If not for rares the prices of everything else in the game would be much higher because that's where rich players would be dumping their money instead of in the rares market. So I think that partyhats are definetely a good influence on the game's economy, although probably not the best item in the game (tinderbox tbh)

Fight Pits is a good idea if you're good enough to stand a chance at winning :P

Thanks everyone I also just had a fairly promising conversation with the person who took my santa in the first place, who says that he gave it away but is trying to earn it back, although it may take awhile. :roll: I suppose I can always hope. 2 santas ftw jk of course my incredibly good and trusting friend I Steele I would receive his back And last but not least... Glad I decided to wait to get 1700 for awhile, today has been a pretty good day :P

I really don't know what say. Allow me to clarify this a bit. I Steele I is a player I met early on in my quest for 99 firemaking. At the time he only had a red mask, but within a month after meeting me, he'd merchanted his way up to a white partyhat. Since then, he downgraded it to a red to buy a blue mask for a friend he knew irl, and then to a green for some more spending cash during the summer. Since then, he merchanted his way back up to a red, but after some complex changes in phat prices, he ended up with a green and a santa. Since then, he's quit. Today I ran into him, and within moments of me telling him what happened he offered to give me the santa. As noble a person as I am, I'm afraid I couldn't say no. All I can say is that I'll never sell it, and that a certain somebody now owes you a santa hat.
