  1. Yeah. Someone else would pick it up. This would only be used to transfer cash by selling useless crap extremely high. But please, do put a Blue Phat on there for 1gp. I dare ya. ~One --> I don't sell my Hats.~ ~Two --> What if they did it on a remote, Non-Members server right after a huge update, when only like 4 people are on one server?~ ~Consider --> the grand exchange spans all servers~
  2. Your bank is a hideous mess, and you have maxed 2 melee stats and still have 85 slayer. 10/10

  4. Thanks for the bumps bone. No reply to my pm I see  Got this yesterday, no time to upload it. Never thought I'd end up no-lifing for 30k exp per day :wall: Edit: Here's the right pic lol.
  5. The method I'm referring to is the one that's been posted a few times from the RSOF, using the safespot below the western rock primarily. I've used it twice and found it very successful. The guide could easily be rewritten to describe this method, but I'm not much more disposed to make a video than you are as I'm currently not a member.
  6. Thiesje ftw 8-) Thanks for the lucks, I hope to have 80 before Dec 22, which is when Christmas break starts and I (hopefully ) become a member for a month. 70 smithing's prospects don't look so good unless I don't become a member :P
  7. I said it would be hard to find a replacement for alchemy, not that it's a problem :P
  8. Tassets > Plate tbh :P Go get a torso nub. gratz on owning bone lol
  9. I spend more than half of my time in f2p, and I get much more grief from f2pers than members (but then I wear p2p items :-k ) I don't think it's a matter of f2p vs p2p but rather mature vs immature. There are plenty are immature f2pers, but also of members (the RSOF is an excellent example of this). There are also many mature players in both.
  10. Wow, you guys are fast  They do appear smaller to me, although I think this post belongs in the hidden updates sticky.
  11. I know you didn't, that's why I pointed it out. I'm aware that there would be many less moneymaking methods, and anyone who got far enough to see my post would theoretically have also read yours, along with its prediction of catastrophe, but thanks for pointing it out :P The bottom line is that when Jagex created a game where people would be making hundreds of thousands of finished skill products, they knew that there would have to be something to do with them, since obviously one player with 99 fletching could practically supply yew longbows to everyone who will ever use one. This topic seems to be going alone the lines of "what would happen if Jagex removed alchemy from the game?" I think a more realistic approach would be to focus on what other possible methods of taking finished skill products out of the game there could be (armor/weapons breaking irreparably, a more practical selling-to-NPC system, etc).
  12. This thread needs to be locked :?
  13. I made no statement about how catastrophic it would be :-k Also, construction would be much harder to train because of the massive amounts of gold consumed in the process of training.
  14. Being muted isn't just a punishment - it's to prevent you from continuing to abuse other players. Since that isn't possible via trading, I imagine it will be available to muted players (it's no different than trading someone who says "selling santa 24M", putting up 24M, and accepting).
  15. less inflation, lower prices, skills that don't produce alchemy products are more popular (firemaking anyone? \ ) By the way where did all your magic experience come from wakka? :-k
  16. I'd love it, I could finally bank my santa hat and buy my 99 firemaking cape :boohoo: My parents are freaks and won't let me be a member whenever, but I don't think I'd have a problem convincing them to let me be a member on weekends, or just one time for a day. I'm sure there are many similar situations, and that Jagex could make substantial profit by doing this.
  17. So essentially scorpion says rares drop, qeltar duke and solidus say they won't?
  18. Good luck  Good luck! :pray:praypray still pending, i hope this is a sign that someone is actually reading it, but the suspense is KILLING ME! :ohnoes:    In this kind of situation I find it helpful to turn off the computer, unplug it, and force myself to do something else and forget about it until I'm sure to have gotten a reply :P
  19. how helpful, it even tells you what level your skill is
  20. Ran into one of my best friend's (who doesn't use tif) best friends on tif once. I've run into people in randoms that were just where I was before I got teleported. Nothing else really :?
  21. mm got 1k/9k coal, this should occupy me for awhile :P And thanks for the last grats hobo Edit - oo thanks benton, always nice to see someone on my blog I haven't bribed to bump me :anxious: (< conjoined twins?? ) Edit 2 - OK everyone, here's my DILEMMA! Mining coal is proving to be incredibly slow, and rather dull. It seems to me that it would be faster (not to mention more experience) to mine more iron, sell it, and use that money to buy coal. However, that's effectively mining iron for money and then buying 70 smithing. The thing about that is that mining iron is poor money, so I may as well just buy 70 smithing, not something I want to do! And so, I got to thinking about alternatives. So far I've come up with... - Suck it up and do what I originally planned to do. Doubt I'll do this... :-w - Mine about 15k iron, sell it, buy 8k coal and smelt and wait for an opportunity to smith it like originally planned. - Get 80 mining (something I'd like, ~20k ore) at iron, banking, then buy coal for either 70 smelting only or smelting/smithing and sell extra iron. - Powermine to 80, then buy 70 smelting or smelting/smithing. Edit 3 - I've decided to get 80 mining banking, and then smelt until I get membership or 70 smithing (this = buying lots of coal).
