  2. I kinda fall into that category. The show just taints it with KID all over it. But, I won't judge since I do like other "kids" type things anyway. Taking about the show, what's up with these hundreds of seasons? What number Pokemon are they up to now?

The biggest problem is students not being able to get into classes that they need. For example, I am currently a freshman in college majoring in Art. Because my year has the lowest priority for enrollment, my year enrolls last. For the current quarter (spring quarter), by the time I was able to sign up for classes, every single lower-division art studio class was full so I am taking ZERO art classes this quarter. This is likely to happen again and again through my four years at college. People with higher priority enrollment beat me to enrolling in classes that I NEED to graduate. With enough delays like that, I will not be able to graduate in four years. So credits-wise, you should have no problem completing enough credits in 4 years. The problem is being able to take specific classes that fulfill general education requirements or major requirements because the classes fill up. Also if you are double majoring (like I will be), summer classes can help spread out the work load. Especially if you're in [cabbage] states like-*Looks at location* Oh. You understand. That is the reason why colleges and schools in several states suck really sucks right now, and quite frankly, it's not fair at all. You covered all of life after high school.

Close minded idiot. Well I do understand where he is coming from. Lots of drug users (several in this forum) think taking drugs is almost like a necessity to live a happy, open-eyed life when it is NOT the case.
  10. It's damn disgraceful how the Chinese government handles their "businesses". My prayers go for those in both the Chinese and Americans.

Damn that's horrible. Math for six hours a day? I wanted to kill myself for my pesky 50 minutes. I start junior college June 7th I think, just sometime in June. It's a bit costly (since it's private) but it will pay off since Californian Public schools are total junk right now.
  12. God forbid if you go pre-Internet. XD

  16. Well, yesterday when I went to court there was this 10 year old with a citation...so you're not very off. :ugeek: Since I've been reading OT since I was 13 (17½ now), pratically throughout my high school era, I learned a lot about life. Without OT I would sure of been those annoying "self-proclaimed smart kids", still hating jocks and popular kids, and very anti-social. People always laugh at OT being serious, but, as a empty-minded kid it really taught me about the general social work of the world.
  17. Because I was comparing it to books...? What else would I be talking about? I suppose I didn't clearify this enough. Writing is cheap to do, so people will write not for profit but for a deep understanding of a subject and write in a way that's good because they love it. Filmmakers have a higher chance at just targeting what the majority wants making same-old, dull movies and shows like people are saying today. Let me just tell you I'm not some sort of idiot you can easily "roll over" on a online "debate". Just letting you know. Secondly, I was defending that motion pictures are not the "stupid, useless junk" people say they are when comparing to books.
  18. Awww man, I'm so sorry Das... But I must thank you for indirectly making this thread FULL OF WIN! AHEM. Sorry for your disapointment.

A Scottish a Mexican? What. The. [bleep]. :-|
  20. Pretty much. War isn't pretty. I still have to watch this. I liked Band of Brothers so I should like this...and as of late I've been watching a lot of WW2 Pacific documentaries; The Pacific would only be the icing on the cake. First episode of BoB boring? You nuts? It was funny as hell!
  21. Wasn't it him that he was captured, freed, re-captured, freed over and over again? With the Chinese or whatever? Meh, I always never like shows with long-run times no matter how good. 3-5 seasons should be the limit I swear...
  22. How could you put up with that, and still return? 13 times? Drop it off, dude.
  23. You underestimate the power of an image. "A picture is worth a thousand words." Seeing death and imagining death are two different things. Seeing someone die in a movie is much more metally and emotionally impacting compared to reading sad feelings and anger. Action is much better for pictures, where as words (like thoughts and complex emotions) would be better in words. But the big problem you guys have with movies is that it's still profit-driven because they're expensive, whereas writing just costs paper and a pencil. However, there is skill in making a movie that can express ideas and facts like a book. Among all the movies ever made they are few, but it is very possible.
  24. The Hound Dog hat for Heavy IS HARLIOUS! I want one so badly!
  25. So the government is teaching abstinence...and that is funny? It's even NEW?!
