  1. Why would you bother? Monkfish cost less, heal the same and can be bought in bulk. why would i waste time fishing monks when i can games necklace tele to the games room, run to the guild and buy what i need for the occasion and then do the boss konster/quest.it would be so frustrating for me to go to a busy city or go to piscatoris and just sit theyre bored out of my head when i can be having fun and kicking some boss mnsters...well you know what...legs :P You totally missed the point. Your idea involves paying 420k for 1000 pieces of food, which requires about 40 trips back and forth between the shop and bank. Or you can just buy 1000 monkfish for about 325k and get them all at once noted. Which makes more sense? It's not a tough call. i shouldnt be arguing about this but why would i buy 1000 pieces of food if im fighting one boss in a quest.i didnt say i was going to buy 1000's howver i did say that im gonna use them when lobs are just a little weak in the healing process. Sorry to form a quote wall, but if you're killing the KQ or KBD, you're going to need enough food for multiple trips. At which point buying food in bulk is better. I suppose it's a good source of quick decent emergency food when you need it, but I think it's a better idea to just buy a lot of monkfish so you have them whenever you need them - it's cheaper, and faster. Btw your punctuation is awful kris :P
  2. Everyone who says longsword has obviously never compared exp rates. Scimitar crushes longsword. For everyone who says longsword for controlled, you could just use scimitar on accurate, then scimitar on aggressive, then scimitar on defensive to get the same amount of exp in less time. Of course, I just use a whip on controlled all the time, instead of using a whip for attack and defense, then scimmy for str like some people do.

Oh well.
  4. That isn't the problem. The problem is they're now 450 each. Making them more expensive than superior monkfish.
  5. Looks like Jagex took something worthless, made it useful, and then made it worthless again. Figures.
  6. If it were temporary, at the end of the duration the value of supply items, and other items that are used extensively & lost (rune sets...) would have fallen considerably, as more people would have been gathering themselves - both creating supply, and maybe making them realize they don't have to buy them. If it were permanent, the game would be seriously changed. Some 99s (Runecrafting, among others that involve a lot of resource consumption) would have a whole new meaning. This would very possibly cut down on 99 skilling in certain skills (and likely training over all). And people with rares would be gods O:) although some people might not be happy to have lost most of their net worth to an untradable item that does nothing...
  7. Obviously I prefer being a member, but F2P is very low pressure - you aren't wasting $$ when you do nothing. And mandatory F2P is great time for long boring skilling goals :
  8. No :P
  9. infamous has it. Using this method I've made it to Jad easily on both of my attempts. I believe the best place to start now is slightly off of the center, so that you can get Jad in your sights as soon as possible, since the chances are he'll be able to attack you wherever he spawns now.
  10. It's always been my opinion (and more importantly, Axe_Man_Jack's opinion) that Turoths and Kurasks are a slow, irritating, unrewarding slayer assignment (you have to use a slow leaf bladed spear, or expensive slayer darts/broad arrows). However, with the shop update, broad arrows are available in infinite quantities (and for cheaper unless I'm mistaken :?: ). Does this change your attitude toward them?
  11. Same game, this was with grey chins lol :P I'm pretty sure I've topped 1k with melee too... :-k After the pc nerf, you're really better off using Zooknock's dungeon if you have red chins.
  12. ... and triple post...
  13. It has always been my opinion (and more importantly, Axe_Man_Jack's opinion) that Turoths and Kurasks are a waste of time to do - you must either use the insanely slow leaf bladed spear, or expensive magic darts/broad arrows. After the shop update which provides unlimited arrows (and at a cheaper price too I believe :?: ), the assignment has become better. Do you think it's worth it?
  14. double post...
  15. The fact of the matter is... Why the bleeding hell would Jagex create a ring that does nothing!?
  16. At what point (defense-wise) do the increased accuracy of bone bolts and black d hide overtake void knight and bronze knives (which assume your target has very low defense) I'm asking primarily in terms of slayer creatures (fever spiders, bloodvelds, blue drags, nechs, gargoyles...)
  17. mm updated... I need to check this more often lol.
  18. ACTUALLY jagex nerfed them because bots started coming and buying them....and unlimited amount! so this thread is dead What's different now? :|
  19. Bump, in the hopes that what happened to my blog doesn't happen to yours :ohnoes:
  20. You're leveling cooking slightly faster than I am
  21. I don't see the point in getting a 99 that much slower just so you can afk it. Barbarian fishing > Shilo fishing
  22. Sorry to see you leaving, you were the first person ever to post on my blog (my first really awful one or so, hanging around page 47 :P) Enjoy real life :)
