  1. :D It doesnt look fake to me. I doubt its fakeness. If it is fake, I tip my hat to you. It looks really good
  2. The flames are taken from a google picture.
  3. I know, pity it's jerky. Maybe next time I'll add colour and make it look better
  4. Just made this, it's very jerky but i'm not going to try and sort that out. Probably going to make more of these but slow down a bit so less jerk and more quality
  5. You should make this post into colour challenges just for practicing pixeling. Going to try this first one. Does it matter if I edit the linework?
  6. Brilliant feet. I can never pixel them
  7. so when exactly was the last time you saw a dragon then? I like it cus its such a cute idea, forget perfection.. I think you've drawn everything you intended to draw, crits for the future would be to research more into what you'd find in the image ur intending to draw, in a cave simple research caves on google.. Don't simply copy what you see but take on board what you find and mimic certain colours, shading and textures.. You'll find it'll make the background less empty and more interesting to the eye. With the dragon you can't find many reliable references to help you so I'd suggest looking up lizards and horses, as a dragon is basically a mix between the two, for wings maybe a bat or.. An Eagle may be a good animal to research because it's movements and stances are similar to what you would expect of a dragon.. oo a very evil buurd  good points tho despaxes and xman The idea was Dark Shadow who was in the list of free ones to make. I do feel that this one is very empty as I worked of the basis of a horse for the dragons head with alterations like [bleep]es etc. As I'm making free ones they're never my best although I'm working towards putting utmost effort into them. One other point which I keep forgetting to add in to my work is darker shading and more variablility between the colours for the shading. I can never get this right and need some advice. When I started making this I had a good idea of what I was making but was unsure of how to make it. I see how researching will help me. One of the biggest problem I had was making the kittens jaw increase in size as the fire came out and anotehr big problem was animating it. Thanks you very much for the crits, I've keep all of this is mine in a file for the future, as well as drawing it I'm going to start research more <- That's my late new years' resolution :D ~Lemonfish
  8. Thanks for the c/c. I'm not planning on changing anything but I'm certain I need to take more time on my future pixels. I found with this one the colours weren't picked very well and I noticed the gold/sand thingy too
  9. Good idea. Started doing this for a couple of mine. Penguin creation below V
  10. really you should use search. Found out that photoshop has a gif animator and if you search you'll probably find loads.
  11. Made this free for dark shadow. Currently making many free signatures on media market. C/c please for future pixels and check out my media market post for more eamples of my work. Thanks ~Lemonfish 8)
  12. You can also do this without paths, sewt the spacing as you want it and pretend you're doing a signature, quite nice results very quickly.
  13. Didn't I ask you about this before :?: Thanks anywayz going to be really useful in future work with PS. Maybe i'll +fav this
  14. I'm now much more patient and tend to use pixel by pixel linework. For the shading I generally use pixel by pixel but sometimes use the fill tool and then later dither it. My current signature has an old one I made in, it has very dark clean lines due to me taking the time to go around them. If you want your work to look neat and cartoony it's best to use this technique. Generally aty the moment I use darker shades for the lines as it makes them look more proffessional - Some people like dark shadow don't have lines, they leave them coloured. :D Good luck in pixelizing. EDIT: Never thought of recording how I made it in a gif. I'll probably start that as I can see what I prevously made quickly. Thanks for the advice
  15. different darker shades of the same colour
  16. would be nice if you could make them into pixel, pretty nice anyway
  17. pretty good You could do with some shading
  18. He is too symetrical. Maybe make it so the arms are bent so there is more angle. Add more detail to the arms (most people's arms aren't cubes) Looking good otherwise. Maybe put some evil red eyes in
  19. I make mine in paint and so does mxm who's one of the best
  20. Rate and c/c my current signature. It (hopefully) links to the posting as I am a pixel maker. What do you think of it. The pictures' old and the background new.
  21. Well I have Elements 3 and I've never had the problem apart from when it was in grayscale. Try colourizing. You can also get stuck with the opacity on and not be able to change anything but that's probably far out.
  22. Just like programming languages (e.g html, one wrong "" and you puzzle for hours)
  23. Simple : Happens to me all the time, you dont have it in RGB mode. To solve go to image -> Mode -> Click on RGB, go through any other stuff you need to
