  5. grats on 90 strength, you won't be letting it fall behind again will you
  6. poor thiesje :( Clearly you should get higher defense
  7. Last slayer level for awhile... I don't want 78 or 79 until I know I can get 80, which with membership prospects uncertain and summoning coming out soon is a long wager at best. :P Still planning on 85 85 85 melee very soon however.
  8. don't you dare get your 4th 99 without me
  9. naise life noob jking, it took me 3 days no lifing to get it :wall:
  10. Why does prayer cost money? I want my bones to be free! Do you honestly believe that? Prayer costs money because not many people gather bones, and a lot of people want them. To answer my own question, Magic costs money because Jagex said it should.
  11. [hide=sum quotes tbh] Your argument is still flawed in the sense that alchemy DID :!: :!: :!: cost money before Jagex decided to "fix" yew longs. And what are you talking about with barrows? Except for the recent month or so when Jagex began directly interfering in the economy they've done nothing but drop. Same with about every other expensive piece of armor/weapons. Your points are very good apart from the fact that they aren't true. Correction there WERE items you COULD alch before the updates and make profit buying it all in. As for the barrows point yes these items are dropping in value overall. But they are still becoming polarised. The only reason (for example) barrows and whips dropped was better items arriving. This means those items dropped into no mans land on the road to uselessness while the new uber items replaced them but at a higher cost. The basic results being each time new useful items came out they become a bit more costly. Continue this trend down the line and you'd reach a stage where useful items were over 100mil while resources etc were all under 30gp The general motion of the economy is not defined by the rise or fall of any single object, but by what happens to the general areas (eg useful objects get more costly with each new improvement) [/hide] I see more where you're going now Paw Claw, but I don't see why all xp has to cost money. Fletching doesn't. Why does magic have to? Furthermore, just because newer and better equipment is being introduced doesn't mean that old equipment is useless now - it's just as good as it ever was, now there's just even better stuff. Sure everyone wants the best himself, but consider how much easier training has become since RSC. In regard to resources, I think it's worth pointing out that not all were crashing - yew logs had skyrocketed into the 400s well before the GE. The reason most of them crashed was because of gold farmers, nothing more. With gold farmers destroyed in the trading update, I don't believe that this was necessary.
  12. Finally got the hang of that weird farming thing... don't expect any more levels soon, I'd like 70 one day but that would cost like 2M with maples :$. I may look into recklessly planting herbs next time I get around to skilling however. I want 70 herb too. Also got 76 slayer but it was at dags so I missed the shot

  14. Fairly good guide, it's a bit short but that's just fine. However, a few corrections... God Stole > Fury: I disagree - I always make it to Jad with 8 or more super restores leftover using a fury, so unless you're very painfully slow the god stole (which gives only prayer bonus) isn't needed. A fury has attack, some prayer, and excellent defense, which is very important Black D'Hide Body > Karil's Leathertop: Well this is more a matter of preference - in my experience the 90s are more consistently dangerous than 180s (who shouldn't attack you unless you mess up) and the 108s. Plus Karil's makes you more likely to survive a missed prayer switch. And it looks better with your other barrows gear. :) Addy Bolts - Bring 510 or less: To the contrary, I recommend 700 or more. Just don't bother with other bolts - that's far too much trouble. I bring about 100 diamond (e) for Jad but that's all that's necessary. Inventory: As I said, 700 addy and 100 diamond bolts are plenty, no need to worry about the other bolts and all the switching around. As for potions, I prefer to just bring 4 range pots, 6 brews, and the rest of my inventory super restores. But the prayer potions method is fine too I guess. Purple sweets are a hideous and unnecessary waste of money btw. So far your wave descriptions look fine, if I remember I'll come back when you're done
  15. Lol what? Alching cost money a LONG time before the GE came out.
  16. Congratulations on 99 Defence! =D> But ffs if you're getting 99 range do it on assignment noob
  17. lol gremmy zgs ftw and you'll get it one day 3PM :P I'm finally done running through that ugly giant red stomach... back to some combat! Notably, I went 70-71 prayer entirely from random events and bones I buried on task (primarily random events :XD:).
  18. grats, now everybody's getting them :( If I hadn't failed 4 attempts in the recent past I'd go in now
  19. Thanks lol... I'm just afraid of becoming one of those people who's gone in like 15 times and still not gotten it... Best tear count ever tbh. Next time I play this game I hope to get a ton of summoning levels Also just got 69 runecrafting, but I clicked continue before screenying :XD: Also, got 3 hyts today... all from people I've never really met before... gaining fame ftw
