Everyone except Slyfox fails. :P Maine was really fun, I'll write a bit about the trip and post some pics later. Did a rock lobster trip today, which yielded this. 94 Magic will probably be tomorrow, don't think I'll have a party since 99 will probably be soon though. And that's all I did today.

Well total level does show in a sense how many different aspects of the game you have tried... if you prefer combat though, there is nothing wrong with that whatsoever. Neither combat nor skilling is superior to the other.

aha unbug I know you good guide, I've always killed them at the entrance... rarely got outhit, even managed to avoid having 2 on me at once most of the time. The other spot looks great though, I'll use it on my next task. I get there by glorying to edgeville, charging summoning, and taking the spirit tree... it's faster I think and you don't need an inv spot for the crossbow.

Do you even slay? If you did you'd know that with a Bunyip most tasks require NO FOOD now. So with Bandos and a Bunyip, you have the advantage over players without it. I respect your knowledge in other areas, such as the obviously Fight Caves, but in this case you're severely wrong. Laughing at who? Muggi's right, bunyip does not heal enough for many tasks and you still have to eat. In the intellectual slayer community, it's fairly widely known that if you want to spend a ton of money, you should do it by using piety on task instead of bandos. Ideal piety setup = proselyte plate + veracs skirt (or proselyte legs if it's a pray melee task too). With bunyip no healing is generally required. With unicorn no healing almost always required. O:)

Peter and Colo, I no-life as well as I can. :P Thanks Ross, it was ummm... entirely unintentional :anxious: and thanks Cruz :) Finished up that 9 hour rock lob trip today, attempted and failed to set up a sara trip, and went off to brave my hellhound task... there were like 5 people in my world, but they kindly left me half the spawns. O:) Got 91 defense and 123 combat on that task (missed pic), and then moved on to iron drags, which proved out to be decent for once. I may not block them after all. Then I chinned a nech task, and had an alarming brush with death... firefox crashed on me. :| Luckily I had gotten a teleporting random seconds before so I was saved rofl. Got a clue which yielded trash. And now I'm going on vacation to Maine until Friday the 27th. I expect the blog to be at least 3 pages on my return. :lol:

Didn't get my planned slayer in today, as after finishing dust devils I got hellhounds, which are currently ridiculously crowded. Still a good task though so I didn't want to cancel. Instead I did the new quest (which has a cool cutscene btw) and went to Etpelletier's 99 cooking party. Then I went to rock lobsters. Edit: Lol seems I jumped from 90-92 magic... forgot I got 91 magic this trip too. Won't bother uploading that pic, just look at the 92 one and pretend theres a 1 where the 2 is.

No, to summon something you have to use your own magical power to summon the aid of the being-so it represents your power just like the other combat skills, aru To the bolded part: but again, thats saying that when ever your not fighting somthing the strength in the other skills are gone aswell. Maybe. What weapons and armor are they using? Is one using potions? If so, what kind? Does one have better food? Is the area multi-combat? And, aside from all of those factors, we have the good ole Runescape luck matrix. I meant assuming that all other factors are equal. If you don't wanna look at steel titan, try the unicorn stallion. Or iron titan. Or a level 79 titan. Heck, even a bunyip would make a difference. The point is, if players are identical except for their summoning, in most circumstances the player with summoning will win. Summoning is a superb skill. No skill must be bought. If you want you can kill ice giants for all the charms you need to get 99. Of course not many people do that. Most people buy prayer. AHAHAHAHA THEREFORE PRAYER SHOULDN'T AFFECT COMBAT!!! In regard to highlanders' argument, your prayer is not used when you aren't praying. Your defense and hitpoints aren't being used when you aren't being hit. Your strength isn't used when you're ranging. Your summoning isn't used when you don't have anything summoned. Exactly the same.

Thanks for the 'lucks, ilu peter. :P Didn't burst any lobs today lols. Instead I went on a saradomin trip... I got 40 kc first and so I logged out to grab a bite to eat... then the login server crashed lol. A few hours later I logged in, still with kc, and PMed the other 2 members of the team, who no longer had it haha. They came back and I used ls to speed their kc up. The trip was going pretty well (I was the only one without unicorn lol), then one of them died. :o Was blessed, and since we had gotten 40 zily kills by then we used the altar teleport, helped her get kc, and then went right back in duo. Finished the trip dry. After that I didn't have time or motivation to do a rock lobs trip so I did a little slaying. Gonna be doing slayer tomorrow too because I'm really close to 91 attack/defense, and I'm going to Etpelletier's 99 cooking party at 1:00, which would cut a rock lob trip in half. Maybe another sara trip too.

I originally wrote this blog to document my progress on my goal of maxing combat (level 138.35) and slayer. After that I went on a quest to make as many stats as possible divisible by 10, although since then I've gotten a few X1's and X2's lol. Quickchat only worlds seem like a waste to me... mutes can communicate as well in them as in normal worlds. It's not exactly hard to figure out that a person in a regular world speaking only with quickchat is muted. If you want privacy, turn public chat off. You'll never know the difference. ;) I'd rather have more lootshare worlds tbh.

I don't know where people get that "pouch" idea from :?: Oh wow, reading that I just realized that my idea of combat is simple minded and that I honestly dont realize theres more to combat than offence! Omg, I just noticed theres a defence level in melee! Thanks, it would have taken me atleast 3 more years to realize that without your help! Says who? Oh wait, right, you are God overlord Outsanity?
