Iron hit slightly higher and more often, but they still have the same max as bronze. So if you have the money and want speed go iron, if you want medium speed and dont wanna speed tons get bronze, though if you have the money and want speed i have no idea why you wouldn't do bronze knives at expiraments or rock crabs. Owing to the new shop update, there is now no "maximum" price in shops. Bronze arrows are available in infinite amounts for 7 gp ea, iron for 20. Personally I'd go with bronze...

Santas have risen a lot lately, so be warned that they may drop soon :anxious: . If I were you I'd sell it and do whatever you want (making more money :P).

I went from 65 to 93 firemaking buying the willow logs that macroers and gold farmers sell to the lumbridge general store for 12 gp each (I later regretted it when I committed myself to maples :P) But if you're gonna burn willows, that's the way to go.

Or... you could buy from the shops for the same, set-in-stone amounts that the bots have to pay for them. The only people who should be complaining about this update are botters. Unless they add further options than "Buy 10" (such as Buy 100 or doubtfully, Buy X) then this really solves nothing. I don't know about you, but I don't want to sit in a shop buying 20k cosmics or chaos 10 at a time. They did say it was meant to be a fast but expensive alternative. You can hardly call buying them 10 at a time fast, can you? :roll:

Thanks :P This is from my daily log: I dropped by the leaving/taking a break from tip.it thread today. It was really depressing - everyone talking about how boring RS had become to them, and the impact it had made on their personal lives. A lot of my friends have been quitting for the same reasons recently. That got me thinking - am I enjoying cooking tens of thousands of lobsters? The answer was no. RS has been pretty high on my priority list for a long time now - perhaps too high. I'd go home and go on RS before I'd done my homework. I don't feel like it's made a significant impact on my personal life, or my grades... yet. But with these realizations, RS got bumped down a few steps on my priority list. I'm not quitting, nor am I changing goals. But I won't be on nearly as much, if at all, for a couple weeks at least. Looks like I'll be joining you in the stands of quasi-inactive players :-w

How the hell do you figure that? With unlimited runes available all at once for a set price, where does your logic that people will pay more than that price for runes come from?

Are people a bit too eager to call a month worthless? There's nothing outstanding, but the infinite stock is likely to make an noticeable impact on the economy. The Edgeville update will be cool - it's one of the last low-graphics f2p areas remaining. The ability to get farming and herblore experience will be nice. @Darkdude, I'm pretty sure only people who have attacked the monster in question are in the running to get its drop :roll: Shared loot won't have a massive impact, but it will make it harder to steal drops. The only reason to fear this update is if you are a drop stealer.

I think anyone who has used both a MSB and a dbow (very few people posting on this topic tbh -.- ) will agree that the msb is far superior for killing monsters - the dark bow's higher attack counts for nothing when almost every attack hits anyway.
