Keep in mind that if Jagex told anyone that they were reintroducing rares into the economy, the rants forum would explode like never before. This is a good way to manage it covertly, but I still doubt they'll do it.

Personally, if I want to buy something I just do it, and don't worry about who I'm buying from. If gold farmers have a monopoly on something, that doesn't change the fact that I plan to buy that something. Aside from that, plenty of pures make money without drop trading.

You won't need that many brews, and you may as well take a recoil.
