This is a topic about powerfull movies, not to brag about your semi interesting yet mediocore choice of "favorite" movies. Doesn't matter to me. It's movie related :wink: Uggg... who said flight club? That movie gave me such a headache, litterally, I had a headache after watching it for like 2 days. I don't know why, but it was awful. I only got like half way thru and it was so bad I took some nyquil and went sleepy sleepy... Anyways, heres something for you guys to do. Go get your old old old favorite kids movie... and watch it now that your a little older and wiser. Call me crazy, but there are actually alot of, I don't know if you'd want to say subliminal messages, but "suggestions" For instance, peter pan portrays society as male dominated. There are alot of references in the movie towards women being "dumb" "too talkitive" and "easilly manipulated" There is also some rascism in the movie towards native americans (the song "what makes a red man red" and many deragatory slangs used, such as injun) Try it, it's surprising what they put in some of our heads :wink:

Hmm... lets see. Well, the only holiday / rare item I hold of any value would be my bunny ears, just because of the fact that it's untradable and not many are around, at least that you see, any more. Despite the fact that I have all the holiday items released after the bunny ears, and none of them before. I had a mask set that I bought when it cost like 300k per mask... it was fun for like a week, then I sold it again. Go figure a few days afterwards the price sky rocketed... To me, though, I guess I am in the same boat. I don't want, nor could I afford, a blue p hat, but let people spend money how they want, even if you think it's a huge waste. I personally think it's silly. I'd rather get 99 prayer then a blue phat, but that's just me. How so? People would just find different ways to spend money. People say prices for ores and what not would go up, that could be... but it would just be a matter of time before thing's settled again. I don't nessesarilly think the prices would go up, I just think you would see alot less people having no luck of selling stuff on the forum. Either way, if the prices went up or down, it really wouldn't matter. Think about it, if you get your money via fishing... your fish sell for more, and if the price of steel bars went up, it wouldn't matter because your getting more for oyur lob / swordfish / shark... Then there's people who get money from drops / hunting rares / pking. Well, I suppose the cost of drag and whatnot would rise as well then? And staking... I don't think staking would change at all. Right now, it's just like capitalism whereas 2% of the players hold the majority of the wealth, but it's just imaginary wealth.... I don't know what I am talking about any more, because I'm so sleep deprived I could eat a horse. Good day.

Thanks for bumping a year old topic. Yeah, really. I saw that Meili quoted me, and I thought I was misquoted. Then I noticed the post was from May '05. My opinions have changed a lot since then :) lpinkus Lol. Well then, lets hear how your opinion changed, I always enjoyed reading what you have to say.

Forest gump was an interesting story. I just don't care much for the middle, when it's slummy and depressing. Drugs, alchohol, fighting, yelling, arguing, ect, that stuff doesn't interest me, I go to the movies to get away from that. I'm not into sport movies like coach carter though, they bore me. John Q was just okay. A little drastic... I liked the movied "The Negotiator" Good plot, story, acting, ect.

You know what movie STUNK HORRIBLY??? The village... They advertise this thing like it's some scary crap your pants freddy kruger chain saw massacure type deal.... So I sit down prepared to be thrilled. Instead? I am bored to death by one of the worst love stories I have ever heard. Horrible acting, horrible lighting, horrible camera angles. All over horrible movie. Don't get me wrong, I'm game for the occasional love movie here and there, I guess... like top gun or something :lol: But when you lure people in, telling them they are gonna see a scray movie, and then give them the Titanic... what the heck do you expect? You see the "monster" two times through out the entire movie, and one of the times, you already know its just the crazy old fart running the cult in that suit :roll: And what the heck kind of plot was that? Some rich guy sets up a little town inside a woods and tells everyone if they go into the woods they die, if they see red, they die.... he doesn't let planes fly over, and pretends its the 14th century. It was an interesting idea overall, and had potential... but in the end, the just made a big flop as far as I'm concerned.

Wu tang is okay. I'm more into the old stuff like 3rd bass, and some of the older three six mafia. I like all music, rock rap polka country techno, hell, stuff in other languages is good too.... but, it's not that people don't consider rap. It's that they said band / guitarist.... not "rap group" or "rapper"

didnt have any refugees in it but the part about the pilot was right. Oh... I think I am thinking of 3 kings, where at the end they have a bunch of refugees but can't cross into the refugee camp, and they get arrested or something... In that case, I didn't think blackhawk down was a very powerful movie.

Not always. It depends on if your talking about the additive primarty colors, subtractive primary colors, printing colors, or light. Grab a physics book if you want to learn more about it, it's actually quite interesting. well actually you can make moste colors :P however red green and blue were the basics of creating the other colors.. which create more colors.. but trying to actually create colors that do not stem from red green and blue is the real challenge.' i don't have a physics book :P That's what I am talking about though... Look at your printer. What colors does it use? Certainly not red green and blue... it uses printing colors. These are subtractive primary colors. Cyan Yellow Magenta Those colors can make any color when mixed correctly, including black, however the black you use is made chemically. Everyone knows light is white, but can be split to make a rainbow. The additive colors for white? Red Green and Blue The colors used for art? Well look at the color wheel... red blue yellow. Funny :lol: Yea they have a translater on google for bork bork bork under the language settings. But you can only get it after clicking on a few of the other languages first... its kinda an easter egg the programmers threw in for kicks. I think its supposed to be german / austrian, it could be seen as scottish too. All well, its some W.A.S.P. country :wink:
