  1. It looks like a sad picture. He has a sad face when it's his birthday. It's just sad...and in the actual definition of sad not the slang. Though I don't know why I'm analyzing it.
  2. More shock news? Um, sucks for the old lady but what can we do?
  3. I can't see a reason why the universe is finite. Nor can I see a reason for the Big Bang. A collision of mutliple universes/dimensions, fine, but just out of the blue? Naw. I know this is going to be drowned with scientific theories, facts, and studies, but I'm not gonna read them just to let you know.
  4. I approve of the bump because this is my type of thread. To all the TV-bashers, this is sort of like books. You can't compare literature as inefficient and wasteful because inappropriate or pornographic books have been made. You may not like the TV shows NOW but you can't hate that form of creation. I mean, human beings are a very visual species. One would expect visual representations of art and stories be an effective way to express ideas and beliefs (not to mention entertainment). I do agree that reality TV has taken over too much already. I remember History Channel being with old-school "boring" documentaries and stuff I absolutely loved. Now what? Axmen, Ice Road Truckers, and some half-educational half-reality shows like the Naked Archeologist or Cities of the Underworld which aren't bad but I don't want to learn history with Bob Joe. And in-evidently we can't talk about horrible TV without ranting about today's cartoons compared to before. All I got to say, is that kids cannot analyze and comprehend semi-complex situations. Let them be kids and let them have the bliss while they still can.
  5. I personally hardly ever read but I wouldn't call myself stupid nor ignorant. In fact I never ever read much at any time in my life, which is why I have a hard time reading higher ended books (like with philosophy and such) and why I write my essays like a debatable conversation. People still think I'm the super-smart book worm. I never was nor will I ever be. :shame:

Buy hundreds of crickets from the local pet store (should only cost a few dollars), show up early, then release a few dozen at a time into different points in the school. If enough of them survive to breed and infest, lawsuits will ensue. Fix'd That's why he shows up early. They can't do a damn thing if they don't know he did it  What school do you go to? Here in Texas our schools have locks and cameras. Then expel you for bringing gang-related danger in school.

A funny thing my friend said is that if today we're reading Shakespeare and Huck Finn and books like that, in three hundred years will people read Twilight and Harry Potter and anyalize that? A scary thought...a very, scary thought. XD

If I can just turn "off" the sexual desire I have, I would. It makes no practical sense until I want kids. But alas, it won't happen...tiny chemicals > complex brain function.
  9. How do you get on the internet if you don't go through one of those businesses? Well I meant on the scale of this sort of "censorship".
  10. Yeah, music shouldn't be THAT big on your life to make it change relationships to people because of what they like...
  11. WTF!!! You [bleep]ing [developmentally delayed], 14's nothing to be sad about! Haha, what an idiot I was back then...what an idiot... -_- 17 years old now... Haha dude i just watched ur video Pasta Wars xD very nicely done Thank you! But that's horrible compared to what I do now. XD Holy crap, I always assumed you were older based on your OT posts Orly? I probably blew my age factor there.
  12. Hasn't the internet been threatened to be taken over by big business since...well it's creation? Has it yet?
  13. A cure to Alzheimers please.
  14. That was pretty damn awesome.
  15. Now I just find that beautiful.

It makes sense to me. Forcing someone to take care of kids would be a type of slavery, and that's what he's talking about.
  17. I don't get it much, but if it hurts the WBC, then it's got my support!

No it's like Starcraft. If by Age of Empires you mean Real-time strategy games, then yes. It's like AoE but in the future. Though, the menchanics of it are much different from AoE 3. Closer to 2, but still different.
  19. He made a living and we should be grateful for that. Rest in peace Mr. Culp.
  20. When people confuse poorer areas as ghettos make me laugh tick me off. Just because it's older and has a few "pimped out" cars doesn't mean it's a cesspool of crime and blacks (or in my case, Mexicans). And white as the minority? Move to Wyoming. Kid you not, every Taco Bell worker there was white. TACO BELL. Jesus Christ you don't see that EVER! (least not in California) == On-Topic with Earthy: I'm almost in the same position as you. I'm not a social person, I don't feel the need to talk with everybody I see. People mock me for it but [bleep] them. [bleep] them, because, I have something they don't and that's what you should have. Find something that you do, like a hobby, and make it your own. An example would be this guy's skill with computers. Can set up networks, write code, fix PCs, I don't care but he's skillful of computers. Eventually, he would get a pretty good job with it. There's only one job you can do with flirting and that's not the most deseriable jobs around... especially if you're male. Either way, find something that is purely YOURS and live life with the knowledge of being unique, with your purpose on this world so you don't have to rely on being socially popular to achieve a place when you already have one. Because, ultimately, the success of life is personal satisfaction in your job or money standing or family. I've never heard someone dying proud because he/she had x-amounts of friends or girl/boyfriends or whatever. Live life with your own position in the world doing something YOU can do damn well at.
  21. It's not the fact of creating movies about RuneScape, but, just creating a movie with resources available to you. I don't have a decent camera, actors, nor sets to make a "normal" life-action movie. Nor can I draw or have the appropriate software to make cartoons. My third option would have to be video games. The satisfaction comes in the end, when you released your movie and you see a flourish of comments liking your video. Just yesterday I finished my machinima (which took two months to make) and said to myself I won't make a new machinima for a few weeks. Behold, today, I read 8 pages of comments of people absolutely LOVING my movie. (Shameless advertising) Now I can't wait to make another one! My opinions on the matter.
  22. I say let education be crap. After all, the companies you work for teach you THEIR way of doing things. :?

Oh, it's using the Medieval Total War 2 mechanics (or Medieval's using Rome). I don't like that mechanic for some reason...I loved Medieval Total War 1 but not the mechanics of two. The idea's great, as with all the total war games, but I can't get into the mechanic...plus I suck at military strategy.
  24. The government should only be used to protect us, maintain a respectful stance of fairness, and free up opportunities. Sticking with the fish, the government doesn't teach us to fish, only gives us fish. Free education of the sort will correct it.
  25. I, for one, hope this becomes the 2nd Roman "Republic".
