For a long lasting set up, I took: 7000 Fire Bolts 12 Antifire Pots (4) 905 Gold 3 Sharks I then took the bronze axe from Brimhaven pub, and dropped it when I finished it. I also dropped empty vials as I went along for my inventory space. 20k Fire Bolts turned out to be around 750 - 800k experience. =P~

It took me an hour to get all the resources to get started, including pouches and armour etc. An hour! Three pk attempts, and the third one got me. A quick teleblock and an entangle later, BOOM three dds specs. I ran to my death pile, picked up everything except my d hide and my medium and large pouch. I. Hate. Pkers. :x

Going to get my runecrafting stuff together, get some breakfast, have a shower, get dressed and get cracking on making some cosmics!! :D

It can be very cheap, at least from 87. Just make your own cosmics, grab a lava battlestaff and use Level 7 Enchant in MTA Enchantment Chamber. That is what I will do.

Obviously someone who has neverDK'ed. A suicider is someoen that runs in and gets the mager and ranger (prime and supreme) off you so you can mage the meleer without getting bothered by the other 2. I recommend you watch this, it gives a good view on Dagannoth king hunting. It's outdated, but if you want to DK you should never do your first trip alone. Get a friend who has DK'ed before to teach you. You should have full Veracs/ Guthans if you want to DK and a decent supply of sara brews, super restores and super antipoison pots. EDIT: The mager and ranger won't target you if you stay close to the Rex safespot. Thanks very much mEb. I have DKed before, but hybriding not magic. I will never consider soloing Rex until I have done a fair few duo magic trips, it is far too dangerous. It will be something I want to develop onto eventually thoguh, so I just wanted to know if it was possible. Thanks.

Why would it be insane? I thought you could do it if a 'suicider' drew Prime and Supreme away from you and you got to the safespot to kill Rex. Maybe not? :-k
