Most Useful Item On Runescape
The irony... You don't respond every 5 replies on your own topic to raise your post count. OT: Combat related would be a whip, as it's the universal weapon of all medium to high level trainers. In terms of skilling, the wide variety of items needed for all the different skills makes it harder to zero in on one. I'd say the pickaxe because without there wouldn't be mining, smithing, or runecrafting, and magic would be very restricted.

LootShare 16 October 2007
At least the update killed DK luring :? No one will really use shared loot, but meh. I suppose it could be useful if you decide to go killing a boss with a complete stranger.

Ghosts
I think that there is just too much evidence for them to not exist. Unless you believe that the human soul entirely ceases to exist upon death, it isn't too great a stretch of imagination. Btw you should have to spend a night in a violently haunted house before you say you're certain they don't exist

Al Gore wins Nobel Peace Prize!
I don't think anyone [who knows what he's talking about] would deny that global warming isn't entirely humans. I don't. But just give me a straight answer: do you believe that humans are entirely unresponsible for the warming the earth has experienced in the past century? Further, it does not take much warming to set off massive reactions. For example, melting permafrost releases sequestered methane - a greenhouse gas many times more powerful than CO2. Melting ice caps destroy the gulf stream, turning England into an iceberg. Increasingly acidic oceans become uninhabitable for phytoplankton, responsible for 80% of the oxygen on earth. Is the earth at risk of being destroyed? No. Is it at risk of being made considerably less habitable? Yes. I realize all of that is a somewhat impotent argument if you believe humans are entirely unreprehensible for the earth's rising temperatures, so it all really comes down to whether you want to believe that humans are in any way responsible for what is happening.

the Veterans Disarmament Act and the G.A.P. Act
Well then perhaps we should be tightening gun laws instead of loosening them :|

Al Gore wins Nobel Peace Prize!
The earth does go through temperature cycles. Humans are not entirely responsible for the rise in temperature. But to claim that we have not played any part in it is absurd. And what part of my logic do you think is incorrect? You said that humans release lots of CO2, do you deny that CO2 traps heat the atmosphere? I was specifically referring to your claim that volcanoes are responsible for more CO2 in the atmosphere than humans. Luckily for the environmental cause that is unlikely to happen  I beg to differ in that respect - and not just in regard to global warming.

@Flame, I'm afraid you're spouting utter [cabbage]. @Kashi, it wouldn't. Earth requires a certain amount of greenhouse gases to maintain a constant temperature - conveniently enough about as much as there was before the industrial revolution. Occasionally natural events occur that spout massive amounts of carbon into the atmosphere, but ultimately that is sequestered in the form fossil fuels (oil coal etc). However, humans are taking this carbon which has been sequestered and reintroducing it many times faster than nature stores it, thus raising the amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, and the earth's temperature.

Humans are releasing incredible amounts of greenhouse gases. Greenhouse gases raise the temperature on the Earth. What the hell is there to doubt?

the Veterans Disarmament Act and the G.A.P. Act
America has one of the largest (if not THE largest) military budgets in the world. I think we're safe  In the meantime over 11,000 people are shot every year in this country. Guns ftw.
