirements. They changed level requirements to wear armor in the beginning of the game. :wink:

    Only 7K iron ores mined. :shame: Better step it up if you ever want to get level 85 mining. I have the same goal, I'm level 80 mining now. Mining is boring. Good luck on your goal, you can make it. :thumbsup:

    There isn't a rune kite there, which costs about 50K now, so the prices are still pretty much the same.

    Just buy the bones for prayer. That's what I did for level 60 prayer. Sure it cost me 4 million coins and only raised my prayer 8 levels, but it was worth it. Oh yeah, small question, how did you get runecrafting to level 54?

    Seriously? I've been to a lot of F2P parties. The best one being someone's going away party. He dropped tons of rares. Shame I didn't get any.

    Think about it, a newbie just leaves Tutorial Island, gathers a few hundred GP. Suddenly, a random event pops out. At this point, the newbie is freaking out because he doesn't know what to do. The newbie has no armor and the random deals out 10 damage on the first hit... Not a good idea. :shame:

    I think I'm burning out on my goal of 85 mining. I started on level 62 and now I'm level 79 mining. Good luck on your goal, just watch out for those crazy level 120 miners that attack anyone trying to mine rune with them.

    You could wear armor and cast curse on the Zamorak monk in the Varrock Castle, curse wears off on him in about 1 second.

    Hehe, balls... :lol: You can also make knives with iron ores and rings of forging.

    Do both, craft some air runes, then go collecting hides at the pasture south of Falador, bank, and repeat.
