  1. You should have the manuals that describe the process of taking apart the laptop, and it will also direct you as to where and how to access the motherboard so you can replace the fan unit. Just make sure you buy a fan that is compatible with your notebook.
  2. Fans shouldn't really cost more than $30 USD (especially for older machines), they are often mass produced anyway. If it is $120 including the cost for the some guy in a tech shop to replace and "source" the part then you might as-well do it yourself or get a tech savvy friend to do so, if you are certain you cannot use your warranty because you aren't at risk of voiding your warranty if you are no longer eligible for it. What model is your Asus?

congrats, you bribed them I could be mistaken but I think that's how they try to deal with foreign speeding tickets in Europe. I hear a lot about people from here getting caught by speed cameras in France and then never paying them because of faulty European police communications or whatever that makes it hard to actually get the money from tickets. So if they catch you on the act they'll try to ask for it in cash to make sure you actually pay. But I could be completely wrong, making most of Frances police corrupt money grabbing bastards. Pretty much exactly the case. The law in France in particular is that you pay speeding fines with cash, if you cannot pay with cash you are escorted to a bank to retrieve said money. For the record you are entitled to ask the officer for their details and they only hail you down at turnpikes anyway.

Now I feel left out. Live in the commonwealth and I'm not even taught Queen's English. There is a Queen's English?!? Oh Received Pronunciation. My natural accent is a Hybrid between RP and Strine. As in everyone who speaks with RP hears the Strine and everyone else hears the RP. Also for the record, In Queen's English the word "Bloke" is never uttered. Bloke is usually replaced with "Ruffian", "Chap", "Gentry", "Fellow", "Comrade", "Rapscallion", "Friend", "Gentleman" and the politically-correct-gender-specific "Male Individual"
  10. Downloading it right now, I am ready for muh immersion. I loved BG1 & 2, had some fun with BG:EE, BG2:EE and IWD:EE. But I think it is time for something different. ;) but otherwise the same. Still waiting on Adventure Y though.

On the topic of butter, I can't stand the stuff. I only ever use it for cooking, never for spreading in sandwiches. Other things I do not eat include: Nutella, Peanut Butter, Marshmallow Fluff (the cheap stuff that you spread on toast or eat with your fingers idk) Things I do eat (and spread liberally): Marmite, Vegemite and English Mustard :P I usually help myself to a spoonful of these whenever I am feeling like it.
